Your welcome!
I had to make a movelist for spawn and zero, however the hardest one yet was zero.In Megaman X,his moves were in japenese like,"You Got:HYUKI TIYUGASHIGEI"or something like that, but I couldn't remember all of the moves or any of the japenese names.

I like the idea of Megaman or Zero being in the next game, although I doubt that would be possible. I kinda think Megaman would be a clone of Samus, however.

You are probably right on megaman being a clone.

Megaman would be pretty cool. I'm sure they would give hime his own fightig style and attacks, although I don't think both Megaman and Zero will be in the SSBB, just because the game is quite limited on third-party characters.

Yeah, but I think Nintendo should work on getting the Nintendo related characters in the game first before they start adding third party characters, just to make things easier for them.

The problem is that Megaman isn't a Nintendo character. He's owned by Capcom, which makes him just another 3rd party character. But as far as I know, Megaman has always been made on Nintendo consoles, so we at least know that Capcom is willing to work with Nintendo.
I've always thought that Megaman would be an awesome addition to the game. His character style may be similar to Samus, but if you've ever compared Megaman and Metroid games, you know that there are plenty of unique weapons that Megaman can use to keep him from appearing like a clone of Samus. So I don't think we have to worry about that.

If you ask me, Zero is meant to be in brawl just as much as spawn because he seems more of a fighter than megaman.Do not get me wrong megaman would be great for brawl, it is just that zero seems more deserving, to me.

No, Megaman is a Thrid Party character, meaning that he is not Nintendo-owned and not specifically liscensed for Nintendo Consoles, like Donkey Kong or Fox McCloud, which are Second-Party. There have been many Megaman games for Sony consoles. I doubt Megaman would be a clone of Samus because the special attacks could not be the same, except for the Charge Shot/Buster Cannon. The controls/movements would also, if done correctly, feel completely different.
I feel like soon enough we're going to be seeing a fair share of Third-Party characters, as Nintendo seems to be running low on original characters. See: Dr. Mario.

There have been many Megaman games for Sony consoles. I guess I should have made myself more clear. Even though Megaman games have been made for other consoles, Capcom has been making game for Nintendo systems the whole time. In fact, the very first Megaman game was an NES exclusive. And even when they started making the games on Sony consoles, they didn't stop making them for Nintendo consoles. That was my point. What about King Dedede? Ganon(the monster)? Fierce Deity Link? Toad? Waluigi? Daisy? Hammer Bros?(just to list a few) The problem I have with those is that they're all very minor characters. The Hammer Bros haven't ever played a major part in a Mario game. Monster Ganon appeared for one fight scene in Ocarina of Time. Dedede is a random character who happens to play the bad guy in Kirby's DreamLand; let's face it, that game doesn't even have a legible storyline. I think I would have a serious problem with Nintendo if they started using every "character" that ever appeared in a Nintendo game. I agree with vegjr. They do seem to be running out of good Nintendo-exculsive characters to use in SSB.

Yeah, I agree with Foolishgrunt that some of those are very minor characters. That would be like making a koopa a playable character. The move list would be lacking. Nintendo should add them into SSBB as just enemies (like koopa troopa, paratroopa, octorok, redead, etc from SSBM). I think Dedede would be a good addition to the game... I'm not sure what all his moves would be, but as long as they don't overlap with Kirby's and Nintendo can come up with enough unique ones, that would be pretty cool. Dedede has appeared in alomost all Kirby games, if not all of them. And I don't know about you, but Nintendo running out of characters? For a company to have 25 all star characters to be able to put into Melee, that's pretty good; not many other companies can do that. Not to mention that fans are sending tons of ideas for other Nintendo characters they'd like to see. I'm sure there are a few old games for NES or Gameboy that have some popular characters that maybe we haen't paid much attention to. Also there are some new Wii chracters that Nintendo's coming up with that might make an appearance. For example, there were Animal Crossing trophies in SSBM, even before we knew of the game. And Characters like Ice Climbers and Mr. Game & Watch would probably have not been expected to appear in SSBM cause they're not as well known. Marth and Roy as well came from Japan, and made their first appearance in SSBM, and now they have a bunch of Fire Emblem games out. I'm sure there are some characters we haven't seen in North America that could be added. So it may seem that Nintendo is running out of characters because people are always looking to add more characters from games that already have characters in Smash Bros. if you know what I mean. They have to take a much broader look and try to take in one or two characters from each franchise. I sugegst we put together our own list of all the possible Brawl characters that could be in the game, and we'll cross them off and add them in as more people continue the list. So lets see.... Mario | Link | Pikachu | Kirby | Samus | Wario | Pit | Snake | Meta Knight | Zero Suit Samus | Bowser Junior | Ridley | Windwaker Link | Donkey Kong | Diddy Kong | Yoshi | Peach | Zelda/Sheik | Capt. Falcon | Fox | Ness | Mewtwo | Bowser | Luigi | Ganondorf | Lyndis (Fire Emblem) | Dedede | Megaman | Sonic | Some Final Fantasy Character |
(This is just based on what we know, rumours, and a bit of what I'd like to see. Add to the list by 'quoting' only the table and adding your own ideas to it.)

Post by Pommy17 on Jul 13, 2006 21:36:58 GMT -5
Hmmm, click the 'quote' button on the top-right of my post. That should open a page with a large paragraph surrounded by the quote tags which looke like: [ quote ] (in the square brackets) So, just delete everything except for the part surrounded by the table tag ([ table ]). Then, within the table tags, it's [ td ] (type stuff here)[ / td] for new columns, and [ tr ] (put 5 [ td ][/ td ] tags in here) [ / tr] for new rows. Remmeber to remove the spaces in the tags. Hope that's clear, lol.
