Chapter 32

"Ready?" Ganondorf said helping, with Jack, on Mario with target practice. G2 was watching nearby as well.

"Sure am. I hope it works," he said.

"You got this, little man," the solider said.

Mario focuses, making fire balls come out of his hands and they head for the targets that appear high or low, setting them on fire for a second. One was below Mario's feet to make him jump on it, like in the games and more jumpable platforms appear to work on just that. Once done, Mario stops at the top asking, "How'd I do?"

"You're a quick study too," Jack said, smirk on his face and the gerudo clone gave a thumbs up.

"Get ready," Maxwell said on the mike.

"Got it, my boys are too," the man said, "I'll call you back."

Ganondorf and G2 help Mario get back to his clone brother and waves goodbye. G2 saying, "Not bad of a day I'd say...but we still have a lot of work to do."

"I know," he said then saw someone wave him down and asked, "Something wrong?"

"Yes sir. There's something I need and you're great for it. I can't find a ladder and I can't take the one from the study, but remembered you're pretty tall. It's a book I need for my research."

"No problem, I'll be with you in a moment."

The man leaves, but G2 felt something was wrong on the request and tugs on his sleeve whispering to him, "There's something off here. Be careful."

"I'll try. Watch my back," he said, getting bad vibes as well and walks over to the man, "Show the way."

"This way," he said and walks into another room with him.

G2 turns into a fly and follows as quietly as she could as they walked into different parts of the building. The man opens a door to this 'room' making her think, "That wasn't there before..."

"In here?" Ganondorf asked, "I can't see inside."

"The light switch is inside the doorway," he said, noticing the clone was getting suspicious.

The clone looks inside for a moment, only to get shoved into the room, his face hitting steel bars. The sound of a door closing behind him very close by made him say "Hey! What's going on?!" He quickly realised his can't turn or sit as the bars around him were forcing him to do so, "I can't move!"

"Maxwell sends his regards," the man said, "You're going to be in there a long time until you change from your 'good' ways"

"Never!"

"Then relax, that is if you can," the man said with a laugh.

"I knew it! I need to get to Leo now!" G2 said and flew off from the room before changing back to normal.

It didn't mean she wasn't noticed and the man shouts, "Hey! Get back here!"

Ganondorf heard the shout and thought with fear, "Don't get caught. Please don't get caught." The back of his right hand starts to glow to this making him look down for a moment and say, "What's this? Wait..."

"Have what?"

"The Triforce of Power?"

He looks at her in confusion.

"You...really don't know do you?" she asked in stun, now believing him, "Look at the back of your right hand." He does but then hears, with a little laughter "Remove the gauntlet first, silly." When he does, he spots a dark birth mark in the shape of a triangle.

"What the?" he sounds.

"I'm guessing that's all you have, the birthmark."

"I'm going to need this...Triforce thing to get out. I need to hurry...she's in danger," he thought and knows his hand is still free, before making it into a fist, focusing hard and making the glowing get stronger and brighter.

"Come back here!" the man shouts at G2, ready to get out a weapon.

"Not on your life!" she said.

Other clones hear the trouble and Bowser was the first to notice it. He doesn't leave right away and wait for her to run by then sticks his leg out at the last second, tripping the foe before walking out. The man was about to get back up but was pinned by Bowser's foot and his weight keeps him there, and the koopa shouts to her, "Keep going! I got him!"

"Thanks!" she shouts back as she ran.

"No! Get back here!!" the man shouts.

"You should've thought better. I mean, causing trouble when there's many clones nearby, helping each other out. Not the brightest move," Bowser taunts.

She continued to run, but stops to catch her breath, Jack nearby noticed this walking over asking, "What's wrong?"

"Ganon's in trouble!" she said, "There's this man that locked him in a room and he can't get out! He can't do anything!"

Jack growls to this and got out a mike of his own calling Leo. He hears, "Hello?"

"This is Jack! We got trouble and I need assistance! G2 was saying that Nova's is trapped!"

