I'm not much of a doughnut person, but jelly filled are my favorite. I was going to make Onigiri the other day, but my sticky rice had bugs in it, so it got thrown away, and I'm all out. I'm having Cajun fried tilapia and carrot sticks for lunch right now.

I recommend purchasing plastic containers for your dried food goods. We had to resort to that ourselves two weeks ago after having some bugs in our oats and rice, too. We've since cleaned out our cabinets as a precaution, so if you haven't already, I recommend you doing the same.

I bought containers for a lot of my dried stuff: spaghetti, rice, oats, almonds, breakfast cereal, etc, because I'm tired of rice weevils contaminating my dried goods! Again, it's not just rice: I can confirm that they also get into flour and oats, thus containers for them as well. I have a container that's not being used yet, but I plan on using it for sticky rice next time I buy a bag. Also trying to switch out spice containers for glass jars. When I have more than one of the same spice, like chili powder, that's when I put it in a glass jar with a wooden sp00n. Unfortunately, I broke one a while back... I'm trying to get myself to purchase at least one every time I go to Hobby Lobby. Plus, I think having food in clear bins, plastic or glass, look more appealing. Gives the kitchen a bit of a rustic vibe, ya know?

Hope it goes well for you.
We had some ground beef thawing in the fridge since last night, but realized we were out of taco seasoning and tomato sauce, or we would've made some stuffed zucchini. We're both too tired to go out and pick some up tonight, so does anyone have ideas on what to do with two ziplock bags of ground beef, I mean besides burgers, nachos, and chili? Otherwise, we'll wait and see what we can come up with tomorrow.

Stroganoff maybe? I don't know what you have

No noodles for stroganoff, I'm afraid, as that's something we don't make much.

You can use it for omelets too, but that's all I got.

No we don't, but I'll remember to pick some up. I cooked some lemon garlic chicken with broccoli for dinner tonight.

Zucchini lasagna was my dinner tonight. Tomorrow I'll try my hand at actual lasana, since I picked up the ingredients today (my landlord drove me to the store because I needed things)!

Slice the zucchini lengthwise, put in a colander with salt and drain for a while, cook ground beef, drain, and pour tomato sauce with it, simmer for a while, spread meat sauce on bottom of pan, layer the zucchini and meat sauce, and top with shredded or ricotta cheese. Put in oven at your desired temperature and time, and keep an eye on it. Take it out of the oven and let it cool before cutting into it.
Or you can look up whatever recipe suits your fancy. I no longer follow a recipe for zucchini lasagna nor stuffed zucchini, as they're pretty simple to make, at least to me.

Chicken soup and crackers for me. A cheapo meal, but we're both lazy tonight, so it is what it is.
Couldn't you take medicine to suppress heartburn before you eat them? My dad takes Nexium a couple hours before eating anything that would give him heartburn otherwise, like chili. He claims it works, but it might be different for everyone. I don't know.

If I had the money let alone the room, I'd purchase another deep freezer purely for meat storage. I was finally able to buy another brisket (not the kind of brisket I wanted though, as that was $60-something) AND a tri-tip yesterday! Unfortunately, my deep freezer is now filled to the brim, as is my standup freezer in the kitchen. I have to use my detergent or something heavy to keep the deep freezer door closed, so I think I'm good on freezer food for a while.
I also accidentally left out some ground chicken this morning, but I stuffed it in the freezer anyway. It was room temperature, but I'll chance it.
I'm having cheesy cauliflower soup in the pressure cooker tonight.
July 4 2020: Taco Bell tonight using Doordash delivery, though my mom is making it sound like I made a mistake doing this. That, or she meant don't waste the 30 day free delivery thing. I don't know, I can't tell by text alone. Delivery service wasn't bad, but the lady didn't follow instructions. I input 'please ring doorbell', and she knocked instead. ...OK then, whatever.

A piece of toast with butter and a cup of coffee. About to make another piece of toast, in fact. And we haven't used delivery services like that yet. Glad it worked out for you, though.

Arby's via Doordash: roast beef and cheddar, fries, and cheese sticks. They didn't give me my marinara and Arby's sauce, though. Luckily, I had a pack of Burger King's marinara, and two packs of Arby's Sauce, in the fridge. Also got an extra cheese stick, so whatever. July 25 2020: OK, I chopped up half a head of cabbage and cooked up some cubed chicken in preparation for chicken and cabbage casserole for dinner tonight. Sadly, I realized I was out of mayo from the last time I made the casserole, which was last night! So I tossed the chicken in a pan with some water, put in some taco seasoning, and now I'm letting it simmer. I'll make chicken cabbage burritos instead, and tacos if I have shells that aren't stale. Aug 8 2020: Dad tricked me by getting me one of those sh!tty plant whoppers for lunch today! I mowed the backyard of the rent house and he bought me lunch, but didn't ask me what I specifically wanted. I thought the 'burger' was missing that familiar char-broil taste! If he does this again, I'm tossing it in the garbage! (its also making me a bit ill). I MIGHT order something using Doordash for dinner tonight, but I don't know yet. Its been over a month since I used it, so I shouldn't have issues with my mom about it.

Out of all the topics it could've posted that trash in?! ....... ANYWAY, this is what we made for dinner last night, along with steamed mix vegetables. www.delish.com/cooking/recipe-ideas/recipes/a54115/garlicky-greek-chicken-recipe/No breakfast, but I had a tuna salad sandwich for lunch after I came home. You know, seafood restaurants sometimes have common items on the menu like burgers, steaks, or chicken tenders, mostly for the kids. As an adult, if you go to an expensive seafood place and wind up purchasing a 'gourmet' burger, you're better off just going to McDonalds or Checkers for a much cheaper burger! Or going to Logans RoadHouse for a good cut of steak for $12 or so. Why pay for a burger at a SEAFOOD restaurant when you can purchase salmon or fish for the same price you pay for a steak?!

I regret clicking the link to see what it was... Ew!
How was the soup made? I had that yesterday in the pressure cooker with garlic toast for dipping, except I pureed my soup into mush. Still tasty that way! Would've added some heavy cream if I had some. I'm having a nutribullet breakfast right now (mixed berries, banana, honey, Greek yogurt, almond milk), and a cup of coffee. I can't go a single morning without coffee anymore, I'm so use to it!
