"He was behind us," Torial said.
The portal to the underwater base was no longer seen, making me uneasy until a smaller one opens up with the Unown flying out of it, Mono wasn't seen however.

The group of them look at Nova as he walked over to them. The one shaped like the letter M floats down to him giving him a chance to touch and get memories from it. Afterwards he slowly lowers his hand and said, "So long Mono..."
"He's gone?" I asked.
"He stayed back to fight those things off...he was dying anyway."
"From the curse? Shoot..."
Dell takes his hat and goggles off before placing him to his chest. He doesn't know Mono, but the fact it was a sacrifice to save someone, it was an honor.
"Thanks," I said trying not to cry.

"He is?" That caught Pit's attention before his wings drooped, "Oh no..."
"BUT..." Papyrus stuttered, "THERE HAD TO BE A WAY TO SAVE HIM! WE JUST-"
"There was nothing even we could've done, son," Gaster said with regret.
"BUT-" Papyrus turned to Alvis, "YOU HAVE FUTURESIGHT-WHATCHUMACALLIT? HE'S OK, RIGHT?"
Alvis shook his head and spoke sadly, "I did not 'see' anything, and even if I could see the danger, I cannot foresee one's ultimate fate. Even I did not know this would happen, and that is the limitation of my foresight."
"But if you could, would we have been able to save that life?" asked Palutena.
"Perhaps, but not in this case..."
"I sensed that his lifeforce was depleting anyway," said Viridi with regret, "so it wouldn't have mattered."

"I'm guessing these creatures belonged to him?" Dell asked looking at one of the Pokemon.
"They kept him alive as long as they could, but yeah," I said.
"I'll do him a favor then...I'll take care of them."
"All of them? Thats a big task."
"I had this same number of problems years ago. Not just on my work either. Besides...if things don't work one way, there's my old method...bridging in more gun."
"like that sentry you had? sorry we had to destroy it to get to you," Sans said.
"I can just build another. Not a big deal for me."
"Lets focus back on the creature that ran off," Ganondorf said, trying get things moving, picking up the doll of the cat that caused the problems, "Something about this toy, that made that creature appear."
"Something else is on his mind too," Nova thought as Dell puts his gear back on.
Said engineer soon wakes up to see three people that look alike, but he didn't say anything. Wasn't the first time anyway.

"Not to be rude or anything, but are you three related?" the engineer finally asked about Nova, Neutron and Ganondorf.
"We get that a lot," Nova said, "Kinda but not really."
"Fair enough for me."
"Odd, normally there'd be more questions after that answer," Neutron said.
"Trust me when I say, I can handle seeing double or in this case triple."
"How so?" Ganondorf asked, now curious.
"Well, we have a team mate that uses a device to disguise as another person."
"That's advanced, given the time," Nova said, "Though...awkward."
"Why do you say that?" Dell wondered.
A roar was heard inside the circus the creature ran into a moment later.

Another blast was heard inside it too, and this time, Ganon said, "My turn...My past has caught with with me though, I regret nothing of it, heh."
"I hate to know what..." I said.
"We are going to be caught in it either way..." Karson said as Raditz and Nappa talk with each other for a moment.
"We will see," the gerudo said, "It will be amusing if its the duo I know."
"Zelda and Link?" Nova asked
"Not to shock you, but no."

"Lets just say, that if they saw me, they won't be happy if not shocked I lived," he said. Gangrel was looking at a book to see what he was talking about when he heard, "Don't bother. They still hasn't got the whole story yet."
"How did you..." Nova's son asked.
"If you must know, I'm a lot older than I look. Thousands of years old. King Rauru and Queen Sonia were the rulers of Hyrule during that time...I still mock them even when defeated by Link."
"So those are the two...?" I asked.
"Correct. Just to see the look of horror on their faces will be more than enough to satisfy my amusement. You might be for a shock as well, mostly the king."
"He's not human...is he?" Nova asked.
"He is not."
Another blast was heard as well and this confused us.

"Me?" asked the clone, "All right, I think whatever is the highest priority."
"And what do YOU think is the highest priority?" asked Tikal.
"How should I know?"
"Trust your gut and stop relying on everyone else to answer for you."
"Excuse me?!"
"What do YOU believe is the highest priority?" Tikal hissed a little louder.
The clone sighs, "Fine, we'll deal with the trials first and get them out of the way! I'm sure Ganon can hold out a while longer."

"The second blast was to the right of us inside the tent so lets get moving," Nova said, making my team nod

Armstrong, Luke, and the clone walk past Tikal in preparation to follow, who stood still as he watches them leave.
"Won't be soon enough to handle this living hell," said Tikal, "If he really wants to make a name for himself, he needs to start contributing a little more and make his own decisions. Time that he receives a hefty dose of reality."
He takes out the trident weapon from the holster on his back and looks at it, recalling the moment when the Beast of Oblivion crushed Zephon's body to where it permanently incapacitated him, to the point where he himself requested a swift death, just to be released from the pain and uselessness, though Tikal wasn't there to witness that part, only having being told of it.
"Killing the clone now won't soothe my anger and regret anymore than it would bring you back. Even with a broken body, you lived up to your honor until the very end." he sighs, "Your copy, as reckless as he is and a product of my hesitation...still has much to learn about 'honor and sacrifice'." He put the weapon away, "I'll never be able to correct my mistake...but that clone wants to be separated from the original so bad? I want nothing more than that myself." he then smirked, "By blood, he's bound to his original, even I hate that, but attitude goes farther than one would think, as it was once said. It's time to see how much you can truly handle, boy. Hopefully this trial puts those words of yours to the ultimate test."
With that thought, Tikal took his leave to follow the group.

As we entered the tent, it was dark but some lights were still on. It was meant to be a space horror attraction. Heck, one of those jump scares got me, as even though it was just a board of an alien, still made me jump as I didn't expect it and said, "Guess they like to scare themselves too?"
"No different from us as well," Nova said before spotting the portal to test us.
"Go time," Peac0ck said.

Armstrong, Luke, Tikal, and the clone, all rush in and jump into the portal. All in which appear to be in a mining settlement with what looked like dead rusted equipment.
"Where the hell are we?" asked Armstrong, dusting himself off.
Tikal didn't say anything after composing himself. The area itself looked to be decaying with a slight fog surrounding it, but it wasn't thick enough to obscure anyone's vision. The mage then spoke up, "What the hell kind of test is this suppose to be?"
A shudder escaped Luke's lungs, "H-how? This is..."
The clone turns to him, "Something wrong?"
"I figured you would come here,"
The men turn to see a stranger in a black robe, the hood obscuring his face.

"You remember this place, right, Luke?" asked the robed one, ignoring everyone else, "Don't go back to your pathetic old ways now, unless you want to repeat history."
"What the hell are you talking about?" asked Armstrong.
"Better yet, let them see what you did!"
"N-no!" Luke shouted, "Stop!"
"Answer the question!" yelled Tikal, "Who are you?"
It was too late. A memory then appeared but was on the outside so that everyone could see; memories that Luke himself tried so hard to suppress all this time...
A voice was heard, which wasn't from anyone in the group, but a different man overall, "When I order you to release your power, you will open every fon slot in your body and unleash a hyperresonance. The trigger phrase will be..."
"SHUT UP!!!" Luke suddenly screamed, hoping to swipe away the memory, but it didn't work. It did, however, delay it.
"Is something the matter, LUKE?!" hissed the robed one.

Nova looks at Luke with concern before looking the hooded one with curiosity. See the young man must have done something that makes him have great regret, making him shout, "That's enough!!"
I worry for Luke at this point and was ready to help him as well some of my group.