"Trapped? I'll right over!"

"Bowser has the man that did this. You just need to get in the room!" she said.

"Got it," the solider said, "Show me the way." She nods to this and runs ahead, Jack following.

Bowser still has his foot on the man, arms crossed. He spots Jack and G2 and said, "Don't worry. He didn't get far, not that he could."

"You're breaking my back..." he said, now in pain.

"You deserve it too," Leo said running with Alice, "Where is he?"

"I locked him in a special room. You need to realise that some clones can't be tamed and this will work against you!"

"Not when he's done with you," Leo said, grabbing the foe, by the shirt and lifting him once Bowser gets off, and drags him to the very room.

"I'll help you just in case," Bowser said walking with them to the very area. Once there then man taunts, "Good luck getting him out."

"No key huh?" Bowser said, "I'll bash it open!"

"Don't! Ganon's near the door, and you might hurt him!" G2 said

"That close? Dang!"

"Although...that light wasn't there before," she continued, looking under the door, "...Brace yourself."

"Light? It's supposed to be-" the man starts before hearing a roar of anger and the door busts open by a single punch.

The dust clears and we all see the clone, head down and fist out, before it lowers as well. G2 spots the marking on his fist dimming once again and said, "He has it! The Triforce of Power!"

"Is this good or bad...?" Jack asked.

Ganondorf looks up now, and opens his eyes, to see they were black in colour now. He looks around and spots his foe and roars at him. "No...this isn't supposed to happen!" the man said and was about to run, but didn't realise of the clone's speed as he was grabbed by the neck, before he even got a step in and was lifted off the ground, making him cry out, "Let me go!"

Ganon was about to punch him with the same power he had, showing darkness on his arm, and Leo shouts, "Don't do it! It's not worth it! You'll be the same as him if you hurt him."

The clone was so angry he couldn't hear him but stops when hears from G2's cries, "Please stop! You'll be the bad guy if you act out!"

"Listen to her, big fella," Bowser said, backing her up, "Just calm down...you're free."

His eyes change back to normal and realised what he was doing, dropping the foe and backs up saying, "Sorry about that. I don't know what got into me."

The man coughs from lack of air, before he was pulled away by nearby guards. Nova looks at his right hand again, to see the glowing symbol fade out completely and starts to rub it...hard as if wanting to remove it.

"Stop," Leo said, "You'll hurt yourself."

"Better then hurting others," he said, still rubbing.

Bowser stops him and said, "You were desperate to get out of the spot you were in. I would have acted out the same way so don't blame it as it helped you get out. Didn't it?"

He looks at it once again and said, "I suppose you're right. It's just...I don't remember what happened fully. I might have injured everyone here."

"You didn't," G2 said, "I think this might be a good test for you too."

"I don't like it."

"Not to get locked up, but to test patience. I have a feeling you'll control it in no time."

"Can we do it later? I'm still trying to calm myself...and my hand is sore."

"From you rubbing it as hard as you did, no wonder," Alice said.

"No, it's from punching that door," Jack said, seeing bloody marks on the knuckle.

G2 walks over and said, "Come on, big guy. We better get you back."

"Yeah, I'm with you there," he said then added, "And I like that name."

"It's called a nickname. You want me to call you that?"

"I'll answer to that too."

"Awesome! Lets get going and get you fixed up" she said, and he nods following Bowser behind them.

"Did you see that?" Leo asked, "He calmed down once he heard her voice."

"That's huge. She's key to keeping him calm as well as the other clones backing her up," Alice said, "Bowser did his part to the fullest."

"Now we really need to watch people here. I don't want anymore problems."

"What happened back there? I saw another get removed from the building," Maxwell said

"It worked for a time, however the child calmed him down and reset him back to his senses," a scientist said to him studying the event.

The dragon growls and said, "How can something so feeble change things so quickly? What other tricks do we have left?"

"There's something that we were working on, but it's not ready yet."

