Fanfic: Power of Choice

Too much info huh?


Peach was knocked out from the storm, but felt the sun's warmth on her body.



"Ugh...What happened...?" she mumbled as she started to wake up.

She opened her eyes to see clouds all around her.

"Where am I?" Peach thought and got to her feet, "Wait...this is Sky World!"



She looks around in shock and thought, "That's was quite the storm...and Ganondorf...wait, where is he? Did he...survive?"

Peach also remembered that he tried to help her again.

"I better find him..." she thought and runs off.

Elsewhere in the cloud world, Ganondorf was out cold from the storm's strength.



He felt a breeze and the suns light as well.

Ganondorf slowly wakes up, and shield's his eyes for a moment with his arm.

"What in Hyrule...?" he asked in a daze.

He lets his eyes adjest to the brightness, then starts to get to his feet.



"What am I doing here?" he thought, "That cursed storm put me off course!"

He looks around to see if he can find a way down.



"You're not going anywhere!" a young man's voice was heared behind the gerudo.

"Hmm?" Ganondorf sounded and turns to the voice.

He sees a young man, bow in hand, and wings uppon his back, looking down at the gerudo from a high ledge.

"Pit," Ganondorf said the man's name, now ready for anything.

Uh-oh...this might spell trouble for Ganondorf, huh?

I'm so mad right now...My stupid camera won't let me upload pictures right now. So I'm stuck at the moment...

Aw, how come? Or do you know?

Slow Internet again. I hate dial up....

I don't think there's anything I can tell you about that, except nag your parents into getting a faster Internet connection, but you may have already done so.

Been there done that. These days I almost have the right mind to buy it myself! I'll be glad when the thing is gone for good...

Gone for good? That may take a while, but who knows?

Linksys isn't all that great, to be honest. I sometimes get random disonnections for no reason, and when the main computer's Internet (my parent's) goes out, so does the rest of the Internet in the house.

However...the people across the street from me have wireless Internet as well, and I somtimes connect with theirs when ours isn't working.

Well I finally managed to get a part in so here it is:


"Are you up to your tricks again?" Pit asked.

"Get off my case," Ganondorf said, "I just want to get out of here."

"Ha! Like I believe that!"

He jumps up to the ledge Pit was on and continued, "I'm telling the truth."

"Back off!" Pit said and aims a light arrow at him.



Pit fires at the gerudo, but he jumps down before it hit him.

The angel jumps down and waits.

"Just listen to me," Ganondorf said and walks towards him.



"Away with you!" Pit said, breaks his bow into two blades, and slashes one of them at the evil king.

Ganondorf dodges the attack.



"Listen to me!" Ganondorf almost shouts, now prepared for another attack, "I'm not going to do anything to your world!"



"How do I know if you speak the truth?" Pit asked.

"How do you know if I lied?"

Pit says nothing to that.

"Look...all I want is to get down to the ground, is that too much?" Ganondorf asked.

"For what you did when Tabuu was around, it is."

Ganondorf growls and said, "Give me a break! That was a long time ago and I didn't know about the cur, and you know that!"

"You're still wanted for the crimes you've done," Pit said

"I feel like killing this kid right now..." Ganondorf thought, getting fed up with him.

"If you want to leave, speak of why you're up here.

Ganondorf gets a hold of himself and said, "Strong storm winds got me here, OK?"

"Really? I heard shouts, but I'm pretty sure I heard a second one too. A woman. "

The gerudo king froze when he heard that, remembering that Peach was with him.

"Aha...someone was with you I take it. Come out with it."

He hesitated then said with a sigh, "Princess Peach."

"And why is the princess with you?"

That's when Ganondorf couldn't think of anything, Peach only escaped the once and stayed with him since.

"I...don't know..." he said.

"What?"

"I don't know," he repeats then remembers what she said, "Oh right, she said she owed me."

"Owed you?"

"Yeah...she helped me out, but I helped her twice...actually...I should say three times now."

"Three times?"

"I tried to keep her from being sent flying in the storm, get hit by rock and debris from a blast and made sure she didn't catch a cold in a jungle rain storm. She helped me...when I had a bad virus and couldn't move."

He puts his guard down now and said, "Well? If the princess is hurt up here...the blame won't be me now."

