It was block, but Rugal felt nothing, saying, before throwing a fist at him as well, covered in dark flames, "Is that all you got? Hit harder!"

"OK, he's trying to egg him on..." Nova thought, "Not sure that's stupid or he knows what could happen."

Spotting Shulk's group he said, "Perfect! A bigger challenge!"

Indeed, Shulk foresaw what would've happened, thus the reason for his interference. He stands in front of Armstrong, "Sorry, Steven, but I've had enough!"

"Shulk, are you crazy?!" D!ckson hissed out.

"As long as I have my visions...I'll be fine, D!ckson," he replied, "no one should have to suffer anymore than they did!" he turns to Rugal, "I'll take you on myself!"

He crossed his arms and asked, "So you're the one my solders where talking about. Can you see what will happen to you, kid? Get out of my way or what that toy saw is nothing but showing your death. Did you ignore the fact what I did to Neutron?"

[Shadow Dragon]

"You dumbass!" Armstrong huffed at Shulk, "You want to become mincemeat, be my guest-" then about Rugal, "but leave this coward to me!! Stand aside!" he attempts to shove Shulk away and rush over to Rugal again.

"I will not!" Shulk hissed back, before being shoved by Steven, and regaining his composure, "I know what will happen if the enemy succeeds! I saw it! ...And after what Dunban and I been through that day...with that monster-"

"Shulk-" Dunban tried to counter, but it was no use.

"That's why...that's why I'm not going to hold back any more!" he then eyes Rugal.

"Stand aside and let Steven take care of this!" Egil commanded him.

"Sorry Egil, but as a homs, I'm not bound to take orders from a Machina, even if you are their leader!"

"Very well. I give you props for this, but there's one problem to it. Did it foresee THIS?!" he said, making a mix of thunder and darkness in both hands and fired at both Steven and Shulk at the same time.

Nova sense this electric attack was not was it seemed and shouts at Armstrong, "Don't let it hit you! It's not what you think!"

"Listen kid, if you want to die, fine, but do it on your own time!" Armstrong growled, then to Rugal, "Ignore him! Let's go, right now!" He then rushes toward the foe.

"And I thought I was ignorant before," thought Luke about Shulk, standing away from he battle as he and the group watched, then gasped as he sees the attack created by Rugal, "Watch out!!"

Armstrong tries to dodge whatever was coming at him.

Shulk looked at Rugal and saw the attack about to hit him.

"Shulk!!" shouted both Dunban and D!ckson.

Alvis rushes in, claymore in hand, and attempts to slash at Rugal, hoping to stop the attack in time.

Iggy used his stand to block the attack from Shulk, knowing sand can handle it.

Putting one hand to the side, he got ready for Armstrong as flames appeared on his feet

Alvis stops and jumps back, seeing that Shulk was saved at the last minute anyway, making him sigh in relief. Shulk backed away.

"Get back here now!" shouted D!ckson to Shulk.

[Shadow Dragon]

"All right, I've had enough!" Armstrong attempts to grab Shulk and Alvis with both hands and throw them toward the group, "Now stand aside!!!" He then turned back his attention to Rugal and throws a punch at him.

Rugal was ready and shouts, "Genocide Cutter!"

He jumps and cuts the air with his legs, hard enough to cut anything.

This made Neutron worry, remembering what happened to his hand and eye.

Armstrong tries to dodge this, only to be cut in the left shoulder as the nanomachines didn't activate in time, nearly taking his arm off, but was enough for it to be unusable. He then took his right arm and holds his left together where the area was cut, causing the nanomachines to fuse the injury back together.

"Gonna have to try harder than that!" he growled.

"You're lucky. I was aiming at your head," he said laughing, "OK, lets see if you can handle this!"

Green flames appear in his hand and threatened to stab him in the chest with it.

Armstrong tries to block with his arms as he quickly moved to the side, only to be impaled in the stomach.

"F-f*ck!!" he yelled.

"Get yourself together already!!" shouted the swordsman clone, trying to encourage him.

The former senator attempts to pull himself away from the attack.

Rugal tries to lift him off his feet and said, "Lets see how those machines work when they have no power."

Now Nova and I see Rugal is no joke and the good clone started to think and hard.

They both felt themselves being grabbed and thrown toward James's group. Sliding across the ground, Shulk and Alvis shakily stood up.

"Had enough playing the hero, Monodo twerp?!" even Mumkhar was angry at this.

Shulk was about to respond, only to catch a glimpse of what was about to happen to Armstrong, but was too late in warning him. This was enough to anger him, and with a shout, he charges again, Monodo in hand as a blue blade appears and he swipes it at the foe.

Armstrong felt himself being lifted off his feet, but was unable to do anything about it. Baring his teeth, he eyes Rugal with anger before seeing Shulk come toward them...again. When will that boy learn?

Rugal starts to sap the energy out of Steven's machines before he tossed the man at Shulk, whipping his arm back down from using it and said, "Not bad, small amount, but not bad."