"Step up your game now. Kill that clone in anyway possible. Her as well!"

"Yes sir," he said leaving.

Ganondorf was sitting in his tank, thinking to himself, trying to piece everything together as well as G2.

"Coin for your thoughts?" Mario asked when he walked in and sat beside his tank.

"Just trying to figure out this whole thing..."

"What's that?"

"The future. What will happen to us...to me."

"Hard to say on that...but it can't be all bad. Our enemies are having a hard time with us."

"But for how long..."

Chapter 33

"Is it finished?" Maxwell asked, pacing back and forth.

"Just about, just give me a few more minutes," a scientist said then looks at his work, "Nevermind, it's done."

"Good! Make sure that Ganondorf look alike gets full doseage of it," he said, "And it better work."

"It will be done."

"Nova? Ganon? Where are you?" Jack called out down the hallways of the building, "Now where did that clone walk off to?" The solider had been looking for him for several minutes, getting him slightly frustrated and was about to give up when he heard metal hitting metal. Now curious, walks toward the sound. He walked into the garage area to see a large vehicle and the clone under it, working on it. "Ganondorf?"

"Jack?" the clone's voice was heard, as well as small thud against the machine, as he rose from surprise, "Ow!"

"You alright?"

"I'll be ok in a second," he said as he slid out, rubbing his head.

"Sorry about that, but what are you making?" Jack asked, a little confused.

"Something that came out of my head," he said, grabbing a towal to clean his hands, "It was bugging me, so I started working on it. Supposed to be a car of sorts"

"So you don't know?"

"Not yet," he said, feeling awkward, "I want to see what it can do at least."

"That mind of yours, boggles me."

"I can't figure it out either," the clone said with a chuckle then stretches and said, "I need a break."

"Good thing. Someone called you, and it's making me a worried."

"How so?"

"He's acting odd and is a little antsy. Like he wants to run," Jack said.

"OK, I'll avoid him."

"I want to check him out however. He wants you the most and I want to know what he's hiding."

"Are you sure about this?"

"Mostly for backup as well. I need something to prove we have a mole."

Ganon nods and said, "Lead the way." The solider nods and walks ahead.

"This better work, or Maxwell is going to get our hides," a worker said.

"Don't worry, I got your back in case anyway," another said then heard foot steps, "Get ready."

Jack walks in before Ganondorf does and asked, "We're here. What's going on?"

"Ah good, you're here as well. There's some files I need you to look at. I need to know if they are needed to go to Leo or not."

The clone worries at that, knowing it might be a way to seperate the duo, but sighs when he said, "I'll look at them later. I want to know what you need the clone for."

"Lifting an old desk. He's pretty strong right?"

"I'll help him with it as well then."

"Even better! That's makes it better for us."

The group walks into an old office to see a broken down desk and Jack said, "Wow, this thing's seen better days."

"Yeah...The thing fell apart today. I was hoping for more use out of it."

Jack was about to grab one end of the desk, when he was hit hard in the head from behind, knocking him out.

"He's right!" Ganondorf said anger as he saw the two men walking to him.

One saying "Sorry about that, but I don't want anyone to interfere. He need you to test if this will kill you or not."

"And you're not going to find out!" the clone shouts at them.

"Now!"

A third person jumps on his back and he felt a sharp pain on his neck as a needle was inserted and it's contents pushed in, before it was pulled back out. The man jumps off as Nova placed his hand on his neck. He turns to the person quickly in anger, but now was getting dizzy as well as tired. He tries to stand and almost fell over a couple of times.

"It's working, but not as fast as we like. You have another dose?" one worker asked.

"This is the only one that was given to us," the third said.

Ganondorf cries in pain and confusion, and with the cries the lights go out in the room, making it hard to see anything.

"What the?! That clone can do that?!"

"Might be his death scream. Lets find a way out," the second worker said, then they hear a hiss, "What was that?"

"There must be a snake in the room or something. I hope so. I hate rats," the first worker said.

