The Price of Revenge: A Bloodstained History {closed temp}

[The Melee Master]

Melee Master had her hand gripping the hilt of her sword, but kept herself from drawing it, wondering if Tikal was here to fight, or what. She, too, kept an eye out in case of possible ambushes, but then after seeing the dragons attack the enemies, she decides to get in on the action. Wings appear from her back before she took off from the ground, sword drawn, and swipes a blue light at the oncoming enemies as well.

"Go!" Maxwell said to Kain.

"Mesima clan! Attack!" he shouts and dragons appear out of the clouds all firing different attacks at Archion's team.

Nova the changed into his demon king form as this was happening and got out his two handed swords walking toward Zagan.

[Shadow Dragon]

The enemies in the path of Melee's sword attack were taken out and knocked from the sky. A wyvern flies in behind her, attempting to snatch her in it's claws, before being taken out by Kyle as he clamps down on the wyvern with his jaws, and throws it away. The enemies in the path of Kain's attacks were struck down as well, all falling out of the sky and hitting the ground hard, killing even those that survived the attack.

Zagan sees Nova approach him, gripping his staff in hand and taking interest in his demon king look.

"Not bad huh?" he asked arms out, "This came with the dragon form as well. Made me worry for a moment, but as I was made to do, I adapted," He lowers them again, blades tight in hand, "Sadly for you, I adapt fast. So do as you will to me, if you dare it. At least before our dark dragon appears."

[Shadow Dragon]

Tikal remains out of the way, watching the battle with interest, or was it boredom? It was hard to tell with his dragon face unable to convey much emotion, but even with a quick battle like this, boredom finally struck him anyway. His voice resonates in the clan's heads, "I've seen enough. Call off your men."

The leaders turn to him, Archion speaking, "What? But we've barely begun."

"You've proven my suspicions even with a quick demonstration," he said, "now call off your godd**n men!"

Archion noticed a change in Tikal's demeanor, but before he could speak of it, he decides to go along with it and yells, "Enough! Fall back!"

"Do the same!" Kain said and the clan backs off, but watches.

Nova watches this play out, acting like he got distracted from this change and asked, "Bored already? Sorry we didn't give you what you are looking for."

"I was getting that way myself," Maxwell said, with a little bit of mocking.

[Shadow Dragon]

The knights backed off and ran back to their leaders.

"No wonder you are bested by these so called weaklings." Tikal continued, a dark aura slowly rising from his body.

"We barely had time to prepare, you know," said Amalyth.

"Your excuses are tiring...!" the aura flourishes from him and was sent out, killing the rest of Archion's men, even the ones that were forced to stop attacking, but sparing him and the other leaders, as well as Aurora. The wave vanishes, and in the dragon's place, stood a man with long red hair and with a staff weapon strapped to his back.

"Whoa!" said Brian and Ed, both landing on the ground and returning to their human forms.

Zali looks at him with interest.

Archion immediately recognized the man, "You...!"

"I've seen all I need," Tikal slowly walks forward as the dark aura trails from his body, "vengeance outweighs any and all rational thought I assumed you had. That's why your attempts to overthrow your enemies always end in failure. That's why your new men didn't listen to your orders. Every.single.one of you revenge seekers are all the same."

"Who the hell are you, really?" hissed Amalyth, "A spy?! Speak now! What have you done with the great dragon?!"

"And if I were you, I'd be ashamed to be called historians when clearly you don't know the legend as well as you think you do," Tikal drew out his weapon and swings it down as the darkness fades, fully revealing his form.

Samantha gasped as she recognized him, "So...that wasn't Vincet! It was you! You're the one who saved me!"

"Wait, what?!" asked Kyle, turning to the draconess.

"Samantha?" Zali questioned.

"Back at the fortress!" she said, "He shoved me aside to save me from falling concrete!"

Tikal smirks to confirm Samantha's words.

"What kind of game are you playing?" asked Archion to Tikal, "Answer Tikal! What is the meaning of this?"

Nova just crosses his arms and laughed to the confusion. Maxwell did the same.

The pokemon in the sky watches and waits for another order as I walk out and stayed at the edge of fortress.

Athena waits this out as well, still hopeful this will stop.

[Shadow Dragon]

"Your ignorance is no longer humorous to me," Tikal eyed Archion, "you are not the mighty vampire historian you claim to be, or you'd realize that the great dragon you covet does not exist."

This surprises the gang, Tristan and Kyle shouting, "What?!!"

"Uh, I'm sorry, what do you mean?" asked Brian.

Even Vincet was surprised by this reveal. Zali, Haku, and Zelos, on the other hand, made no reaction, showing that they knew all along.

"I tire of hiding from those who have nothing better to do with their lives than to seek to end mine, let alone from those who refuse to concede when he knows he's been beaten don't deserve power even from a legend, real or false," he closes his eyes and sighs, "dragons tend to be more merciful, but a MAGE isn't that nice."

Archion stood staring at Tikal for a moment before figuring it out, "A mage...? I thought the scent of your blood was that of man, along with your residence containing sources of proof," he remembers seeing paintings of portraits in the castle, "but I was willing to overlook it f it meant having use of your power."

