Fanfic: Power of Choice

She can be a peace keeper. (I remembered the part with Shiek and Fox in SSBB) I also remembered that she can be nasty if she's angry.(DS game Super Princess Peach)


Peach was in high alert.

A large ape, named Donkey Kong, comes up to the princess making her sigh in relief.



"Thank goodness," Peach said, "For a moment, I thought it was Bowser."

She quickly got an idea from this.

"Oh! Maybe you can help me. I have a...friend that needs my help. He's very ill and I need to make something for him," Peach said, "I'm not asking for much."

DK nods to this and leads the way.

Peach follows him through the jungle.

Donkey Kong enters a small incove and there was a plant nearby.

"Is this it?" Peach asked.

He nods with a big grin.

"Great!" she said and takes bunches of the plant leaves.



"Thank you! I hope I see you soon!" Peach said and runs off.

DK waves then jumps back into the jungle canapy.

Peach manages to get to the shack just as the sun was about to set once more.



She checks Ganondorf's pulse once more.

"Grr...it's getting worse," she thought, "I hope this will help."

She mashes the leaves using a rock and a small plank of wood.

Peach looks at the gerudo again, then turns back again.

She uses another piece of wood like a sp00n, and scoops some of the now mashed plant.

The princess slowly and gently grabs and opens Ganondorf's mouth and made him swallow the medicene.

He coughs a little afterwards then starts to open his eyes.

"What?" he said, "What...was...that?"

"It's OK," Peach said, "I'm right here."

Ganondorf looks at her with tired eyes and asked, "You're helping me...? Normally...someone would...leave me...to die..."

"I'm not like them."

Peach placed her hand on the palm of his large one.

He looks at it and gently closes it, almost completely covering the hand.

Ganondorf then looks at the princess and shows this time a kind smile, something Peach never saw before with him.

"You think you'll be alright?" Peach asked.

"I'll give up...when Bowser...stops bothering you," he joked.

She laughs and said, "In other words, never."

"Pretty...much," he said and was about to laugh, but just doing that hurts.

"Relax," Peach said, "Do you want me to get you anything?"

"I'm not...sure," he said as pain is mostly blocking out hunger.

"I'll see if I can find anything," Peach said and left.

Ganondorf soon had second thoughts.

"She was used for so many things..." he thought, "And yet..."

He remembered what he said about choices to Lucario.

"Everyone has a choice..." Ganondorf said aloud, then fell asleep.

Elsewhere Bowser walks down on his own through the jungle, grumbling as he went.



"There must be a way to get through that stupid gerudo..." he said, "I'll never forget what he did to me."

He roars in anger just remembering when he was shot from behind by the Dark Canon.

"Instead of turning into a trophy, he should have been turned to dust!" he said with a snarl, "I'll tare him apart!!"

Dusk came to the jungle, and Bowser came to the shack Peach and Ganondorf were in.

"Huh? What's going on here?" he thought seeing shadows through the window.

He sees Peach leave and saying, "I'll be right back. Try to relax."

"Not that I can move," Ganondorf's voice was heard, "Take your time."

"He can't move?" Bowser thought as the princess failed to notice him and walk off.



"Is this my chance?" he thought again, "It's got to be! I can finally destroy that so called king!"

He sports a smile and approaches the shack.

Ganondorf was sleeping at the time, but he felt danger as something tensed up in his body.

He slowly opens one eye and spots the familiar spiked shell go by the window.

"Found me did you?" Ganondorf thought, "This is not a good time..."

He looks around the room then gets an idea, sports a smirk and thought, "Or maybe it is."

Oh boy...

Bowser goes to the door and quickly opens it, only to see nothing.

"What the? I heard his voice," he said and walked inside.

The only thing he sees is a note in Hylian.

Bowser walks over to it, takes it and tries to read it.

"I can never read this gibberish," he thought, "Hold on...there's something on the back..."

This time it read in english, 'Watch your back.'

"Watch my back? You trying to scare me or something, Ganon?" Bowser said aloud, then read the P.S., "Look up."