"It sounds...close..."the third said then turns to see a pair of large glowing snake eyes looking at him, "What the?!"

The two workers then hear a blood cerdeling scream just as they were figuring out where the exit was and the first asked in fear, "What was that?!"

Getting out a gun, the second worker walks back in saying, "I got this, you keep going."

The first man nods and turns back around only to see two pairs of glowing eyes looking at him and said, "No! Please, don't!"

Another scream was heard and the gun man turns around to see his partner held up in the air, now with a hole through his chest, before he was dropped to the ground. The gunman reacts and fires at the figure, only to feel pain in his hand as it was bitten. He walked backwards, holding his hand, but hits the wall behind him. The two pairs of eyes were seen before a third pair appears, but more human.

"No...way..." he said, before hearing another hiss "Please! I was just doing an order! Spare me!" The hiss was heard again, before a third scream was heard.

"Ugh, my head," Jack said, getting up and looking around. The lights were back on, and the floor had massive amounts of blood as well as three bodies of the workers on the ground, "What just happened here?" He walks around to see Ganondorf sitting on the ground, back against the wall, and hands covering his face, crying to which the solider asked, "Are you okay?"

"No," he said, "I...I don't know what happened...I woke up...and saw them...dead!"

"Calm down. What do you remember?"

"I saw you get knocked out and then I was jumped, before I felt pain in my neck."

"Which side?"

"Left."

Jack takes a look at the neck, to see the bruse and said, "Stay put. I'll get help."

He nods to this, but then blacks out making the soilder shout out for help.

chapter 34

Ganondorf was back in his tank lying down, Leo watching over him as Alice walked over asking, "How is he?"

"Still out," he said, "Whatever they put in him, it's working."

"He'll live," Andrew said, "Sophia told me the chemical injected in him is effecting his movement and actions. However, he's quickly adapting to it."

"What happened back there?"

"Two workers needed help with something and I was on edge about this," Jack started "I told Ganondorf this but I stayed with him in case things went wrong...However I didn't count on getting attacked from behind. I woke up to see the men, dead on the floor."

"And he doesn't know anything?" Alice asked.

"He must have blacked out as well. He doesn't remember anything. He was scared out of his mind however."

"Seeing something like that would do it," Leo said, "Something tells me he acted out, but this time had no control."

"I did hear a cry of confusion from him. Sounds like that...stuff effected his head. This is Maxwell's doing, I know for sure."

Crying was heard again from the clone when he woke up, and he said, "I did this...I was the only one awake."

"Do you remember anything?"

"I heard the screams from them...like it was from my hands," he adds, standing up.

"Don't blame yourself yet," Leo said, "What do you remember after being jumped?"

"The pain to my neck then I felt weight to my back as well as everything was dark around me."

"That might be a clue. Stay right there," Jack said and walked over to a light switch, before turning the lights off.

"What are you doing?" Alice asked, before hearing hissing. They look at the tank Ganondorf was in to see two pairs of glowing eyes, looking at the group. Leo brings out a flash light and shines the light on the eyes, to see snake like creatures with massive teeth on them and said, "What has he done?"

"Uh...I have no idea..." Ganondorf said creeped out, looking at the snakes, but they don't do anything but just look at the CEO.

"That solves the mystery. That chemical turned out to be a saving grace for you," he said, "It seems they appeared to save you."

"Why kill them though?!"

"They acted out. I have a funny feeling they won't do anything if I was in front of you with them out," Andrew said.

"I rather not test that..."

"That's fine with me," Leo said, "They don't like the light so I'll have to see about-wait...is that cape ready?"

"Should be," Jack said and was about to turn on the lights when Leo, "Not yet, get the cape first." He nods and walked off.

Something went wrong however as the power cut out entirely and everyone was on high alert as the tank opens up once again from loss of power.

"Great...someone wants us all dead!" Alice said getting out her weapon.