Brandon sneered, sensing the vampire's lie and corrected him, "No. You knew the whole time."

"Heh," Archion didn't bother to hide it as he confirmed Brandon's words, "next time, don't attempt to fool one who looks deep into historical lore," Archion swung his sword down, "even dragons of half-blood descent are good actors too. All we sought from you was your power anyway."

"And that is your ultimate mistake. The time of secrecy with me had long passed-" the mage's nose wrinkled as his teeth bared into a snarl, raising his head and eyes snapping open, "-and your pointless little game of revenge has been drawn out long enough!"

"Tell me what to do, old friend," Ganondorf said, getting ready before showing sparks from his body to show his power.

Maxwell took out a blade of his own and said, eyeing Archion, "Get with the times. You should have studied us more then just winging it, but it seems your lust for revenge has blinded you."

"Don't stand down yet everyone..." the clone said as Rayquaza roared,

"Whatever you can to put a stop to this clan once and for all," Tikal told Ganondorf.

I nod, "We'll catch up after we take care of them,"

Haku sighs to us as he suspected, "So...you all knew the whole time?"

"Not at first. We found out during that demon debacle, actually."

"I just said the time of secrecy had passed," said Tikal, not taking his eyes off the clan, "Get with the program, Haku,"

"You'd also realize this after knowing that magic has no effect on dragons!" Zelos called out, revealing that he knew Tikal's true nature the whole time.

"YOU knew? For how long?!" I question him in surprise.

"Since after the battle with him and Haku," Zelos admitted, "his powers gave it away. I've seen mages with the same type Tikal possesses, and every dragon I've ever seen don't posses it either." he sighs, "And after Haku found out I knew, he made me keep my mouth shut until now."

A dark aura flourished from Tikal's weapon as he and the draconic gang were ready to take on the clan leaders, who eyed everyone that faced them.

"I know what will take down a dragon. Athena if you please," Ganondorf said

"Which one?" she asked.

"Tinkaton."

She makes a smile and calls her to hear her cry out and jump down in front of the dragon, giant hammer in hand and ready to fight.

Another roar was heard as a dark pool appeared on the ground and dark dragon appeared out of it.

"Wait," I said, "are you sure Pokemon typings apply in this world with different dragons?"

"Won't hurt to try," said Zali.

Tikal didn't hesitate as he throws his dark infused weapon at Zagan, who counters it with a bolt of lightning, rendering the weapon harmless as it clatters to the ground.

"Now say, Gigaton Hammer to her," Ganondorf quietly said.

"OK, Tikaton! Gigaton Hammer on Zagan!" Athena said.

"Ton!" she cried out and she showed that the weapon can change size as it got bigger as it was lifted and the pokemon quickly swung downwards with it at the man.

The clone was ready just in case things go wrong

Zagan was ready for it before he was shoved out of the way. He crashes to the ground, and as he regain senses, he sees Amalyth laying over top of him, with both escaping injury. Amalyth got off Zagan and helped him up.

"Cute," said Tikal, "but even as family, you lot will not be forgiven."

A hiss escapes Amalyth's lips at Tikaton, angry that she had almost lost her uncle to a pink cutesy monster. She takes her naginata and attempts to spear the Pokemon. Tikal rushes in and grabs his weapon right before Archion impales his sword into the ground, missing Tikal.

"Not bad," Archion spoke, taking his sword back, "so you WERE holding out on us."

An icicle was shot, cutting into Archion's cheek. He turns to see Haku having a hand out. Haku summons more water, turning it into sharp icicles, and fires them at the draconic vampire, who swipes them away with his sword. A red aura surrounds Archion's claws, and with one swing, he throws the electrical charge at Haku.

The river spirit dodges by rolling, only for the charge to now head to Melee Master.

[The Melee Master]

Melee Master holds her sword in front of her as a blue aura surrounds it, hoping it would be enough to hold the attack back.

That's when a portal out of nowhere opens up, and a figure rushes out. With a shout, he attempts to counter the attack by whipping out what what looked like a chain with a spike ball attacked at the end, directly at the blast.

It left a crater, to show it could have killed them too.

"I hate to tell them a blade won't work well against Tinkaton...she's a steel type..." I whispered to myself.

"Giratina. Use Phantom Force," Ganondorf said and the dragon disappears for a moment.

Maxwell charges at Zagan and Amalyth now, blade at the ready.

The attack turned out to be weaker than it appeared as it dissipated from the weapon the man used. Surprised by the sudden intrusion, Archion withdrew his hand and looked at the mystery stranger.

"Fresh meat, huh?" Amalyth asked, "Where the hell did you come from?"

"Yeow!" said Tristan, "Nice save, stranger!"

Zagan glares at the newcomer, "Anyone that opposes us will not be allowed to live." He then sees Maxwell charge at him and Amalyth. The two stand be each other, weapons drawn, and both charge at Maxwell.

Archion now focuses his attention at the mystery person, "And you are...?"

[The Melee Master]

Said stranger stepped up, retracting his weapon, "Someone who will ensure you don't get your way, demons!"

