"Better then meeting up with the original holders," Nova said, "That would get messy. Ours are copies of the same relic, but at least it doesn't have one thing..."

"That is?" Kain asked.

"Making wishes. Only one can be done, but that can make or break and thankfully, we can't do that."

[Shadow Dragon]

"Thank goodness for that, I guess," said Tristan.

"A very good one," I said, "Have a very bad feeling right now too..."

"I sense it as well," Ganondorf said, "What...I have no idea yet. Ridely had better be careful."

[Shadow Dragon]

Meanwhile at the clan's fortress, the group were busy making preparations of their own. Archion was standing out on a balcony of his fortress as a gust of wind began to pick up. The clouds above gave no peaceful greeting as a bolt of lightning lit up the gray sky.

"Preparations are complete," he hears Zagan as the winged man walks from behind him, "the army is ready for sendoff."

"And what of Tikal?" asked the half-vampire.

"He hasn't returned."

Archion sneers at the news as he grips the railing with his claw.

"Lord Archion, those pests are going to want their own revenge against us," said Zagan, "so what do you suppose we do?"

"That human was nothing short of collateral damage, but clearly, even human life holds something of value to those dragons. Quite an odd bunch, and yet-" Archion then smirked, "-things are going to get interesting."

"If they seek revenge for a mere mortal, they'll be the first to show themselves to us," said Amalyth.

"If that's that case, prepare for a fight. They may want us dead this time, so don't hold back on them either," the leader then said, "If you must...kill them, but spare the prince."

The light darkened a bit as a giant shadow loomed over the fortress. Tikal was seen hovering in the sky. Archion looks up to see him, "You're late,"

Tikal looked down at the leaders but didn't reply.

"We're heading out," said Archion to the legendary, "do what you must to prepare, then meet with us at the planned location. I grant you permission to kill anyone that gets in your way this time, but the prince is mine. Remember that."

As Archion leaves the balcony and back into the castle, a gentle snarl escaped Tikal's throat as he flies into the dark clouds and disappeared.

This nonsense had gone on long enough.

Ridely, a fellow clone that was listening in carefully takes off as this was happening.

"Lets take this one step at a time at least and keep our anger to a minim," Ganondorf said, "The only thing we have left human wise is you G2...Ayden, best you stay in the castle."

"Fine," he said.

"With me in a state that I can't change into anything might be a problem, yes," I admit.

"To that, Kain, you will be in the lines with your gang," the clone said, "And with Maxwell, like it or not."

"Of course..." the dragon said the demon dragon smirking.

"No promises," said Ed about the anger.

"Ed, please," Zali agreed with Ganondorf.

"I recommend you stay out of this, too, Vincet," Haku told the ex-clan member.

Vincet didn't have it in him to argue with anyone over the matter. He was virtually defenseless anyway as a thief's weapons will only get him so far, especially when facing a clan made of dragons and other monsters.

"I'll have to make you special weapons in the future," Nova said, "Oh yeah, I'm a metal smith in more blade type weapons. Name it and I'll make or repair it."

"That so? I'll have to ask you to help us in the future," Kain said.

"As long-"

"Yes yes...I won't attack her again."

Maxwell was more then ready for the vampire dragon, should he attack again and asked, "Neutron Nova."

This was surprising. He was never called by his full name like that and asked, "What is it?"

"Think you can do that trick of yours on me, should it get to that point?"

Trick? Athena had questions on this.

"What trick was that again?" I ask, unable to recall if I had seen it or not.

"I don't think you've seen it. It is where I take over a persons body, but all I do is power the person up," Nova said.

[Shadow Dragon]

"No, I think I know what it is," I said, "didn't you do that with Tikal during that demon battle?"

"No way!" Brian said in astonishment.

"That I did," he said now remembering. The jobs he has to do made him more forgetful, "He was dying and I had to intervene to help him hold the demons back for a bit."

[Shadow Dragon]

"Wow, whoever did him in must've been one hell of a monster," said Brian, eyes widen in surprise.

"It was Kaiser," I reply, "the same demon Archion was after."

"Then that tells us his title of Beast of Oblivion is no joke," said Vincet, "if he can bring down the Great Dragon of Legend like that."

"Dragons would never stoop to being defeated by demons so easily," Zali snapped, offended by Vincet's words, "so the fact that Tikal was nearly killed tells me he's nothing but a pathetic excuse for a 'dragon', let alone a legendary one!"

"You weren't there!!" I shout at the gang leader, "WE were! Those demons were among the toughest foes we've faced, so shut up because you don't know what you're talking about!"

That made Zali rush over and grab me by the shirt, lifting me off the ground, "The hell you say to me?!"

"Zali, knock it off!" shouted Luke.

"I don't know what I'm talking about, huh?" Zali spat, "I'm sick of pretending to be oblivious in this little game, but after what happened earlier, I'm done playing! You DO remember I can sense aura's of living creatures, right?!"

