Meanwhile, a group of wverns were seen in the sky, scoping out the castle that our groups were inside of, but not making a move yet.
"Uh, guys?" Tristan spoke as he noticed shadows of the enemies outside.
"They found us," sighed Zali.

So did Ganondorf at spotting the enemy... The top of a tower opens up and something flies out, before quickly shutting again. That something was a swarm of jelly fish like creatures flying quickly at the enemy in massive numbers. images.app.goo.gl/pVY7d6ABc6W7YfbC7"Trying to be sneaky? Have you no honor?" he asked, "Your new base will be attacked next if you try anything stupid. Face me or are you a coward?!" Nova was testing to see how far Archion will go to get at the prince. If he's going to swarm, he will do the same. |

The wverns catch sight of the creatures and fly in to snare them in their tallons and jaws, unaware of the danger they pose.

They flew out of the way as many try to bite down at the wverns's heads to suck their energy dry.
the barriers got stronger as this went on and Ganondorf whispered himself in a different language.
This in turn was a signal to something inside one castle, before it vanished.

The wyverns, along with their riders, that were bitten turned into brittle husks that would turn to dust upon impact with the ground. Another wave of foes arrive from behind them, shooting blasts of fire at the castle, unaware of the barriers in place.

Ganondorf just sighs and said, "Reflect..."
The barrier does just that, sending the attacks back at them.
Nova changed back to his new samurai look and lands on the edge of the combined castles, before crossing his arms, waiting for the next thing to come at him and the others, thinking, "I wonder if I should send them out."

The attacks were sent back at the ones who used them, causing them to be burned and fall from the sky. The rest of the enemy group that were SUPPOSE to be the next ones to attack, instead just broke away from their positions and began to fly around in random places.
"OK...?" Tristan said as he watches this.
"They know they'll be struck down if they follow through whatever strategy they had," Haku told everyone.
"Looks like we finally broke them," Brian crossed his arms, "let's go get 'em while their guard is down!"
"Do the words 'trap' mean anything to you?" Luke question as he watches the wyverns fly around.
"Yeah, could be an attempt to get us to lower our guard," Ed said.
"Hmm, I don't know..." even Brandon had doubts as he watches the opponents.

Ganondorf shrugs and said, "Send out the Molduga. Attack their base."
The ground shakes as something underground heads in a direction, breaking through rock with ease.
He then snapped his fingers and the air gets colder in seconds.

The enemies that were flying around could feel the cold air, confusing them as they stop their assault and looked around. Those that were on the ground cried out in fear as they felt the ground shake.
"Simple minded creatures," Zali smirked at the confused and panicked state of the enemy group.
"Zali, I'm itching to give those creatures what-for!" Ed barked.
"Yeah, can we 'go outside and play' now?" Luke asked.

Zali watches the ice creature, then back at the clan, and rolls his eyes, "Yeah, this is getting rediculous."
The opponents rush in and attempt to burn the creature with fire blasts from their mouths. Meanwhile, the clan leaders remain at the very back of the attempted assault out of sight as they watch from afar.
"Your strategy isn't working," Zagan hissed at Archion.
"Patience Zagan," he replied.
"'Ridding their front lines and tiring them out'," Amalyth repeated Archion's words, "obviously, they got more going for them than we realize."
"Then sit back and watch the sparks fly for now," Archion continued to study the battle, "Least now we know what to expect from them from a full scale attack."

"I know you are there Vampire Dragon...watching my creatures," he called out, turning to his direction, "My troops are heading your way...unless they are already there. As a matter of fact...watch your back. One of my best might be with you."
He changed the sky once again and waves of monsters appeared before charging to find the dragon.
"To get at him...you have to go through me..." he then thought, "He knows what he's doing somewhat. I wonder what he'll do when he finds out, I don't tire, or rather can't?"

Archion smirks at this as he watches and listens in, "So that man is one of the prince's more stronger guards,"
"It would seem that way," said Amalyth.
"Sire, they're headed this way!" one of the knights called out.
"No patience with that one," Archion said about Nova, "fine." The vampiric dragon then decided to make himself known. Wings bursts from his back as he took off in flight, followed by Zagan and Amalyth, and headed toward our groups.
"Well, look who decided to come out and play!" Zali hissed.

"Stand down, and stay back," Ganondorf said to Zali, before he jumped down from the ledge the ground far below. He lands with both feet, and even with just a cloth wrapped around both feet, he didn't feel pain from it and waited for them, before crossing his arms again.
"Broly," I start.
He nods, knowing he has to protect Brandon too and I join Nova by flying down and stood beside him.
"Why did you disobey?" he asked me.
"Sorry, sire, but I figured I could help a little bit if needed," I said.
"Very well. Stay back from the fight unless called."

The clan leaders fly in and land on the opposite side of a large stretch of land.
"I know he's here," Zagan said, "I can sense him and his posse,"
Archion looks around, sword in hand.

"And? You heard me correct? To get to him, you have to go through me," he repeats, he sees the monsters coming in and said, "Halt your attack! For now..."
They obey and were on standby.
"I suppose you're going to do the same trick on me? I told you, I have many troops. Vengeance will be the death of you and you know it."

Archion turns to see Nova.
"Is that so? Fine. We have many troops on standby as well." Amalyth hissed.
Zagan cracked his neck and questioned, "The fact that you go out of your way to protect a leader as weak as he is astounding, but foolish."