Melee blinked in surprise before relaxing her arm, making the tip of the sword touch the ground. She doesn't know the stranger, but could tell he's done his fair share of battles and was well prepared for this one.

((I don't think he has a personality, so I'll make one up.))

Nova got worried right away, knowing the man and said, before joining the dragon in the fight, "I won't stop you."

Maxwell sees this and said, "Fine, you may aide me."

He smirks to this before running ahead and swinging fast and wide at the two.

That's when the Giratina reappears behind Archion like a ghost before staring him down.

[Shadow Dragon]

{Up to you!}

"Just another nuisance standing in our way," said Archion to the stranger, "or are you a man looking to make a name for himself?" He then turns around to see Giratina staring him down, making him back off.

Aurora growls at both the stranger and Giratina, before deciding to lunge at the human stranger, jaws wide open.

[The Melee Master]

The stranger throws what looked like a blue cross boomerang at Aurora.

That's when the air in front of the group began to waiver. A golden light shined, and out stepped another man, but he kept himself away from the battle for now, silently watching it play out.

"I knew sending him in to help out was a good idea," he said to himself, "nothing like a fresh batch of vampires to rekindle his fight for peace, although in this case, it's necessary considering future consequences must they win."

Aurora is hit in the face with the boomerang, only causing her to be annoyed by the attack. Arching her back like a cat, she opens her jaws wide and shoots out a blast of green fire at the whip wielding stranger.

Zali senses another person around, but was unable to locate them. Archion and Zagan turn their attention back to the others, however, with the former secretly sneaking away for now. Zagan creates a bolt of lightning and shoots it down at everyone on the battlefield, including the new person that just attacked Aurora.

Giratina used Phantom Force causing an explosion of fire and darkness at Archion, seeing him trying to sneak away.

"Please tell me, you told him about me," Ganondorf said, not knowing him and got nervous real fast.

That's when Sableye appears near Zagan and threatens to bite his staff into pieces.

Athena had to think before she sees her old friend fly over and land, saying, "It's over Archion. Please, stop this madness."

Ganondorf makes his trident appear and thrusts it into the air to nullify the strength of the bolts.

[The Melee Master]

((He's the only one I had planned to bring back, so no worries on my end.))

"Never you fear, I am two steps ahead," said the man to Ganondorf.

The man with the chain whip dodges the attack from Aurora, "Saint Germain, when you told me vampire dragons, I didn't think you meant actual dragons in the mix, too!"

"Always expect the unexpected, my friend," was the only answer he gave.

The stranger sees the lightning about to hit him when he tries to use a bubble shield to protect himself.

"Can't have that!" Saint Germain attempts to stop time to stop the lightning attack, while making sure everyone was aware and not stopped by time, and yes, that included the opponents they were facing. He wanted to have a stern talk with them, too, anyway.

[Shadow Dragon]

The attacks were stopped as if frozen in time. The clan leaders look around in confusion before turning to Germain, Amalyth asking, "Is this your doing?"

"Holy crud!" Brian looked around with amazement.

"Hm," Tikal smirks, "not bad. You're a time keeper, I assume?"

"What?" I question, "Really?"

"Wait...another one?" I asked.

"Huh, didn't think there were two time keepers," Nova honestly said.

"Was I lied to?" Maxwell said, "I only know the one."

"I'm confused," Athena said to this.

[The Melee Master]

"That is correct, Tikal," he replied, "and might I add, excellent guess."

"You know these people?" asked the whip wielding blond.

"I have been observing their plight for peace for some time, and felt the need to step in."

"With all due respect...Saint Germain, he said?" said Melee Master to Germain, "We really could've used your help a while ago, if you were really watching."

"I do apologize," said Saint Germain, "while I am aware of your recent loss, there are some aspects that even I'm unable to assist with...at least for now."

She sighs, "And I suppose you're not going to give a reason why either?" she then notices the other blond with the chain weapon, "And you are...?"

"Don't mind me," said the blond, "Saint Germain already got me up to speed. Name's Simon Belmont, everyone,"

"Simon here was a part of the recent Smash Tournaments, and a renowned vampire hunter, so naturally, I figured he'd prove to be a great help with your cause."

"And you just happen to decide that on your own without consulting us first...?" Melee asked, sounding annoyed.

"Melee...you should know that the enemy might listen in right?" Nova said then thought of something before turning to Simon, "Maybe you can help my friend too. If you have the time of course after this."

Maxwell growls a little...THE Simon Belmont...not good for him. Hopefully he won't be hunted.

[Shadow Dragon]

"Well, actually Melee," I told her, "we could use more people to help, even another time keeper. Don't be picky."

"And a vampire hunter at that?" Zali agreed, "Not a bad idea, although how would you go about a vampire who is also part dragon, Mr Belmont?"

"Hey idiots," Ed chimed in, "the enemy is still here and can hear every word you say..."

The opponents, however, were unphased by whatever was going on. To stop a battle just to have a chit-chat with someone??

"Madness, you say?" hissed Archion, then to Germain, "Your interference is going to cost you greatly!!" he charges and swings his sword at him.
