I hope they improve Kirby in the next game, although I kinda doubt they did.

I say they need to increase his speed a little, and a few better attacks, while keeping his copy ability.

He'd wear the bandanna that's on Snake's head.

When Kirby wears a bandana on his head, isn't he Fighter Kirby? What does he do, just punch people really fast?

I think it would be different than fighter Kirby.

Fighter Kirby wears a red bandanna not a black one.

And when he wears a blue one he throws people.
And if he wears a green one, he bites the pin off a grenade and throws the grenade

Are there any games you guys have made up or variations of Melee you play?
For example, I will sometimes play Tag with my friends. Basically whoever is It hits somebody else which makes them It, and whoever is It when time runs out loses.
Another fun one is King of the Rock. In the DK stage with the waterfall, there's a small rock over to the right of the main platform. Whoever is standing on it at the end wins.
Sometimes, as a variation, we turn on single-button mode, then everybody plays as somebody with a sword. That way every attack has to be delivered close up and it's a lot harder to save yourself.
So, do you guys play in any unusual ways?

Hey, you took my idea for the tag thing, except I called it Smash Tag.

I made one too!I call it "who hits the screen next?" we have a sudden death rally and we keep score on who hits the screen and whoever hits the screen the most wins.

A couple years ago, my younger brother and I were playing Melee, and we did something that was really fun, but dangerous. We turned on all the weapons, chose our favorite character, then the Mute City stage, and then we waited for the cars to come and try to blow every one of them up without getting hurt ourselves.
And also, I still do this, by the way, I chose coin mode, and then the same stage, which is Mute City, and tried to see who can get the most coins, even if it means getting run over by those on-coming cars.

I used to do something like that too. But because I don't have brothers or sisters, and not many people in my family can play my games, it's kind of hard playing by yourself.

Five months ago, when Yumi invited I and a few other friends over at her house, one of them brought a Gamecube over with Super Smash Brothers Melee. Some of us took turns playing because there was four controllers, and five of us. We played five vs matches, and I beat everyone four out of five times!! Of course, the one who brought her game over was also an expert gamer, but I beat her several times in that game!!
I even beat both my brothers several times. I only have two controllers, so we played at different times. My older brother, master gamer, gets beaten by his younger sister! I find that quite funny!
I've beaten almost everyone I've played, which pretty much explains why my nickname is The Melee Master! lol! Pommy suggested that I change it to Brawl Master when he e-mailed me about the message board, but I haven't played the game yet, so how can I be a master? And besides, I've grown attached to Melee Master anyway. I even have it as my global EZ Board name, except it has the number two, and my character is different. Well, she's the same person, but with a different look and personality, so many think that she is reincarnated, or that she is the same, no more and no less. Which is the truth is unknown at this time. I'll post the profile later as soon as I can come up with an explanation.

To me, both Melee and Brawl are the same thing, it's a fighting thing right?
When one my younger cousins plays Fox, I play Link or Ganondorf most of the time. They are skilled even if they don't play it much. The problem is one of them has a way of trying to make the other player mad, but then again, I get back at him with quick wit myself, so I sometimes win, sometimes lose.

Everytime my younger brother and I play Melee and I beat him, he always quits! And sometimes, he shuts the game off!!! And we argue about who gets to choose who and who gets to pick the stage. Everytime my older brothers plays me, he always picks a certain character, mainly Sheik, and he always use to beat me and my younger brother.
But since I've practiced, I've gotten better, and when he challenged me again, I beat him everytime!

Yeah, I've done same. I hated crowds, but loved one on one matches. Ganondorf is the opposite. I worked on his disadvantages and got better each and everyday....even against Fox!

I'm glad Brawl is going to have online play and is allowing us to use the GCN controlers to make it less confusing. I'd love to go against you....is if both our strength characters will show in it(namely Roy and Ganondorf).

Same with you and the others here!! I wonder if the game will allow people to choose who they want to fight with. Many people hate friend codes, so having that on the Revolution might not be possible, but I hope Nintendo finds another way.

Why wouldn't it allow you to choose your character? You can in Mario Kart vand Metroid Prime. And I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the friend code system will still be in use, which to be honest, I don't have a problem with. Friend codes make it easy to play against specific people when you want to, and I don't see what the big problem with them is.

Can you have different levels of these friend codes? Like Really good friends, and just friends that you've played against before that you randomly met, and enemies, lol, that would be cool. I'm not too clear on these friends codes.
