I doubt Sonic or the others will be playable! I kinda hope they won't make it to Brawl, because I'm getting awfully f*cking tired of the rumors about those guys appearing in a Smash game. That got me to the point where I don't want him in the game perioid! I know it sounds stupid, but I just can't stand it! And Spawn?! I doubt it! However, I'd like to see some of the characters appear from Star Fox 2, the female dog named Fay Spaniel and that female cat named Miyu Lynx, but I really doubt that'll be possible! Something makes me doubt that they'll include characters from an unreleased game. But you never know, they disregarded the American audience when they decided to include Marth and Roy, maybe they'll start disregarding the whole audience and include whoever they darn well please. |

I still have my vote on Rukario replacing Mewtwo if he doesn't make it! Rukario is a really cool Pokemon! I've seen the new movie on YouTube, and despite it being in Japanese, it was pretty good!

My dream is that Nintendo would create a fighting game for anime and other third party characters, but I think they have to have the rights to them, as I read on a website earlier, that Sony came out with a game that has anime characters fighting each other. Nintendo can't have the game due to the number of copyright characters that are in it, like Naruto and Kenshin Himura. If Nintendo allows non-Nintendo characters to be in a game like a Smash game, then I hope that Inuyasha and Kenshin Himura would be in it.

While an a third-party fighting game would be cool, it would most likely be completely impractical. The amount of bureaucracy in coordinating the efforts of 20+ development companies, all of whom want to retain complete creative rights to their characters, would be astronomical. The only reason a game like Smash Bros is at all feasible is because the company soley responsible for the creation of the game, Nintendo, also possesses complete creative rights to all of the characters in the game (if I'm not mistaken).
I know, I'm a killjoy. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see a multi series anime fighting game. I just don't think it's ever going to happen.

You're right about that Foolishgrunt, but something just came to me. The people who make video games, Animes, etc do have the choice to ask to put characters in a game. Ex: Link and Spawn in Soul Calibur 2. In Brawl, same thing happened with Snake.
Also the Zelda and Fire Emblem characters have a Anime look don't they?
