"Good boy," he said, crossing his arms as the hands go back a bit, "Now if you wish to try and be sneaky again, be warned I'm not the only one you should worry about. Best you back off, unless you want to scream for my amusement.

He starts to walk away and ads, "The prince isn't to be touched. 'Vengeance is mine says the lord.' Back off if you know what's good for you, though I doubt you will listen."

"That's not for you to-" Archion couldn't finish as he heard the dying screams of his men in the distance, "What now?!"

"Sire!" a bloodied knight limps toward everyone, "Monster! At the great dragon's castle!"

The leader turns to the injured night, "So then tell everyone to get the lead out their asses and go and kill it! And where is the dragon?!"

"He wasn't there, sire!"

Archion sighed before turning back to the blood-like pool, then the knight caught sight of it, "What...is that?! Another monster?"

"Belongs to me," Ganondorf said, as the very monster hands turn to the knight, "As I said, the dragon is most likely not there for a reason. Didn't think it was this...Interesting. Looks like whatever is attacking the castle is on my side."

I write things down again.

[Shadow Dragon]

"The monster at the castle isn't yours, I take it," Archion huffed.

"Sire!"

Archion turns back to the knight, "I said go back and kill that beast!!"

The screams die down and all that was left in the air was dead silence. This sends a chill down the knight's spine.

"Feels familiar, but I'm not sure unless I see it. Best you keep your knight with you anyway. I sense something else nearby that is indeed mine and will strike fast," Ganondorf said, "I think it's targeting Zagan too."

[Shadow Dragon]

"Aren't YOU lucky," hissed Archion at Nova before hearing the last part, then turns back at his castle as another body was thrown out. At this rate, he was at risk of losing his men if he didn't do anything. Archion then turned back to Nova, "This goes against everything I stand for, but if you and the others help us rid of our uninvited guest, I may talk about...sparing you, for now. Can't obtain our goal with that thing screwing everything up, now can we?"

"I agree. Oh and could you tell Zagan to move to his left, say, three steps? You'll thank me later," he said making his swords appear again, then to me, "Return to the castle for now. Let the others know there's a little, 'truce' for now regarding and unknown monster."

"Yes sir," I said and jumped back to it.

"If you try anything after this done, I won't hesitate to end you or make you suffer," Ganondorf warned.

Archion sneered at Nova, "And you as well." then to one of his own men, "You there!"

"Yes sir!" the knight regained composure and stood straight.

"There will be a...temporary truce between units. Spread the word, especially to Zagan and Amalyth! We have a nuisance to deal with first."

"Yes sir!" he replied, taking off running.

Ganondorf just gives one of the monsters a glance and they nod, before running off and said, "I'm a man of my word."

He looks around with his eyes real quick, before focusing on Archion once more.

"As am I," Archion moves his bare arm across his chest and bows as proof before returning to neutral position.

Swords disappearing once more, he places both hands behind his back and thought, "I wonder..."

"I'm sure you heard," I said, "Best we be careful. He gave us time at least."

"Wonderful," I sigh, "so we have other crap to worry about?"

"We deal with this all the time," replied Zali, "not an issue with us!"

"Too bad we missed the first half of the fun though!" spoke Kyle, looking around in the sky.

"I have a feeling I know what it is, but it's just a feeling," I admit.

"I'm not going out there," Athena said.

"Fair enough. We don't want you hurt. By the way, Archion thinks you would leave us too like you did him."

"What?! I left because of his cruelty! You are nice and those creatures are too. I don't want to leave. I want to know more about this place and live here!"

"Yeah, might be best you stay away from the clan for now," I told Athena.

"Worry about the clan later and focus on whatever needs it now," quipped Kyle.

[ganondorf2]

"Just watch yourself," I said, "This monster makes me wonder."

"Ready when you need us," Bowser said.

"Just a fair warning, don't attack the prince on my grounds anymore," Ganondorf said, "Is not a battlefield for your petty problems. It is a sanctuary."

"Then let's go," Brandon replied.

"And I'll inform the clansmen as well," Archion replied, "anyone who goes against my orders will be dealt with by me, and ONLY me...and I'll follow the same with your posse!" he holds out his arm at Ganondorf to seal the deal of the temporary truce, "That is my only condition."

"Good. Bad things happen when people don't listen anyway," he said, "Lead the way. My Troops will follow close behind me."

Archion dropped his arm in response and looked away where the dying screams of his men were heard before it had gone quiet. Two beings were seen in the sky before landing on the ground in front of Archion and Nova.

"Zagan," Archion recognized one.

The winged man, with his staff in hand, then looks at Ganondorf, then back at the main leader, "We got word of this 'truce' you made. Are you sure this is wise?"

"If we want to save the rest of our clan and destroy the one interfering, then yes!" Archion told him and Amalyth, "For now, direct your attacks at the creature. Anyone who lays a hand on the prince or his posse will be dealt with by me-" he eyes Ganondorf, "-and only me." Then back at Zagan and Amalyth, "got that?"

"Yes sir," they both agreed, then Amalyth asks, "Shall I go retrieve Aurora?"

Archion shook his head, "No. She'll just screw this up for us. We're all that's needed of our clan for now. I'll tell the survivors to back off."

