The team turn to the screen and watched, and were startled by what had appeared.
"YOU?!" Papyrus hissed, "BUT HOW?! I THOUGHT NEUTRON-"
"Was that a threat?!" asked Jade, disregarding how and why Dark Sans was still around despite being 'erased from existence' by Neutron before.

"What?" Neutron asked and the next thing his prosthetic right hand started to spark and this made him remove it quickly and throwing it on the ground.

The metal gear Steven was in, locks itself as well the power drain's completely and is replaced by ether that the mechon use.
"@nything machine...i control. i can replace pieces and fuel in the sn@p of my fingers...or control them completely. go ahead, tare open the hatch...i'll be happy to hear you scream as it decay's your body in seconds!"

"Not good," said Alvis in fear, "the ether we have in this world is deadly to organic life! If any of it touches him..."
"We got that much down," said Jade to Alvis, "now how do we get Steven out of there in one piece?!"
That's when Papyrus and Gaster summon one blaster each, and had them move toward the gear. They both fire at the hatch, hoping to free Steven before it was too late.

Neutron rushed over as well with no fear to his well being.
Ivo rushed in as well, granted he was in machine as well but so far nothing was happening to it.

"No!!" shouted Luke.
Hearing the hatch lock, Steven then tries to use the emergency escape and slams his fist into the button, but nothing happened...and the button was now destroyed.
"Oh f*ck me!" he huffed, knowing that he was in trouble as not only did he destroy his only means of escape, but was in danger of being eaten alive by this 'ether' stuff. Armstrong then slams his fists together to try and have his nanomachines harden his body, only to realize that he was out of juice, "Are you kidding me right now?!!"
"Stop!" Black fire covers Tikal's hands and he throws it at Dark Sans, hoping it would be enough.

It was hit by the blasts but they bounce off and the fire sent at Dark Sans goes through him, showing he was just on video feed and laughs.
Neutron gets to the top and with no fear, punched hard and fast into the hatch and rips it off and shouts, "Go!"

Armstrong sees the hatch being ripped off, and without hesitation, climbs up, "Thanks!" He then proceeds to jump off the machine.

Neutron does the same thing, just before the ether flooded in time, but Neutron wasn't lucky and got some on his left arm saying "Nova quickly!"
Nova gets out his sword and quickly cuts it off before it seeped into his blood.
"n0t bad...i didn't think you would save him...from wH@t he did," Dark Sans said.
"Can it!" Nova said in anger, "Are you trying to impress your brother so he doesn't beat you again?"
"br0ther? i have a brother...no longer."

"What do you mean?" asked Jade to Dark Sans.
Suddenly remembering what Dark Sans had done to Gaster many months ago, in an attempt of revenge, Gaster and Papyrus were about to command their blasters to move toward Dark Sans and fire at him, only to remember it's all a video projection. That didn't make the memory any less agonizing, however.

The video cuts out by then making Sans fall in terror.

"I would have to say it's not a good thing," said Jade, then saw Sans fall.

The three turn to Gaster after hearing him translate Dark Sans's words, Alvis saying, "Is that what he said?"
"It is," said Gaster.
"What could this possibly mean?"
"SANS?" Papyrus turned to his brother to see him on the ground, scared, "ARE YOU OK?"

"Well, I would say monsters like him deserve this kind of torture," said Jade, crossing his arms as he didn't seem to be bothered either, "but it might not be vital to our mission to just ignore this."
"So, what do you suggest we do?" asked Alvis to Jade.
"I don't know; maybe ask those who are more informed of this sort of thing." Jade was referring to Sans and Gaster, "If they are at all."

Still sitting, Sans pulls his legs up and hides his face and said, "what's worse...i almost became like that. as i said paps...don't make that mistake."
"Almost?" I parrot.
"remember what i said about us getting stronger with human souls? i wanted to be stronger so i could protect Asgore...but there was one i wish i didn't take. the soul the human had was tinted with so much hatred...i almost looked like that. that's why i quit...it was too much."

"As much as I applaud your high spirits, I have to agree with Sans in that matter," said Jade to Papyrus, "think about it for a moment."
With the helmet on, it was hard to tell what Papyrus was thinking, but he had to agree, "I WOULD NEVER BECOME LIKE THAT! YOU KNOW I WON'T, SANS! ...AND I HOPE...THAT YOU NEVER DO EITHER!" then to Gaster, "SAME WITH YOU, DAD!!"
"I'm afraid I can't promise anything on my end, son," admitted Gaster, reminding Papyrus about his state of mind, although right now he appeared to be fine.
Alvis didn't say anything.

Neutron grew back his arm as they talked but he has to deal with one still as he had to throw down his prosthetic one when it was controlled and the good clone thought about that too.
Kirby walks up to him on this showing worry as did Marowak and Marie. Kirby hugs him to try and make him feel better as did the pokemon and ex-skullgirl.
"thanks guys," Sans said to that.

"I would if you did harm like you did in the past, but you had a reason. I'm going to try and see if I can get that dark soul out of you."
"this is going to hurt...isn't?"
"Might scare you, but you'll be fine."
With that, the Stand hits the skeleton in the chest with it's fist faster then a blink of an eye, making Sans yell in surprise. He pats himself down and said, "wow, you're right."
He glows a golden light as a black soul came out of his chest making the skeleton jump back and far away from it.
