That too. GNC was the only place I found Gfuel recently. I'll have to ask if I can go back one day. Bottled Rolling Rock, I haven't been able to find anywhere anymore. I got sugar free Monster for free as my mom bought the wrong stuff for my brother, so I told her I'd take them. It's not bad. Tastes better than the regular stuff, but I like my Gfuel more.
Dogs are taken care of for the morning, I'll go back later to check on them. As my dad is out of state for a while, this will be a good week to plan my days and catch up on things that need it.

It shows up on my laptop as an external, but it won't open. Keeps saying it's corrupted and unreadable, even though I was able to use it before without issue. At least I gave it a shot. I'm gonna open my new external drive and make a 3rd backup of my other externals now that I have means to do so. So yeah, my 1st laptop works when it wants to, but I have no internet, so what's the point? Edit: well let's see how well broadband wired connection works with it since I have a new modem anyway. Edit: won't connect to broadband anymore. Nice... Me personally, I'd get rid of anything that needs an internet connection to work. Have whatever document program I use be the only app, and use it soley as an electronic typewriter. Just make sure you keep it in a thumb drive or something. We have yet to do our Christmas shopping, but I am NOT doing it during the holiday week! We're also going to our aunt's for Thanksgiving. We bought a couple pies this morning to take over there. So how's everyone doing? It's been quiet over here. |

That would be a good idea if I hadn't given up on writing as a whole. I mean roleplaying threads are one thing, but I just can't get myself to write fanfiction anymore. My focus has been fried ever since I moved, and it's not just because of interruptions. I don't know what's going on anymore. And that depends how much longer that laptop holds up. I'm going to my mom's for Thanksgiving since my dad will be out of town for a while longer. My landlord came back last night, so now I only have to check in on the dogs in the late morning.
Other than that, I'm doing OK.

I'm sitting here relaxing myself. Birthday was yesterday, I got cash money from family, and spent some of it on clothes I needed. The rest I'm saving for a rainy day.  |

I have $575 saved up after my mom gave me $40 Sunday. I decided I'm gonna wait until January before getting a PC after all, just in case I get one for Christmas, though I doubt it. And if I do, what do I do with the cash? Lol! Can't put it in the bank, so...

Thanks. And if you receive your goal item for free during Christmas, then keep the money stashed away and keep adding to it little by little. Save it for another item, or keep it as an emergency fund. That's what I'd do.

Emergency fund? Not a bad idea, but if it happens, I'll think about it then. Knowing me, I might go on a VS shopping spree and be met with buyers remorse soon after. Saving it all for a laptop though, I'm sure remorse won't exist because I realized after all my attempts of trying to get my PC's to work since my gaming PC died, I can't go without a PC to pick at.😑

Well, if you decide to spend it, don't flash it. Keep the wad at home for safety. Maybe have someone else, preferably a family member, buy the item for you, and then pay them back with the cash after getting home. Thievery is no joke, especially at this time of year.

Of course. I did that when I got my 1st Switch. I even have the cash amount down in my phone so that when I buy the laptop, I know how much I have to pay back whoever buys it for me. Probably gonna wind up being my dad for a few reasons...
-He owes me a PC anyway as him turning the breakers on and off fried my old one
-He knows how much cash I have and what I'm saving it for.
Personally, both my mom and I agree dad and the other landlord both owe me a computer, and they were supposed to have bought me one this month. Well, they're unreliable idiots, so I'm forced to save up to buy one myself.
And even if my dad does decide to buy me one, he'll force me to give him the cash wad in exchange, because that's what it was for to begin with. I'll be surprised if he doesn't ask for it, but I know he will.

I know the pilot light debacle is more important than a PC, but that's remedied by going to my dads to shower, and I can use my kettle if I need hot water for anything else. I'll still be glad once that's fixed, but the fact that it had to happen days before his trip pissed me off. Pissed my mom off, too, when I told her. If it were any other tenet, he'd delay the trip and be right in top of it...
Edit: bank is at $994.92 after the shopping trip the other day. I'll be trying to take precious time with my groceries this month...

In the meantime, I plan to get dinner pre-prepped by cutting up cabbage and thawing and cutting up chicken. Gonna have casserole tonight since I bought cabbage the other day. Been a while since I've had that.
Also heard some crows, or ravens, cawing loudly outside earlier. Went to my front yard and saw a big dead raven in my driveway! That's wild! I wonder if they attacked it or it just dropped dead.

Right, I forgot they do. They were out of camera shot, so I didn't see what happened. I thought they attacked it. Well, I took its body and tossed it in the backyard for my dogs to eat, but they don't seem interested.