Pit started to think about it.

"Fine. I'll let you through. I hope what you say is the truth."

That's OK. I'm taking my time with this anyway.


"I didn't think this jungle was so vast," Link said, as he and Mario moved through.



"You're right about that. I don't usually go in this deep," Mario said.

"Move over, losers," Wario's voice was heard behind them.

They turn to see him heading their way on his bike.



"What are you doing here?" Mario asked, "Causing trouble again?"

Wario stops and said, "I said, move over. I don't have time for you numbskulls."

"We'll move if you tell us why you're in this 'hurry'," Link said.

Wario sighs and sighs and said, "Alright...I'm doing something for Bowser alright? Nothing more, nothing less. Now can I go?"

Mario thinks then said, "Fine."

"What?!" Link asked in shock.

"Let him go."

"Thank you, maybe I'll give you part of my pay," Wario said, "Then again...maybe not...depends on my mood."

He then rides off.



"Why'd you let him go?" Link asked.

"What he said means that Bowser is still looking for Peach," Mario said.

"Does that mean...?"

"Fraid so...We better move...and quickly."

Elsewhere Wario stops his bike, lets it lie on it's side and looks out.



"Now...if I was Ganon..." Wario thought, "Where would I be?"
Something clicked in his head.

He gets back on his bike and drives off.

"This is going to hurt when I land," Ganondorf thought as he fell from Skyworld.



Ganondorf looked around as he did to see any signs of Peach.

"I wonder if she got blown up here as well?" he thought.

Ganondorf lands on a solid cloud and starts to think.

"Why did I put myself into this mess? I know Peach is of great use to me...but now I'm not even sure anymore..."



"And if I'm right, either Mario or Link will be after me...that or both...plus Bowser. A trifecta of irritaion..."

Ganondorf starts to get mad then thought again, "And yet...Peach didn't run the second time...is this trust at work?"

He crosses his arms and paused from the thought, calming down.

He starts to uncross them, a minute later, then thought with a smirk, "I helped her...she's helping me...just as planned"



He then runs off to find the princess.

Did you notice that Ganon was looking around in those last two pics? I thought that was a great effect like he's thinking, or trying to think, of something

I'm trying make it funny too. Not sure if I'm doing it right though...


Princess Peach looks over the clouds trying her best, not only to get to the ground safely, but look out for danger.



"I can't believe I got stuck up here," she thought, "That and I'm surprised I'm not injured..."

As Peach continued to climb down, she started to remember, once again, Ganondorf helping her.

"Why...is he helping me?" she thought, "I know he wants me for something...I've been through this before...but what is it?"

She started to reach solid ground and she looks out into the distance.

"Wow...It's so beautiful..." she said aloud.



She started to think about Mario at this point and thought, "I wonder if Mario is looking for me? And if he is...where could he be?"

Peach continued down and finally to safe ground and looks around.

"This brings back memories..." she thought, as she looked out at the horizon.



"I wonder how far I'll go this time?" Peach thought.

"Peach!" a voice was heard.

She turns, walks down the path a little and was surprised to see Ganondorf running toward her, unharmed.



"Ganondorf? Where were you?" Peach asked.

"Long story. How long have you been here?" he asked.

"I just got here. Would you believe I was in Skyworld?"

"I believe it. I got stuck up there too."

"What? Any trouble?"

"Well...I did have to...'convince' angel boy to let me down here..."

"You mean Pit? You better not have harmed him!" Peach said in anger.

"I didn't. I knew I'd be staying up there if I tried to do such a thing," Ganondorf said calmly.

Peach thinks and said, "I hope he's OK, that's all I can say."

She walks off.

Ganondorf shrugs and thought, "I can never catch a break..."

He then follows the princess.

Deep in a forest, Peach and Ganondorf continued down an old path.

The gerudo stops the princess in her tracks for the moment.



"What's wrong?" Peach asked.

"Shh! Listen!" Ganondorf quickly said.

They stay quiet as they hear what sounds like a motorcycle coming behind the duo.

When they turned, they saw Wario driving down the same path, thinking about riches.



He passed them for a moment, but he quickly snaps out of his trance and turns his bike around to take a second look.



"Well, looks like I found my prize," Wario said, still sitting in his bike.