Shulk was struck by Armstrong, causing the replica Monodo was sent flying from his hand, landing on the ground behind him. That's when Alvis rushes in and snatches it, causing it to activate long enough to give him a chance to swing it at the foe in an attempt to save Shulk and Armstrong.

The former senator hit Shulk upon flying into him, and crashed to the ground. Shakily standing, he turns his attention back at Rugal, "You..."

He swats the attack away but was badly cut from doing so.

Neutron was soon surprised as the wounds quickly heal on Rugal before Nova finally stepped in, having the man ask, "What's this?"

The dark clone turns to him and thought, while making a smirk, "Here we go again..." then aloud, "You know he's my problem."

"No, he's our problem, as you saw," he said, going into a stance

"I can't make you change your mind, I take. We really are alike," the dark clone said, laughing a little and does the same thing, healed up.

"So you did find one like you, not that it changes things," the Rugal said.

"You're funny," Nova said, confusing him, "You never thought there might be some slight changes?"

"What do you mean?"

"Seriously, use your head," the good clone said, tapping the side of his own.

"OK, you're more annoying, I can tell."

"Come on now," he continues rolling his eyes, crossed his arms, and taps his boot.

Alvis jumps back after being swatted. After regaining composure, Shulk was surprised at this until he saw Alvis dropping on one knee, his right arm shaking a bit as he panted, trying to hide his distress. The Monodo dropped to the ground. Shulk gasped. Grabbing the replica Monodo had activated it's anti-theft measure.

"So D!ckson was right," thought Shulk, "not even Alvis can hold this Monodo!"

After regaining some composure, Alvis stood up, his right arm hanging limply to his side, alerting Shulk and Dunban as he sees the clothing on his arm shredded up and lightning-like burns on his arm and hand.

"Alvis, your arm!" Dunban cried, making Shulk gasp at this.

"It is fine," Alvis breathed out as he watches Shulk take back the Monodo.

"Can you move it??" asked Kyle.

"I cannot," he replied, taking out his claymore with his left hand.

"No, this is just like what happened with me with Zanza's Monodo!" cried Dunban in fear.

"I told you only Shulk and I can handle that thing!!" D!ckson shouted, "Alvis is lucky to have released it in time! Otherwise, he'd be dead where he stands right now!"

"It will be all right," Alvis tried to reassure the three, even though he himself was lying through his teeth, as he had never trained himself to use his left arm to fight.

Goku ran over and said, "Let me help you either way."

[The Melee Master]

"All right, enough fooling around!" Magnus shouted, taking his weapon in hand, "it's my turn!!"

However, he was stopped by a voice, "So it seems you haven't learned after all this. Hm. If you had listened to your friends, you wouldn't be in this position, now would you, kid?"

That caused Shulk to raise his head, "Wait, that was-!"

Lucina looked around, and noticed pools of malice appearing on the ground, surrounding Rugal as figures appeared from them, all taking the form of Rugal himself.

"Oh great, NOW what's going on?!" Dark Pit hissed, then at Rugal, "Got yourself some backup now, you cowered?!"

However, he was shocked to see the figures charge in to attack Rugal himself.

"What the hell?!" Armstrong looked around at this.

Luke snarled, "This is more than I can even take!" he then notices the malice figures charge at Rugal, "Wait, what?!"

Nova backs off from this only to see Rugal make a smirk and said, before charging at them, hand covered in darkness, "Another idiot? Those things are going for a ride!"

"He's not backing down," Marie said.

Sans wanted to attack, but felt that was a bad idea at this time.

[The Melee Master]

Before Shulk could continue, he saw a masked figure behind the group. Shulk's grip on the Monodo tightens as he recognized the Guy Fawkes mask the stranger wore along with the purple cloak.

"You!" Shulk hissed.

"Wait, who's that?" asked Pit, blinking.

However, the stranger didn't make a move toward Shulk or the others, instead summoned more Hollows, telling Shulk, "This pest needs to be exterminated," he was referring to Rugal, "so move aside, or die along with him."

Now Shulk was even more confused than when he first met the masked man, but instead of questioning him, he turns back to Rugal as the hollows run past him and toward the foe.

Rugal slammed his hand into a hollow, and flew at more of them stacking them up, before they were smashed into a wall, making an explosion formed into a skull and does this a second time to the other wall behind him. He just rolled his shoulder a little and said, "Nice try Astor. You better research your opponent better. I am the malice and you can't control that. Did you foresee this or ignored it?"

[The Melee Master]

"Hm," was all he replied to Rugal's comment.

"Wait, what's going on??" Sara asked.

"So you...you're really are with the enemy!!" Shulk hissed.

"Making assumptions already?" spoke the masked stranger, "I told you: even a fraction of power is enough to cause massive damage if used correctly," he replied, then to Alvis, "and the fact that you allowed yourself to be damaged in such an embarrassing way...you obviously have ways to go, 'seer'."

Alvis didn't reply to him, however. The hollows backed off after having some be destroyed by Rugal. Astor just watched as his lackies were destroyed, but didn't seem to be phased by it.
