Another Dimension: Demonic Tempest

"Easy request and I have a feeling I know what you're going to do," Neutron said and made fire appear in his hand and holds it out.

Gerald looks away, having a feeling as well as he puts some things away.

[Shadow Dragon]

The clone sighs, "Let it be known that after this, my resolve will never be forgotten, and if I ever lose it again, then do as you see fit with me." He moves away from the mirror, taking the gauze that had been over his eye, and jams it into his mouth, clinching it between his teeth.

He then takes his sword, staring at his reflection for a moment before taking the blade and places it over the fire, heating it up until the heated part turned bright red. The clone then takes a moment to steady his resolve, knowing that this was going to hurt, even though losing an eye in the first place didn't tickle either, but he felt it had to be done. What was an attack that partially blinded him, he was turning into a driving force to never stray from his path. He silently thanked Asch for waking him, though he still wanted vengeance against that noble for taking his eye and making him look like a fool in the first place.

Then, taking a deep breath, the clone takes his literal red hot sword, and presses the blade right onto the slash wound over his eyelid. The blade made contact with the open slice wound, the flesh sizzling for a brief moment. Or was that his muffled blood-curdling scream? His head was too clouded to tell the difference.

The blade drops from his hand as the clone collapses on his back on the floor, his consciousness leaving him as smoke rose from the wound.

It was successful; the red wound over his missing eye that destroyed it was now permanently exposed, and permanently sealed his eyelid shut.

Gerald rush over to make sure the clone didn't hurt himself from the fall and removing the gauze from the man's mouth so he doesn't choke.

"Do what needs to be done, Gerald. I'll be nearby," Neutron said to the scientist, placing the cover he had for his left eye away. Just to honor his creation at what he had to do. That was something he wanted to do on himself, but can't as Rugal's power cursed the eye socket that it can't be removed again. The clone was luckier than him in that way. He makes a smirk too, knowing his words hit Tikal, and soon something will hit him too...a wake up call of his own making.

Nova sensed a lot of pain, but didn't say anything as he knew where it came from.

The rest of the men that waited with the others heard a thud, like a body falling to the floor.

"What was that?" asked Luke, turning to the sounds direction.

"I'm sure it was nothing," said Armstrong, "probably the guy's sword got knocked over or something."

"I hope he'll be OK,"

Tikal said nothing, still angry at the entire debacle he had with the clone as well as Neutron, but said anger was slowly fizzling out, thankfully. No need to cause anyone anymore stress when there are bigger issues to worry about, after all.

"Lets get out of here. They probably need more time, and we don't have that," Ganondorf said.

"My teleporter is still up so enter that you'll be back to the last area," Dell said heading to it.

"Sounds good to me," Peac0ck said following.

Something came up on Nova's phone and he read, but kept it to himself, 'Just testing to say about Tikal that, he is going to get a 'wake up' call too. What kind? Oh the kind that makes you regret trying it on my clone and not realizing you should look at yourself more so than the other. I'm going to give you a hint...the shadow under the mage, is his worst enemy. I hope he doesn't lose more than an eye...say his sanity. He better pray they the wake up call isn't his death call too. Good bye and good luck...You'll need it.'

The good clone closed the phone after reading that.

"And convenient," said Armstrong, following the others as did Luke and Tikal.

I notice a look of worry from Nova and asked, "Something wrong?"

"More like confusion...Neutron typed something on my phone. Something about Tikal's shadow would be his enemy."

"Ok even I would be confused."

None of the men in the group heard what was being said and continued to follow.

My team follows as Nova keeping watchful eye on Tikal, more so his shadow, and noticed it was lying to him as it moving in a strange way and said the mage, "You might want to watch yourself. Something is off."

Tikal turns to Nova, "Why is that?"

Alvis pondered what Luke had said about his world and how 'replicas' were created there, including Luke himself. He then turns to Jade, "Is this true?"

The Malkuth officer replied without skipping a beat, "What Luke explained is true, all of it. I myself had a hand in the replica project, and it's not something I'm proud of."

"You helped create Luke?"

"In a way, but that was before I realized the extent of my mistake and tried to get it shut down, going as far as banning the use of such technology, including the fomicry used to create it. Sadly, it's very complicated to explain to people who aren't from our universe. Luke left out some details of what he's been through, but it's not important." 

Alvis nods to this.

"And if I were that replica, if he won't take advice from us, then I'd suggest he take it from someone who is in the position to give it." he turns to Luke, "Right Luke?"

The shadow starts to move and toward Tikal as Nova said, "Look down! That's not your shadow!"

"Don't look at me," said Luke to Jade, "it's up to HIM if he wants to take my advice or not!"

Tikal defensively looks down at the ground.

The shadow heads for the teleporter and disappears with a laugh.

"What was that?" I asked.

"I think I know...Neutron made a clone of you, Tikal, and I have a feeling he's going to give the same words Neutron did about the clone...but different," Nova said.

[Shadow Dragon]

"Tch," the mage sounded, "I can't decide if I should be annoyed or flattered."