"I-" I couldn't finish as Zali throws me to the ground.

"Zali, that's enough!!" shouted Samantha, rushing over and got in between him and I.

I slowly stood up.

"What are you getting at, Zali?" Brandon took the risk of asking, even though he suspected the answer.

"Can you sense auras of armor?" Nova asked calmly.

Zali turns to Nova, "Explain yourself."

{Oops I meant 'Can' not if}

"Can you sense a shield? A helmet?" He asked again

[Shadow Dragon]

"Through armor?" asked Zali, "Of course I can. Through the thickest of armor, I can sense what that being is underneath all that armor. For instance, those knights we fought before were actually all dragons in human form."

"Wow," blinked Luke.

"Do you have to focus on the aura to get a reading, or does it come to you automatically?" Brandon asks, "For me, it requires a bit of focus."

"Comes naturally," Zali replied, "I don't know; sometimes I have to focus on the bigger creatures. Some of the beasts I fought long ago aren't all as they appear. And besides, the blood of one's true nature doesn't change with the form."

"How often do you do this?" Haku asked in a serious tone.

Zali turns to him, "Whenever I can to get the upper hand on our opponents. Why?"

"If you have the humans here respect our ability to disguise ourselves as one of them, then don't you be exposing others' for trying to do the same,"

"So you would know how to break the armor on the demon then?" Hinting this is what he actually meant. He can sense energy too, but he keeps to himself until needed, "Now that I think about it, I'm surprised you aren't sick from being near me."

[Shadow Dragon]

"No," Zali said, "I'm saying that even though the being is completely coated in armor, his or her aura is still exposed to me, telling me that the armored one is human, demon, dragon, or otherwise. Some humans turn out to be dragons in reality...and sometimes, even dragons really turn out to be that of man..."

"Whom are you speaking of?" asked Vincet.

"Oh, no one in particular."

"Zali..." Brandon said in a stern tone, "you're a dragon in human form as most of us are, so do know that the ones who disguise themselves are cut from the same cloth as us, if you will. Don't be exposing anything you might regret."

Haku faces the ground, "So...you knew about-"

Before he could finish, a beast was seen flying through the clouds in the sky.

"We got company," growled Tristan.

"I thought I sensed something," Nova said, "Be on your guard."

"You don't have to tell me twice," I said and ran off.

Broly got ready as did Andrew and Kain.

"Time for some fun," Maxwell said, walking behind.

[Shadow Dragon]

"That's Tikal!" Haku said as he recognized the silhouette within the clouds. He returns to his true dragon form and flies off the ground to meet with the legendary.

"Haku!" shouted Brian.

Tikal's eye looks at Haku as the river dragon approaches him from behind and eventually comes side to side with him. Tikal lowers himself and lands on a stretch of land on all fours, facing the rest of us, with Haku joining him, and changing back to his child disguise.

"Fancy meeting you here," said Ed with sarcasm.

"Come here to dig your own graves, I assume?" Tikal's voice boomed, fiery eyes locking onto us.

Nova just folded his arms and said, "You dared to face us again? Remember that warning I gave you? Stop wasting our time."

[Shadow Dragon]

"Seeing that you still live tells me the clan, once again, failed to do as they keep speaking of," Tikal said, obviously forgetting about said warning.

"Well yeah, for a clan that wants revenge, they're not the brightest tools in the shed, if you know what I mean," Brian said.

"Look who's talking," Ed sighed at Brian's failed attempt at mocking, "'Sharpest tools in the shed', you idiot,"

"This is disappointing..." Tikal's voice boomed, making the gang quit fighting among each other and turn to him. Tikal continued to play up his façade, "I thought a draconic vampire would be able to handle those that were supposedly beneath him, and yet he is bested every time."

"Uh, you still talking to us?" asked Luke.

"As I thought, vengeance outweighs their rational thoughts. Idiots like them never learn. Their ignorance is no more amusing than it is sad,"

It took Haku a moment to realize that Tikal was thinking to himself out loud. At least this officially proved that the Great Dragon had been playing up his act with the clan the entire time. Haku only hoped that the clan wasn't around to hear this, however, but a chill ran down his spine, telling him otherwise.

Nova felt the same, watching is back as more members of my team ran over.

Armored knights ran out of the woodworks and surround us, pointing their swords and spear at us.

"Really? Again?" Ed sighed, "You all want to die that badly, huh?"

A bolt of lightning was seen in the clouds and came charging down at us, only for Brandon to create a shield and deflect the attack. He looks up to see Zagan flying above him, before landing on solid ground, staff in hand as it crackled with electricity.

"Only a coward would create a sneak attack like that," Ed tries to egg on, but it didn't work.

"The time for games is at it's end," said Zagan, swinging his staff down, "either lay down your weapons and concede, or suffer from our hand."

