I slid to a stop after striking. A quick twirl of my sword and I stashed it away.
"How about that?" I ask without turning around.
The rest of my group looked on with astonishment, all except Brandon, who sported a small look of worry as he thought that was too easy of an accomplishment.

The body had a mind of it's own and moved out the way quickly, as well as grabbed the head.

After seeing the attack land the hit, Inuyasha lets out a mocking laugh, until he noticed the body moving, "What?!"

It lands on it's feet, then puts the head back on, healing quickly, and lets go, eyes opening once more, before, "Weak...Now you know how I took over my world."

He laughs again, and said, "That was fun. I wanted to see what you're like." He makes a portal behind him, his stomach healing at the same time and adds, "Too bad it has to end on a short note. Honestly, I was only playing with you, I would have killed you all with one blow, if I didn't need you." He was about to enter it when he said, "Be patient, and you'll see Zephon again, but it might not be a good thing when I'm finished."

"Not good," I said, then calms down and say, "Thanks Tikal. Shadow. Demise. That was hairy."

Tikal gives a nod, while Vormen and I turn to Ganondorf2. I spoke out, however, "Your welcome. Are you all right?"

"A little freaked out, but I felt that guy was toying with us. When he grabbed me, he wasn't even holding tight. He played us like fools," I then turned to the good clone, "Are you OK?"
"Am now. He made my powers go against me."

"Curse him..." hissed Tikal, then he turned around to see the cremation fire finally beginning to die down, making him sigh with a bit of defeat.

"It's not your fault, we all didn't expect it," I said, "You tried to help us too. You just wanted to make sure we're safe."
Ganondorf looks away, thinking now.

"I know...but..."
"Tikal, those demons are gone now, so don’t beat yourself up over this," said Brandon.
"I know, but Brandon-"
"Granted, we've lost a comrade, but he didn't die in vain. I thought you'd know that."
Tikal just kept his back turned against Brandon, staring out in the open and brushing off what he wanted to say. It was probably for the better anyway.
"It hurts...but we have to move on, for his sake."
"Yes," replied the mage, then he sighed, "once the fire dies, the ashes should be taken care of, to avoid another incident such as earlier."
"I agree, so would you like to help?"
"No. I've kept up to my promises, and done all I'm able. All that's left is for me to head back home."
"I was just thinking of doing the same thing later," said Brandon, then he turned to Vormen, "your father's still at my castle, so are you coming with me?"
"Of course," he replied, "after everything that's happened, I'm not letting my old man out of my sight."
A small chuckle was heard from Brandon, "Very well then."
"So, we won't see each other for a while," I stepped in, taking a guess.
Vormen stopped, so I assumed that my guess was right.

"If the danger's over, I guess I'll take my leave," said Inuyasha.
"Wait, you're not staying this time?" asked Melee Master.
"Nah, I've held you guys up long enough," he answered with a wave of his hand.
"I have to agree," Roy said, "with leaving myself, I mean."
A gentle sigh left her, "Well, all right."
"And what about you?" Inuyasha asked, "What do you plan to do?"
"...I don't know yet, to be honest with you. Haven't given it much thought."
((Assuming the RP's coming to a close, I mean.))

"And I will be there," he said to Ganondorf and Ganondorf2, "I truly am sorry for all the trouble those hell beasts have caused you all."
"Again, don't worry about it," I said.
Tikal then lets out a bow and says to us, "Thank you...so much."
The fire finally dies down, leaving nothing but charred wood, and ashes from the body. I kept my head turned away, not wanting it to be the last thing I see from a friend.

Ganondorf walks over to it, and snaps his fingers, making a flower appear and lays it on the ashes, before walking off himself with my team saying, "You will be avenged."
All, but Demise head back as he was thinking to himself.

Tikal finally decided to take his leave, walking away from the rest of us. Brandon and Vormen, after changing into their dragon forms, flew away from the area, until Jackie and I were the only dragon's left. Jackie changes back to his dragon form and begins to claw into the ground. I was puzzled at what he was doing, until I notice him making a small hole. Then, very carefully, he picks up the flower, pushes the ashes into the hole with his tail, and making sure he got every bit of it, moved the dirt back over it, gently placing the flower back on the new grave he had just made.
"That should be more proper than leaving him out in the open," I heard him say in my head.
I didn't speak, but turned to Melee's group, wondering what they were going to do next.

"Well, I know I'm no longer needed here," said Inuyasha.
"I guess it's our turn to part ways, then," said Melee.
"Keh, the next time I see you two, you've better have gotten stronger!"
"Excuse me??"
No answer as Inuyasha's eyes bled red, before changing back into his original form. Roy stepped back as he watched the demon dog leap over him and Melee Master, and disappearing out of sight.
The swordsman lets out a sigh, "He's still as c0cky as he always is."
"Tch," was Melee's only reply.
"I...guess I'll be seeing you, too, then."
She smiles, "Take care."
With a burst of flame from his sword, he changes into a fiery phoenix, and took off into the air, also disappearing from sight. After Melee Master was the last one of her group remaining, she turns to everyone else, but was at a loss of what to say.

"I don't care," she answered, but wasn't sure if Demise was directing the question at her or the others. She didn't move from her spot, either, as she wanted some time to think for just a moment.

Demise was quiet, until he saw a blur rush by the grave, a blue rose left behind on said grave, making him say, "What the?!" He walks over to the flower to look and noticed a note as well.
It reads, 'I'm not completely heartless. Even I feel sorry for your group. Become stronger in your goals, and you'll achieve greatness as well as save your loved ones. Anything is possible, if you have a positive attitude and you can make even the impossible, possible.' ~'Dark' Nova
"Interesting..."

She shook her head and changed into her secondary form, wings sprouting from her back.
"I don't care to know what that guy is thinking," she said in a cold tone, "but I do hope you all will be safe in the end. Hopefully...we'll see each other again someday. Take care everyone."
She then took off into the air and vanished out of sight.

I come back for a moment and asked Demise, "You coming?"
He thought for a moment and said, "I don't think so. I need to catch up with Aeon."
"OK, I hope to see you soon."
"Likewise to you, G2."
I leave him be, while the demon said to Shadow, "I hope to you again too. Maybe even soon." He spots a portal and said, "Ah, that must he Aeon. Take care Shadow." He walks into the portal and disappeared, the portal with it.

"See ya, I guess," I whisper. After watching them leave, it was my turn. I turn back around, shoving my hands into my pockets as I began to walk away, then I stopped to take one last look at the grave. I was still at a loss for more positive words, but was able to muster something.
"...Thank you...for all you were able to do."
I was both sad of the outcome, and relieved that this was all over. Without saying another word, I walked away from the area without glancing back, now eager for relaxation after facing this living hell.
It was said before: with mighty battles, sacrifices are usually made, sometimes with little to no other choices. Yet after what could be said to be one of the toughest battles everyone had faced, peace returned for the days that had followed after, at least until fate disrupts it yet again, and there was no telling just where and when it would happen.
For now, however, everyone deserved a bit of peace and quiet.