He does so and spots Ganondorf floating above his head, using his powers.

"Hello again," he said, sporting his evil smile.

"Oh crud..." Bowser moaned.

Meanwhile Peach was just getting back.



"That was a nice walk," she said then hears commotion in the shack.

"Yeow!" Bowser's voice was heard, "M-My leg!"

"Get out of my sight!" Ganondorf's voice was heard as well then the sound of a hard punch in contact with someone.

Suddenly Peach sees Bowser being sent flying out of the shack.



"At least I know Ganondorf's getting stronger," Peach thought and laughs too.

She enters the shack, surprising him.

"I didn't expect for you to be back so soon," he said.

"It's OK. I saw what happened. Tried to take you down did he?"

"Even though every bone in my body aches from this stupid illness...I still took him."

"You better get back in bed then," Peach said, "I got everything we need anyway from yesterday."

"Good enough," Ganondorf said.

Elsewhere, Bowser had landed at the edge of a lake.



"Beaten again...Why do I feel like I'm going against Mario?" he thought.

He gets up and sees that he's in deeper trouble then before as he was in front of a Dragon pokemon, Rayquaza.



It roars at him.

"Curse it!" Bowser said in horror, as it sent an attack at him.

The next morning, Peach woke up to see that Ganondorf had disappeared on her.

"Where'd you go?" she thought and went out.

She soon spots him, back turned to her looking out at the jungle.

"What are you doing?" Peach asked.

"I just need time to myself," Ganondorf said turning his head to her slightly, "Hey...uh, thanks for helping me."



"It's no problem," she said with a smile, "But if I may ask...Why didn't you want to admit you were sick in the first place? Trying to be tough?"

He paused then said, "In a way that's the reason, but not whole story. I lived in place where only the strong survive."

"What?"

"The desert...the hot of day could give you heat stroke, while at night you could freeze to death," Ganondorf starts, "But we had to keep moving...no matter what."

He turns to Peach completely and adds, "Anybody body that was ill...was left behind."



Peach gasps at this that he lived that way.

"At least I'm not like that," she said.

"I already noticed, but why? Seriuosly, why did you help me?"

"Well...I guess it's because you helped me...twice."

"Huh? From...?"

"Back at the Bridge of Eldin and...when it rained here."

Ganondorf said nothing to that, crossed his arms and thought for a moment.

Peach was about to walk off, but then turns a little and said, with a smile, "But I still owe you."

The gerudo looks at her and sports a smirk at this.



"Come on. Lets go," Ganondorf said

"Right," Peach said and lets him lead.

Things are going to get rougher later though. Two hero's are coming into the picture now and don't know what's going on.

Guess who they are?

Back at Hyrule Temple, Mario walks in to find Peach.



"I can understand Toadsworth's worry," he thought, "Three days she's been gone to see Hyrule Temple. I just wish he wouldn't get edgy about it..."

He looks around the area.



"Princess! Princess Peach!" Mario calls out, but gets nothing, and thought, "Not good..."

He quickly runs off to see if he can find any clues.



Hours later Mario comes to the bridge of Eldin and looks around.



"If Bowser has her again...I'll-Whoa!"

The thought was cut off when he came close to the broken bridge.



"What happened here?" Mario thought as he looked down.

He heard footsteps behind him and slowly turns around.



"Mario? Long time, no see," a voice is heard.

"Link! Nice to see you!" Mario said with a smile.



"What's going on?" Link asked.

"I'm looking for Peach. Have you seen her?"

"Yes. I took her out of Hyrule and she said she could handle the rest. Is everything OK?"

"She never came back."

"What? I hope nothing happened. She did tell me that Bowser and Ganondorf are after her."

"Bowser and Ganondorf?!" Mario asked in shock.

"Yeah. She managed to avoid both," Link said

"But for how long...? Take me to the area."

"OK, follow me," he said and ran ahead with Mario behind him.

Hours later, Mario and Link navigate over the bridge used to take Peach to the fields outside Hyrule.



"She's been gone for three days?" Link asked.