"Blah blah blah," Brian mocked, "you think you're a bigshot because you can control lightning. Well let me tell you something, you old piece of scum: you and everyone with you aren't going to get away with what you've done!!"

Tikal turns to Brian, curious of what he was talking about.

"Brian," warned Zali, "don't let your personal feelings get in the way of what's important right now!"

"Why the f*ck not, Zali?!"

Zagan's eyes narrowed, "What I've done? Pathetic."

"Excuse me?" Zelos spoke.

"Soldiers of this clan who refuse to listen to orders deserve the punishment of death. I assure you, that will not happen again."

Nova started counting heads, before saying "Is that all you got? And that lightning? Pathetic..."

"Stop this, right now!" Athena shouts, "You are just a tool so his claws don't get dirty!"

"Athena!" the clone starts to protest before seeing her walk out in front of the group arms out to the sides to this he thought, "I wonder...did she?"

"Don't you see that's just asking for the clan to wiped out?! Granted you had an accident, but do you know your men more now?!"

Something was watching as this was happening.

[Shadow Dragon]

"Silence, traitor," Zagan calmly told Athena, "I follow his orders on my own accord."

"Well, this is a surprise," a voice of a woman was heard before Amalyth appeared from the group of knights and directed to Athena, "wasn't expecting to see you again, my dear."

"All right, this has gone on long enough," Brandon spat, "is there anyway we can convince you to come to equal terms and prevent any bloodshed? I know you really don't want to kill any of us, and believe it or not, we don't wish harm upon you either unless-"

"Speak for yourself!!" hissed Brian, eyes turning red and teeth sharpening as he charges at the clan.

"Brian, no!!" shouted Zali.

Brian reaches the clan and threw his fist at Zagan, only for him to grab the red dragon by the face and lift him off the ground.

"Brian!!" shouted the gang members.

He clinches his teeth as he glares at Zagan through his fingers. He could feel the static envelope his body as Zagan prepares an electrical attack to finish him off.

"Your orders are bloodshed?! You are lost to me!" she screamed when Brain was grabbed.

"Now!" Ganondorf shouts as the weather turned harsh in a flash and a large green dragon appeared in the sky.

"Rayquaza!" I shout nearby, "Use Hurricane!"

The dragon roared and the very attack was sent as other dragon pokemon were seen.

"Best you put him down," Kain said, "My boys are nearby too. You didn't see me which was a mistake."

[Shadow Dragon]

"That so?" Archion questioned Athena, "And what about you? Have you and the elder one not done any bloodshed during your time with us, hmm? Don't deny your previous bloodlust."

Brandon didn't know whether or not Athena and Bellona did such things, but he did know Archion was just trying to mess with Athena's head.

"Leave her alone!" hissed Vincet.

"And then there's you!" Archion said, "You've done your share of killings, so what's stopping you now?"

The thief spat, "You're right, I don't know what's stopping me." he takes out a large knife, "So then why don't I start by taking your head?!!"

"Um, excuse me, but I'm about to be fried here!!!" shouted Brian as Zagan maintained his grip, only for him to be thrown to the ground as Zagan had enough. That's when some of Archion's men were thrown around by the hurricane attack from Rayquaza, sending them flying.

The leaders and Aurora got out of harms way, however.

Tikal's muzzle wrinkled into a snarl, "If you really wanted to kill, you would've gone through with it right then and there, vampire. You have tested them long enough, and you continue to delay any appropriate action with useless words despite your earlier orders. Do you fear them that much?"

Archion turns to Tikal, "How dare you...?"

"Brian! Get over here!!" Ganondorf shouted.

"I know your tricks monster!" Athena shouts, then about Nova, "I've watched him save my friends life! Save her from this...virus that was changing here into an undead creature! I doubt Archion will do the same to you Zagan! Heck, I know he won't! You left us to die because I can't change! Thats the truth isn't it?!"

"Wait Kain, don't call them yet. I want to see this," Maxwell said.

[Shadow Dragon]

Archion looks at Athena, "That shows you don't know as much as you think you do, girl." A red aura surrounds his armored hand before swiping the energy at Athena, only to be blocked by a blue shield by Brandon.

"That's enough toying around," said Brandon, though he had a bad feeling in the back of his head about all this.

"Fine," the draconic vampire hissed, then raised his arm and pointed to the group, "you know the drill! If you must, leave no one alive!"

The group of draconic knights charge at us with full speed.

"Showtime!" Brian glares, standing up and preparing to change into dragon form, only to see that Ed had already taken his true form and took off in the air, "Show off!!"

Some of the armored knights turn into dragons and chase after Ed, who flies around shooting fire at the enemies, as more come in and try to knock him out of the sky.

"Well, what are you waiting for?!" Zali commands his group, "Get in there!"

"Let's show them what happens when they decide to mess with us like this!" Kyle hisses, brown eyes turning gold before morphing into his true dragon form as well, and taking off in the air in time to dodge a blast of fire from an oncoming wyvern rider in the sky.