"I'm sure you heard the rest then?" Ganondorf asked, "Your clan better not step on my grounds anymore."

[Shadow Dragon]

"No promises," Zagan told Ganondorf.

"Zagan," Archion bit back before turning to the dark castle, "let's go before we lose anymore of our people, if there's any left!"

"I make mine heard and seen," Ganondorf said to that, before looking ahead, swords appearing again, "Now to this threat..."

Archion, Zagan, and Amalyth, all took off toward the dark castle in haste.

The clone follows soon after and thinking, "If it is Tikal, this makes things interesting for me."

As they reach the inside of the castle, they look around to see bodies of the clansmen, both dragons and dragons in human form, sprawled on the ground, blood staining the rugs and the dark gray marble tile. Several of the gothic décor including pictures and statues were thrown askew.

"Where are you, you retched beast?!" hissed Archion, looking around.

"This is disappointing," a voice spoke in a hissing tone, "I expected a clan of your likeness to be more diligent of his enemies...before blindly attacking someone they have no knowledge of."

Amalyth sharply turns to see a skull headed being with red eyes and long claws, standing a few feet from everyone and staring back. Blood drips from the claws.

The beast continued, "Instead, they were slaughtered like ignorant sheep."

Archion glares at the beast, "So it was that thing killing my men."

The beast stares at Archion, head twitching repeatedly, "You claim to be their leader...yet refuse to rescue those ignorant enough to meet their demise. Is this all your retched Ironheart clan is capable of?"

"And what have you done with the dragon that lives here?" Zagan questioned it next.

"Wait," Amalyth spoke, "you know of our clan?!"

"Dragon?" the being slowly reared it's head back, still twitching, "There is no dragon here. There is no dragon...-" it's jaw slacked as it stood still, "-anywhere."

Darkness slowly surrounds and begins to expel from the demon, then it sharply turns it's head at the group, and shoots a blast of black fire at everyone.

"Something tells me it was lying in wait..." Ganondorf said, "While the cat is away, the mice will play as they say." He readies his weapons and added, "Or slay in this case."

Seeing the fire, he braces.

Zagan steps in front of Archion and Amalyth and tries to shield them with his staff, only to be hit with the attack that sends him flying and crashing onto a wall.

"Uncle!!" shouts Amalyth.

As the darkness slowly expels from the creature's body, it kept it's glowing red eyes on everyone.

"With that said," he said, "I have seen enough to know that this clan of yours are nothing but weaklings; listening to the empty promises of leaders who refuse to move on from a past with no baring's of today. All those I have encountered before you with that same mindset have all but fallen."

Darkness surrounds the beast before expelling it, sending the smoke everywhere before it faded away, revealing the form of a man.



He takes out a trident weapon from the holster on his back and swings it down, "And while gutsy of you to stand up to a legendary being, your flaws overtake your desire for vengeance."

"Legendary being?" Amalyth questioned.

Archion then snarls, taking out his sword and swung it down as well, and leaped at the man and swing his blade, only for him to thrust his trident upward, catching Archion's sword with a loud clang, and throwing the blade to the side. Preferring not to waste anymore of his powers on the clan, he then kicks the vampire away, sending him rolling across the ground. Black colored fire was then thrown at the vampire, who manages to roll out of the way before it struck a wall, burning up whatever it hit.

"Now," the man snarled, "do I really look like I need your pathetic excuse for power?!!"

Ganondorf took the flames, only to change into his new demon form and said, "I thought your energy was something I knew...you hid your power well." He sent a thought to him saying, "Nice armor." He puts his arm out and continued, "I see you think the same as I."

[Shadow Dragon]

"And what do you mean by 'flaws'?" asked Amalyth.

"No tactics were used in your futile attempts. Not studying your opponents, using brute strength and numbers in hopes to overpower them; those do not always ensure victory." he told the clan, "Are you really that hungry for revenge against a battle no one recalls, you forget how to approach it with a meaningful head!" he continued, "Your leadership is a disgrace, and those that blindly follow you fair no better!" he then finished by replying to Ganondorf, "That was intended."

Archion snarled before seeing Ganondorf change into his demon form.

"Now, if you value your lives, and the lives of the rest of your men," the mage told Archion, "you'll leave quietly and forfeit your attempts at revenge, because I promise, it will not end well for you. We'll make sure of it!"

"Who the hell do you think you are ordering us around?" asked Amalyth.

"Chasing after a legend is one thing, but even with the knowledge of that legend possibly backstabbing you, you still intended to use the dragon? It proves that your lust for revenge and your arrogance outweighs any rational thought you were believed to have had."

Archion chuckles, and rears his head back with full blown laughter before lowering his head, "You talk too godd*mn much."

The mage c0cked his head, "Where's the humor in that?"

"You would've been able to save yourself had you not have interfered with our search of the great dragon. That, and we have bigger fish to fry than you," Archion turns around, "let's move out! We're going to go run those spineless dragons to the ground no matter what it takes!!" Archion rushes and jumps out a window of the castle, followed by Zagan and the rest of the clan.

Ganondorf just crosses his arms and said, in his two tone voice, "Stubborn as a mule...and I rather not insult the animal..." He then turns to Tikal, "This is a fine mess...I'm glad I think ahead. How are you fairing?"