"Ugh, Wario! What are you doing here?" Peach said in disgust.

"Oh...nothing...except, you're coming with me," he said.

"Forget it!" Ganondorf said, "You're with Bowser, I know it."

"What makes you think that?" Wario asked.

"Normally...you have no interest in princesses..." he points out, "But...you'll do anything for money."

Wario growls at this as the evil king struck the truth hard.

Ganondorf guards Peach and said, "She's with me, and I'm not letting you take her. Is that clear enough for your feeble brain to understand?"



"Oh it's clear...but, I'm not budging. Bowser said he'd give me a thousand coins for this."

This gave Peach an idea.

"Really? What if I payed you double to leave us alone?" Peach asked while stretching.

Ganondorf turns to her, unsure he heard right.



"Oh?" Wario said, gets off his bike and walks up, "You have the money?"

"Sure do," Peach said as she walked past Ganondorf, "So that's two thousand, right?"



Wario nods to this and Peach got out a bag with a jewels inside.

She gives two of them of a certain color to Wario.

"What are these? I like them, but what are they?" Wario asked.

"Those are Rupees...something I learned in Hyrule," Peach said, "Those two add up to two thousand."

"You pulling my leg?"

"No, go look it up.

Wario was still unsure, but goes back to his bike and pulls out a book under it's seat.

He quickly scans through it and his eyes widen when he saw the price.

"Well then...I'll be taking those beauties then," Wario said.

Peach quickly takes her hand away, and said, "You won't bother us again?"

"I won't even remember who you are!" he said, his greed taking over.

"Good," Peach said and hands over the goods.

Wario was panting when he saw the jewels, while Ganondorf rolls his eyes and shakes his head from disappointment.

Once in his hands, Wario gets on his bike and takes off.

"Smooth..." Ganondorf said, "But, I didn't know you use our currency."

"I don't," Peach said and hands over the bag to the gerudo.

She walks off and Ganondorf quickly realizes something.

He checks his pockets and noticed his rupee bag is missing.

"You little..." he said in annoyance.

Peach laughs and runs off.

Ganondorf sports a smirk and thought, "I didn't think she could do that."

He then runs after her.

"Any clues?" Mario asked.

"I got nothing..." Link said, "I hope the princess is alright."



"Don't worry, she a tough sucker. If she gets mad...look out!"

"I can't imagin her being mad," Link said and turns to Mario, "That doesn't sound like her."



"It is rare to see her that way, but there are times that even she can't take it anymore," Mario said.

"Boy...I'll have to be careful then."

"Like I said, it's rare so don't worry about it," Mario said and walks ahead a little.

Soft flapping was heard over head.

The duo jumps over the gap and is greeted by Pit.



"Pit! What are you doing here?" Link asked.

"I figured I'd find you guys," he said, "You're looking for Peach aren't you?"



"Yes we are. Do you know where she is?" Mario asked.

"Bad news...I think Ganondorf has her," Pit said.

"What?!" Link and Mario said.

"Hold on though...something's odd about this..."

"Odd?" Mario asked.

"What do you mean?" Link asked.

"Just as I said,'odd'. I heard shouting and saw both Peach and Ganondorf being sent flying from a storm. Later, I saw Ganondorf in Skyworld, knocked out. I stayed put until he came to."

"And?" Link asked.

"He was lost for starters. I thought he was going to do something so I gave a shout. He didn't want to fight at all."

"Not at all?" Mario asked in disbelief.

"He just dodged my attacks. When I asked about Peach, he admited that she was with him, something about that she owed him...but I'm not sure I believe it, but I let him go and tried to find you guys."

"Do you know where Ganondorf went?" Link said.

"Skyworld was flying over a forest at the time. He might be there."

"You want to join us then?" Mario asked, "Never hurts to have extra help."

"Why not?" Pit said, "Might bring back old memories."

Mario takes off his hat and said, "Well, welcome aboard."



Pit laughs and said, "Thanks."

As they headed deeper into the forest, light quickly started to fade and became harder to see for Ganondorf or Peach.

"Great...where do we go now?" Peach said.

"I heard there was an old mansion around here somewhere," Ganondorf said, "It shouldn't be far."

"A mansion?!" Peach asked, "That doesn't sound good..."