"Aren't you worried at all?" asked Luke.

"I've handled worse, so I'm sure I'll be fine."

Armstrong could tell Tikal was lying through his teeth, but didn't say anything.

"We better move anyway," I said stepping on the teleporter and vanishing.

"Something tells there's more to this then just following you," Ganondorf said, "Much more."

"I wouldn't doubt," Big Band said, "Feels like deja vu too."

[Shadow Dragon]

Great, any kind of deja vu in the mage's case could spell trouble for him, but he kept his mouth shut and followed Ganondorf2 into the teleporter, along with Armstrong and Luke.

As my team exited, the shadow was seen leaning against a tree, more a smoke like version of Tikal and was waiting for everyone, arms folded and with a smirk.

The men exited and see the shadow against a tree. Tikal was unimpressed, however, but eyed the figure with both curiosity and annoyance.

"Annoyed already, and I haven't started yet," the shadow said, "Then again, I don't blame you."

"What do you want?" Kira asked, "To start a fight?"

"To give a wake up call of our own...something you don't think about until its too late."

"What?" Nova sounded.

[Shadow Dragon]

"I have a bad feeling about this," said Luke, hand on the handle of his sword.

Tikal said nothing, however.

"You said you wanted him to wake up, correct?" He starts, "Don't you think it might turn the wrong way? Say make him think that what you wanted was never enough for you as well the other...to make him go into madness and this triggered it. Anything to prove he is not like the other. Possibly becoming something of a nightmare...Best you watch out. I think another bomb was set off nearby...with that What If in mind."

"Are you serious?" I asked.

[Shadow Dragon]

Tikal was undeterred, however, "Obviously, you mistook my way of helping him as something that is beneath me, so if that other guy couldn't wake him, then he's beyond help and I refuse to associate with him any further, so whatever it is you plan to do to me will be useless."

"Even if that 'help' ends up not? What do you know about the brain? And its nerves?" he asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Ever hear of stories that the eye is connected to something that makes who we are, if severed well we change from good to evil or vice versa. You better pray that that this nerve was not touched."

"That enough!" I said.

[Shadow Dragon]

Tikal's nose wrinkles in a snarl, "I may have said some things to help get his mind straight, but I'm not the one that gouged out his f*cking eye and put all those useless thoughts in his head!"

Luke clinched his fists.

"So instead of berating me, I suggest you go after the one that nearly killed the clone in the first place."

"Are you f*cking kidding me?" Armstrong takes off his glasses and cleans them with his shirt, "You BOTH are guilty of setting the clone off, buddy!"

"Steven!!" Luke yells.

"Hey, I'm just telling it how it is and how I've seen it," he puts his glasses back on, "and honestly, I got kinda sick of the fights between you two myself."

Tikal glares at the former senator, "Then why didn't you speak up?"

"Because unlike you, I'm not dumb enough to get my @$$ handed to me by Neutron for being in the middle," he replied, "otherwise, I would've been glad to beat some sense into the BOTH of you!"

"I'm saying all this as there's another area that opened up too and it's...off. My boss says because the clone might be needed...a big if however."

"Off as in?" Nova starts.

"A time where, as you say, revivals and healing is a risk...but was never listened. Only for random clones or normal people to come back as...monsters or zombies. Be watchful. Maybe that stranger will avoid it too...as magic is also effected. Something there is changing it."

[Shadow Dragon]

"Does that mean magic and spells are useless there?" asked Luke.

[ganondorf2]

"i better stay back then," Sans said, "everything is a form of that type."

"I'm staying back too then," Maria said.

Dell was thinking as said, "Wait a gosh darn minute...anything else in there?"

"What do you mean?" the shadow asked.

"It just sounds like an event from years ago...Not proud of it."

[Shadow Dragon]

"Then I guess you're out of luck, too," Armstrong said to Tikal.

The mage shook his head, however, "I'm going."

"What?!" Luke questioned, "But-"

"I can still fight without my powers," he points to the trident strapped to his back, "anything I can get my hands on, really."

"Then I'm coming too," said Luke.

"Same here," Ganondorf said.

"Just be aware...I saw something in there and it was big," the shadow said.

"LOOKS LIKE I'M OUT. IT MIGHT EFFECT ME TOO," Tricky said.

"I'll go too. I can fight too with my weapons," Dell said.

"I'm curious," Ivo said.

Nova sensed something and said, "You might want to be more watchful then that."

"Let's go and see what's going on," I said, feeling dread.

"How odd...bomb inside another portal..." Nova continued, "Elfilis is strong in mind, I'll admit."

"This explosion is a threat too. Its getting bigger as we speak...like it wants to take over everything," the shadow said.

"So Asch might get caught in this too? That might mean he is nothing but a tool for Elfilis and hoped the clone to be attacked like that if not trying to force him to change sides," Ganondorf said, "Another thought to consider, Tikal. What if that clone was more powerful then you thought...and removing the eye halved it? In other words..."

"Don't think that yet and if Asch is stuck in there too, it is best help him then ask why he did what he did," Jotaro said.
