Edit: Nevermind! I finally fixed it!!! The Intel Graphics Controller just needed to be replaced with a different version!
Edit #2: I received a new computer today, so please disregard this topic.

Maybe you downloaded something you shouldn't have. I don't think you can fix the problem without formatting and/or losing something in return.
I...can't remember if I've ever dealt with something like that, but then why does it sound familiar? I'll try to find some answers for you, but I can't make any promises.

I've downloaded a bunch of stuff the past couple years, and I had no problems then. I think it was that faulty Photoshop my older brother got for me. Either that, or he must've done something when he used my computer for something. Whatever the problem is, I can't figure it out and I can't find a way to fix it as of yet!

Ok, according to most of the answers on Yahoo Answers, the glitches are sometimes caused by a Video/Graphics Card issue. You might need a new one, but I should warn you; they're very expensive, about $100 or more, so unless you have the money, buying a new graphics card should be a last resort!

I think buying a new computer should be a last resort, but I believe my parents are gonna get me a new one for Christmas anyway, (I've been nagging and nagging about wanting a laptop instead, but they're way too expensive, and unlike last year, they're only gonna spend $500 on Christmas this year! Last year, it was literally almost a thousand due to the DVD's, games, and the new game systems that came out) since I've been complaining about problems a year after I received it. I guess it had something to do with all the junk I downloaded in the past, but I got rid of all the old stuff a while ago, and I run spyware and anti-virus programs on my computer every month as well. Anyway, I went to Device Manager, and the Video Controller has an exclamation mark beside it. I think that might be the problem, but it says it needs an Installation Disk to continue, and I don’t I have one around. I may have had my computer for almost six years, but I'm no expert, so I'm at a blank state when it comes to technical issues.