"Don't tell me you believe in ghosts...?" Ganondorf asked.

"I had my fair share of them," Peach said, "They give me a headache."

"You and me both."

"You have ghosts too?"

"I can control them if you want to know."

Peach got spooked by that.

Once at the mansion, they look around.



"Nice place," Ganondorf said, "I just might live here."

"I wouldn't..." Peach thought and walked ahead a little.

There was soon a scream from a man, making Peach jump.

"Mario!!!" a man's voice was heard.

"Luigi?" Peach asked in alarm.

They hear running footsteps heading for them and they both turn to see someone running at them.



"Ahh!!" Luigi yelped when he got in front of Ganondorf and thinking he was just another ghost he started to hit him.



"Yeow! You little-!" Ganondorf growled, then grabbed and lifted the Mario brother.



"S-s-sorry..." Luigi said, "I thought you were a ghost!"

"Ganondorf! Please! Put him down!" Peach shouted.

He growls a little then puts Luigi down.

Luigi ducks down in terror as if waiting for another negative predicament to happen.



"What are you doing here?" Peach asked.

"I got lost in the forest then I came here...and ghosts started to chase me all over the place!" Luigi said.

"Oh dear..." Peach said.

Ganondorf on the other hand rolled his eyes and thought, "Anything scares this guy..."

"Uh...why are you here?" Luigi asked.

"Same thing happened to us...well...minus the ghosts," Peach said.

"You're lucky...you have a big guard at your side."

"You do realize that that's Ganondorf right?" Peach asked.

"What...?" Luigi said, almost turning pale.

"Relax..." Ganondorf said, arms now folded, "Don't get me mad and you'll be fine."

"Oh...uh...right..." Luigi said starting to calm down though still a little scared of the gerudo.



"Why are you down this way anyway?" Peach asked.

"Well...I wanted a little adventure for myself so...here I am. Mario always goes somewhere exciting when he's alone and I want to fight my fears."

"Hmm...would you like to come with us then?" Peach asked.

"You got to be kidding me..." Ganondorf thought then said, "Are you sure about that?"

"I don't see why not," Peach said.

"He's going to mess up my plans..." Ganondorf thought again.

"I don't know princess...I'll only slow you down," Luigi said.

"Nonsense," Peach said, "We have all the time in the world. We are going to a castle tomorrow morning."

"Sounds great. It's a good thing I saw a bedroom for all three of us in here while I was running around..."

"Like a scalded cat mostly..." Ganondorf thought.

"I'll go see if I can find it," Luigi said then walks off.

Ganondorf growls a little from this change of event.



The gerudo turns to Peach and asked, "Why are letting him come with us? Bad enough, I have to worry about Bowser, but what if...green boy, gets himself in trouble too?"



"I know he'll be able to help us too. He saved Mario from ghosts years ago," Peach said then left to find Luigi.

"Like heck he will..." Ganondorf thought, then he became shocked when he heard the second part of the answer, ran after the princess and asked, "Wait...Did you say he saved Mario?"

Heh heh, there's more to Luigi than what meets the eye, dude. Nice job!

He'll discover that Luigi is what I call the 'brainy' brother later on. Then again, Ganon's a smart cookie himself...


"Grr...Not even a trace of a footprint!" Bowser said, looking down at the ground, near a cave, "Wario had better find Peach or I'll-"



"You there!" a voice was heard.

"Uh oh..." Bowser thought and got to his feet.

Pit flies in and lands in front of the koopa king.



"I'm not surprised you'd be here," Pit said.

"Well if it isn't the little cupid...I'm not in the mood," Bowser said.

Mario and Link run in and stop in their tracks.



"Mario!!" Bowser shouted in anger then saw Link with him and thought, "This is just great..."

"What are you doing here?" Mario asked.

"It's none of your business, plumber!"

"Sure it is," Link said, "I know you want Princess Peach."

"She's mine to begin with," Bowser sneered.

"Here we go again," Mario said rolling his eyes.

A moment later, a motor was heard and Wario rides in.

"Drat!" Wario thought, "I'm going to crash!"



Just as he thought he rammed into Bowser from behind.

Bowser roared in pain from the hit and turned.

"You clumsy oaf! I should grill you alive!!"