"I don't keep track. Toadsworth is the one who called me to see if she's alright," Mario said.

"You never catch a break, do you?"

"I don't mind. It just gives me an excuse to get out. Different every time too, even if it's just to help the princess again."

"Like to traval, huh?"

"Oh yes! Hey, who's that?"

The duo stop in front of pokemon Lucario, whom was focusing on it training.



"Lucario? What are you doing here?" Link asked.

"I wanted a change in my training so I came here," it said, not turning.

Mario thinks and asked, "How long have you been here?"

"About three days," it said, turning around now.



"If you don't mind me asking, but did you see anything odd?"

"Indeed."

"Like what?" Link asked.

"Your enemy, Ganondorf, went past here."

"What?! When?"

"The same day I came here."

"Three days ago..." Mario said, now starting to worry.

"I fought him and won, but he got past me using his wit. I didn't count on it."

Link turns to Mario and said, "I'm sorry, I should have stayed with her."



"Don't worry about it. We'll get her back," Mario said then asked the pokemon, "Which way did Ganondorf go?"

Lucario points with his paw and said, "He headed towards the jungle."



"The jungle? Peach headed that way," Link said.

"So he is after her," Mario said, "Let's go!"

"Right!" Link said and they both run off.



"Why do I have this feeling that the danger...isn't what they think?" Lucario thought.

Oh boy... I like it.

Peach knelt down to rest for a little while and again, Ganondorf watches her.



"Tell me about yourself," Peach asked.

"I rather not talk about it," Ganondorf said.

"That bad huh?"

He nods.

"Can I tell you about me then?" she asked.

At first, he wasn't sure, but then said, "OK, but this better be good.

"Don't worry it will," Peach said and started to talk to the gerudo.

As time went by, Ganondorf was getting more and more impressed by the princess.

"You're kidding...you had to save Mario?" he asked in disbelief.

"Pretty big twist huh?" she asked, "The only thing I had on hand was a parasal named Parry."

"Excuse me? A talking parasal...?"

"Toadsworth gave him to me when I was about to head for Vibe Island to help Mario."

"What was he like?"

"Pretty quiet sometimes, but he's great."

"I hope you gave Bowser a run for his money," Ganondorf said with a smirk.

"Oh I did. Remember those Homerun bats we use?" Peach asked.

"You mean?"

"Yep."

Ganondorf was about to laugh at this and said, "This is rich! I surprised he still goes after you!"

"So am I," Peach said in disappointment.

She then spots what looks like a cave entrance.



"I wonder what's in there?" she said

"Good eye. That will take us out of here," Ganondorf said and walks in.

Peach again, wasn't sure, but followed anyway.

If you never played Super Princess Peach, if you try it and beat it the first time, you'll see that she speaks the truth about her giving Bowser a homerun. ;D

lol! I don't think I'm interested in that game, though. I'm aiming to buy Pokemon Platinum someday, but I can't buy anything unless I find my dang wallet to see how much money I have. I know I have $150 from my birthday, as well as two checks from work (I'm currently waiting on my 3rd and final check), but I want to spend that money on a Japanese PS2, which I keep nagging my parents about, but I doubt they'll cave in anytime soon.

That doesn't stop me from trying, however.

I didn't know there was a Japanese PS2.



"Wow," Peach said, looking around the water filled cave, "Are you sure this will take us out of here?"

"Don't worry, it will," Ganondorf said, more focused on getting through.



As they walked through, the gerudo becomes curious now and asked, "I'm surprised you can traval this far. Was it because of your little adventure on this Vibe Island?"

"Oh no. I just play a lot of sports that's all," she said.

"Sports?"

"You know...Baseball, basketball...those things."

Ganondorf still didn't quite understand.

"You never played sports?" Peach asked.

"Why would I? Remember what I said?"

"Oh right...sorry. You should try one though."

"Isn't being in Smash Bros tournaments enough?"

"With me, it's never enough."

"I wonder about you..."

Peach laughs at this.

Ganondorf spots an exit out of the cave.

"Here we are," he said.