Meanwhile, on a cliffside, a figure looked out to where the protentional battle was being held, shaking his head.
"I told him that vengeance will blind him from the truth and outweigh his rational thoughts," he spoke to no one in particular, "And yet, he still questions why he is bested by the ones he opposes. That ignorance of his is no more amusing...than it is sad." The figure lowers his head, "THAT is what I have witnessed upon 'joining' this wretched clan, and even with the lowest amount of effort I have ever put into my power, they remain blind,"
Armored knights storm the area and catch sight of the figure, who had his back turned.
"Identify yourself!" spoke one, taking out a sword, "Are you with the Ironheart clan?!"
The figure draws out his hand, stretching his fingers to show black talon like nails, black fire coating his hand, "If you don't reconsider your hostile-"
"Are you with the clan?!" the knight continued.
"We won't ask again!" another screamed.
The stranger in question slightly turns his head, looking over his shoulder. Oh well, no sense in trying to talk things out to idiots who are too stubborn to listen, "I never was...and I never will be."
"Never was?" questioned one of the knights.
"I'm giving you one chance to reconsider your decision of trying to kill me,"
"So, we have a traitor in our clan, do we? Lord Archion and Lord Zagan are going to LOVE you then! Get him!"
The knights scramble toward the figure with the intent of capturing him, who then repeats, "Oh well. This charade of mine has been drawn out long enough!!!"
With one swipe of his arm, the knights were blasted by black colored fire, their dying screams filled the air.

"Weak? Attacking a young lady to get to him when he has no clue about you in the first place. No honor as I said. That is weak!" Nova said, "Oh and the fact two of your own came to me...and I found out more about your actions with them. Speaking of...Athena is a welcome addition to my clan. I haven't tested her yet, but I can sense a power you can't handle from her." He makes two large blades appear in each hand and continued, "I knew you were coming, before you started the attack on us. Long before."

"Athena, the wretch that you are harboring, left on her own accord," Archion told Nova, "and eventually, she'll leave you as well, so there's no sense in keeping her, or the other two alive!"
"Well, now I'm impressed," Amalyth told Nova after hearing him, before hearing the pained screams of the clan's own knights in the distance, "What?!"
"Of course after we leave our post," Archion rolled his eyes, "GO BACK AND RID WHOEVER IS ATTACKING OUR FORCES!!"
That's when an explosion was heard as well as more screams. At least three bodies of armored knights were sent flying toward the clan leaders, and land hard a few feet beside them. Archion walks over to take a look, and realized that not only was the armor badly burnt, but inside was nothing but ash.

"I thought I heard screams," Nova said then laughed, "So much for your troops. Least those ones!"
"Sire, are we safe?" I asked.
"We are. Sounds like your troops bumped into a monster that didn't want to be disturbed." He then thought, "I know that's Tikal's doing. This is bad. I'll have to send one of my own to save his hide if he's found out...I know the perfect person for the job too."

"One of yours, I take it?!" Archion barked before hearing the thundering hooves of horses approaching, followed by more knights.
"Sire, our clan is under attack!" one shouts, "A black demon just killed our troops with one swipe!"
"So then what are you idiots doing?!" the leader roared out, "Make haste and strike back!!"
Pained roars of dragons were heard in the distance before falling silent. Archion turns to Nova, "Quite the copout from you; having your men attack our clan while our back is turned." Of course, he was aware of the hypocrisy, but didn't mention it.

"Nothing like a reverse play isn't it?" he asked, tossing one of his blades in the air, and catching it again a couple of times, "How does that feel, hmm? Know I have to ask...have you ever bump into a Demon King? You should know better than to mess with one." The monsters cry out in agreement as he points out his right arm, sword in hand, at Archion and added, "You're looking at him too."
I just stood by, waiting for anything.

Meanwhile, two more knights charge in and notice the carnage. Blood was everywhere on the ground, as well as pieces of the armored soldiers. In the middle of the bloodshed, a monster was seen breathing heavily.  "What the hell is that thing?!" one questions. The beast sharply turns to the knights, staring...staring...head twitch...CHARGE! The knights scream in surprise as one was skewered by the demon's claws, and ripped in half by the other set of claws, blood and entrails flying everywhere. The other knight suddenly collapses to the ground and never moved again, provoking the monster, after dropping the ripped apart knight, to pick up the other with it's claws. Dead from shock, or heart attack? Either way, that's no fun. To be safe, however, he was ripped apart anyway. --- "Demon king?" questioned Archion, "You?" |

"Yes, me. You should be honored to face a true king too," he said, lowering his arm again, and making the sword in his left hand disappear for a moment, "Now then. Do you need more time? I can wait that much."
I start writing something down.
"Now this will get interesting..." Maxwell thought.

Archion spat on the ground, "True king? Don't make me laugh! Even the mighty dragon king was no match for our clan, so what makes you believe you can best us?"
Meanwhile, the rest of us were still inside the castle watching the flying enemies drop to the ground from the fridged air.

He snapped his fingers and a red liquid, almost like blood, appeared and spread out on the ground before large hands appeared out of them as he said, "This is what I'm talking about."  He puts out his arm and they screech as they move in at the dragon quickly as he adds, "What with them and your weapons rusting in flash, it won't help you. Be glad I haven't done the last thing to you." |

"Watch you footing," Ganondorf warned as the hands got hit, but others took over quickly, spreading the liquid at his foe's feet, "You want to have your health to come back don't you?"
I stood by as I looked around.