"Sorry!" Wario said on his hands and knees.



"Lets split," Link whispered to Pit and Mario, "We already know Ganondorf's way ahead of us."

They both nod and quietly walked into the cave.

Not paying attention to the trio, Bowser roars at Wario and asked, "What are you doing here?! I told you to get Peach for me!"

"I couldn't find them!" Wario lied.

"What do you mean?! I was going to pay you-Wait a minute..."

Bowser walks over and places his hand on Wario's head and pins him down.



"Hey! What are you doing?!" he shouted.

"Checking something...Ah ha...." Bowser said and shows Wario the two rupees.

"How did they get there?" Wario asked, and knew he was caught.

"Don't lie to me...Ganondorf payed you these to get rid of you!"

"He did not! Princess Peach did!" Wario said then covered his mouth.

Bowser roared again and ran after him, and lunged at him.

Wario managed to get out of the way and ran off as Bowser continued chase.

Man, that was funny!! ;D Wario's such a big mouth, isn't he?

This one is long, if not the longest one I've done.


"Ahh, it's nice to be out of that forest," Luigi said, looking around.



"I have to agree," Peach said.

Ganondorf said nothing at first, then asked, "Shall we head for the castle? We shouldn't be far now."

"In a hurry?" Peach asked.

"You don't want Bowser to catch up, do you?" the gerudo asked.

"Good point..."

"You're trying to get away from Bowser again?" Luigi asked.

"Pretty much," Peach said.

"I got this covered," Ganondorf said, punching his fist into his palm.



"So far so good," Peach said.

Elsewhere, Bowser continued to chase Wario onto an old bridge.



"He's faster then he looks!" Wario thought as he ran.

"Come back here you traitor!!" Bowser roared.

Once close enough, Bowser grabbed Wario.



"Let me go! I was-"

"An idiot? I already noticed from you!" Bowser cut him off and threw Wario.



Wario fell hard to the ground and was dazed.

Bowser walks over and gets ready to finish him off.



Wario managed to get to his feet and was ready when he saw something in the air above Bowser's head.



"Eh? What's that?" he thought then jumped at it.

He claps his hands together and the object shatter, sending a strange power into his body.



He lands on Bowser afterward giving him, literally, a pain in the neck.



"Get off!" Bowser said and threw him off.

The koopa king was then shocked at Wario's appearance making Wario say "What?"

"What is that glow?!" Bowser asked.

"Glow? Where?" Wario asked and looked around.

"I meant you, stupid! You are glowing!"

"I am? No wonder I feel a little stronger."



He goes into his pocket, finding a garlic bulb in it and said, "Oh, it must have gave me free lunch!"



"It?" Bowser asked, "What are you-?"

Wario ate the bulb and something happened as Wario turned into a flash of light.



When it faded, Wario gained a new wardrobe.

"What the?" Bowser said as he walked up.



"I'm a super hero!" Wario said with excitement, "I look good!"

"You look like something from a horror movie to me..." Bowser thought.

After a while, Wario turned back to normal.

"Drat! That was too short for my liking..." Wario moaned.

"OK...how in the world did you do that?" Bowser asked.

"I don't know...I just saw this round thing in the air and I tried to grab it."

"Round thing? Beside that, what's it look like?"

"Uh...Look up..."

Bowser does so and spots an orb.



"This thing?" he asked.

"That's the one," Wario said.

"Hmm..." Bowser thought, "This just might help me."

He then jumps and grabs it, making him have that same glow.

"Wow! I feel like I can take ten Marios!" Bowser said.



"Good luck with that," Wario thought.

"Lets see what this baby can do!" Bowser continued and focused.



This time the flash of light was a lot bigger and brighter then normal.

Wario was soon very scared and Bowser with a deepen voice in the shadows, "This will do nicely! Lets grab a few of these orbs and head out!"

"Y-yes sir," Wario said and ran off.

Ha, nice!

[ganondorf2]

"Wow...What a view," Peach said as she looked out.

"Come on, Peach, we don't have time for this," Ganondorf said, watching over her.



"I suppose you're right," Peach said, "You lead."

Ganondorf walks on ahead and Luigi whispers to the princess, "What's with him?"