"Where will this take us?" Peach asked looking at the exit.



"There's an old boat through here," Ganondorf said, "Just tell me where you want to go and I'll use it to take us there."

Peach thought about it and said, "How about the old Battlefield Fortress?"

"Alright then, lets go."

Nice!! I'm not sure where you are, but how did you manage to get the angel like that in the last pic? Or what did you do?

Anyway, I meant the game system is coded depending on the region. The PS2, like the Wii, is region locked, so Japanese games won't work on an American console, or vise-versa.

I was at The Lake Shore for this one as for how I did this, I use the Gamecube controler and it's C-stick to make sure I got it centered.

I figured it was the disk. I looked around on Youtube and one guy had a Japanese Wii as well as a normal one.


Thanks to Ganondorf's magic, both he and the princess sailed off on the old ship.

"Ahh, just what I needed," Peach said as she started to get out her parasal, "I could use a little sun."



Ganondorf looked around and thought, "So far so good. Odd that she wants to go to the old castle. I was going to take her there in the first place."

He then felt something off however.

"Why do I feel dampness in the air?" he thought again and checks the boat.

The water hitting its sides wasn't even high, but the wind was getting weak.

"Hey Peach...do you see anything off?" Ganondorf asked.

"I'll check," she said, stands at the tip of the bow, and looks out.

Ganondorf stood by in case anything happens.



Peach was quickly alerted by something.

"What's wrong?" the gerudo king asked.

"Dark clouds...and the water's rough in the distance," she said.

The ship started to feel it early and almost made them both fall over.

Ganondorf started to turn when he heard even harder winds coming towards the duo.



"Oh great...Hang on!" Ganondorf shouted when he spotted the tornado.

They both grabbed hold of the ship's mast tightly as they got hit hard.

The ship took flight into the air, and was breaking apart.

"Don't let go!" Ganondorf shouted.

"I'm trying!" Peach shouted, but the winds were too strong and she was about to lose her grip.

She does and was quickly grabbed by Ganondorf by her wrist.

The wind was too much for him as well and he was stuggling to hold on to the princess and the mast.

Finally the ship could not take much more and became totaled.

Both Ganondorf and Peach were sent flying in different directions and disappear into the clouds...

More suspense? Yay, can't wait to see what happens.

Back in the jungle, Mario and Link had now entered and looks around.



"She could be anywhere," Mario said.

"Doesn't Donkey Kong live here?" Link asked.

"Yes he does. Lets hope he can tell us if he seen her."

"I never thought Ganondorf would be going after Peach."

"Nor I. I can see Bowser, but not him. I wonder what he's doing."

Link stops, turns to Mario and asked, "You think Ganondorf knows something about her that we don't?"



"I wouldn't be surprised," Mario said, "This happened before...three times."

"Three times?"

"Yeah. One case she was held then used as a host to a demon, the other as part a ceramony to end everything, and the other was using her voice to wake up a star to grant wishes."

"Geeze..."

"I know. I just hope it doesn't happen again."

Elsewhere in the Jungle...

"You want me to do what?" a voice of a gruff man, by the name of Wario, was heard.

"To get the princess away from Ganondorf," Bowser said.



"I'm not your servent," Wario said

"What if I pay you?" Bowser offered.

Wario's eyes lit up a little when he heard that and said, "Well...that might change things."

"I'll give you the money once I have her in my grip. Just don't fail me."

Bowser walks off.



"Heh heh, anything for cash," Wario said, liking the thought of riches again.

'One case she was held then used as a host to a demon,' = Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door(GCN)-last boss- Shadow Queen.

'the other as part a ceramony to end everything,' = Super Paper Mario(Wii)-right from the beginning

'and the other was using her voice to wake up a star to grant wishes.' = Mario and Luigi: Super Star Saga(GBA).

First her 'voice' was taken by the witch, Cackletta, to wake up a star called the Bean Star, but it didn't work. (Birdo was dressed up as her and took her place, don't ask me how... ) She was then taken, but she was tricked again...and if you played this game you'd be laughing your head off how she got tricked. ;D