"I think he's trying to do something with me and getting a little impatient," she whispers back, "Just keep an eye on him."

"Uh...yes, princess," Luigi said, nervously to this.



As they continued down the path, Ganondorf stops in front of an old entrance.



"This is it," he said, "This will take us to the castle."

"It's not haunted, I hope...?" Luigi asked.

"I don't think so. Ganondorf didn't say anything about that," Peach said.

"Stop being a coward," the gerudo said, "I've been here many times. If there is anything, it's going to run away when I step in."

"If you say so..." Luigi said.

Ganondorf sighed to that, but goes in anyway.

After a long walk, Ganondorf looks at ancient statues down a hallway with Luigi.



"This never gets old," Ganon said, "I've studied the Triforce for years. Now since Tabuu's defeat, I have to admit, I became interested in place."

"Why? Is it the age?" Luigi asked.

"I'm not sure to be honest. I feel like it means something...but what, I don't know. I read every book I could get my hands on."

"I read stuff like that too."

"Boy, you two make a match," Peach said to Ganondorf nearby, "I heard you read books like no tomorrow, but I didn't think it was true."

"Give me a break. I need quiet time too," the gerudo joked.

Bowser sneeks up on the princess as they converse.



Luigi spots the koopa king and shouts, "Behind you!"

Peach was quickly grabbed however, and Bowser runs past the duo afterword.

"After him!" Ganondorf yells then thinks, "If it isn't one thing, it's another!"

The younger Mario brother and the king of evil ran up a flight of stairs after Bowser.

Ganondorf and Luigi continued to give chase after the Koopa King.



They stop and look around as they lost track of both Bowser and Peach.

"Curse it!!" Ganondorf said in anger, "Where'd they go?!"

Luigi tugs at his cape a little, getting the gerudo's attention, and points up on the roof of the castle.

"Thanks," Ganondorf said, "You stay here."

Luigi watched as he jumps to the top of the castle.

"Why do I have a bad feeling about this?" Luigi thought and went to higher ground to see what's going on.

"Somebody want to lose a few more teeth?" Ganondorf asked, in anger, to Bowser.

"It's won't be mine," he said, with a smirk, "I have something new."

Ganondorf crossed his arms and asked, "Oh? And what would that be?"



"I found this while I was chasing a certain traitor of mine," Bowser said.

"Wario? He's too easy. Peach handled that like a pro," Ganondorf laughs.

Peach also laughs.

"Silence! I'll show you! Take a look at this!" Bowser said.

He pulls out an orb and it floats over his head.



"What the? Is this some sort of joke?" Ganondorf asked.

Luigi panics when he sees this and tries to tell him what it is, but the high winds muffle his cries.

Bowser smashes the orb and he starts to glow.



Ganondorf was alerted by this as well as Peach.

"Oh no..." Luigi said, "This is bad..."

Bowser focuses and a flash of light was seen.

Ganondorf shields his eyes from this and when it faded, he heard a monsterous roar and a scream from Peach.

He looks to see Bowser had transformed into an even bigger and more fearsome version of himself.



"How do you like this?" Bowser said, voice now deepened.

"What is this?!" Ganondorf asked, ready for anything.

"I call it a power up," he continued and layed down to Ganondorf's level.



Luigi was quickly terrified at this point and Peach ran to other side of the roof.

Bowser jumps down onto Ganondorf's platform almost making the gerudo fall off it.

The Koopa King then grabs and throws him away.



"Say 'Good night'!" Bowser said, and smashed his massive head into Ganondorf, with so much force it caused an explosion.

Ganondorf was sent flying hard and fast from this.



The demon king crashes through the castle walls, causing massive trama to his spine and the force causes him to go into his trophy state.

"Ganon!" Peach cried.

Bowser laughs and said, "Finally! He's out of my hair!"

I just want to say something...off topic. You know the Brawl website said they would be closing Smash Service on June 30th? Well, unfortunately, it's done as of today! The button to send stuff to Nintendo is missing from the game! I even reset it several times, and it still doesn't show up (How did they do that??)

Sadly, I've only used the Smash Service ONCE the whole time I had Brawl, and now I regret it, especially while taking pics for my story last night, I took a pic of something really cool! I'll post it in the picture thread whenever I can.