"This better work," one of Maxwell's men said, hand on the fuse box.

"Get out of there!" his partner said and they ran out, but didn't realize someone was watching them and started to work on the box.

Andrew asked, "Something wrong?"

"The power's been cut!" Leo said, "And the clone's been released! We might be in danger with those snake things!"

Tapping on the floor, the scientist used his cane to look for Nova, but he hears, "I'm over here."

"I figured you wouldn't go far," Andrew said turning around and reaches out, Nova taking his hand.

"Andrew don't do anything reckless!" Leo said, still trying to see, but once his eyes adjusted he saw Andrew with Ganondorf, the snakes out of his back looking at the blind man, "Oh no...Please don't hurt him."

One of the heads lower to look at the scientist, out of curiosity, then raised back. The second comes down and licked Andrew's face, making him say and feels around, "If that's one of the snakes, it's awfully nice." It lowers it's head and was getting petted, purring. The first one comes back down and nudges him and he said, laughing, "OK, I'll pet you too."

The power was turned back on outside the room and Jack came back in the room a little worse for wear, "I was trying to chase two people that ran off. Now I need to get on the treadmill more."

"That tells us everything," Alice said as the cape was given to Nova. The snakes hide as it was put on, then pop back out when it was done. The lights were turned back on, but now the snakes stay out and looked around.

A clone appears nearby and knocked on the doorway so not to scare the group saying, "I turned the power back on. There was two men that turned it off. They same ones you were chasing Jack."

"More problems..." Leo said, "Nice job, Waluigi."

The snakes look at Ganondorf at this point and he said, before they tucked back into his cape, "Looks like everything is going to calm down. Makes me wonder...is he really trying to kill me because he stinks at it."

"That didn't kill him either?!" Maxwell asked, "Where are those men?!" The two men that turned the power off came back, gasping for air and the dragon asked, in surprise, "You're back so soon. What happened to the other three?"

"Dead sir," One said.

"Dead? The clone as well?"

"No...he changed and suddenly he killed them, one by one. Don't get close to that Ganondorf fellow, there's now these snakes that come out of his back."

"They appeared when Ganon turned the lights off from his shouts!" the second said.

This interested Maxwell greatly. The thought of making the clone into a weapon sounds even better as it looked like Ganondorf is getting more aggressive to his ears. He said, not even mad, "Well now...not bad. I wonder if I can push him farther. Good thing you came back, alive, I might need you again to see what other changes that man does."

Chapter 35

"You want me to do what?" a scientist asked.

"Make a special chemical that can produce large amounts of heat," Maxwell said.

"It might take a while sir."

"Take as long as you like. I figured that last one would kill the clone, but if it makes him more dangerous to Leo, that's fine with me. That girl won't be able to calm him in time."

"I like to report something, sire. There's a person that stays with the clone the most and not just the young lady," one of the returning guards said.

"You got a name?"

"Goes by Andrew Birkin."

"I remember him...He's probably the one that helped make him as well. Sneak in there and 'remove' him from the building."

"Understood."

"It's odd those snakes come out in low light," Andrew said, checking Ganondorf's vitals while he sat on a medical table, "Let alone, hasn't changed you when it comes to strength."

The clone starts getting annoyed about these events and said, "They really want me dead. They are pretty determined I'll say that much."

"That's because they want control," Andrew said, "Maxwell is set on this and wants everything to rule."

"Does Leo and the others know about this?"

"Sadly yes. Everyone is on edge about him and his men. Some are killers, but they fear that dragon more then anything."

"For some reason, it makes me want to take him on."

"I know you want to, but it's best you don't. At least not now," the scientist said while checking something in the papers and said, "What's this? You got stronger again and in a few minutes."

Ganondorf looks at himself to that and said "I don't feel a thing."

"It's slowly building up it seems and you haven't moved an inch. You can't control this can you?" Andrew asked.

"I...don't know. I'm trying to figure out what's happening to me in general."

"Not good. I better tell the others just in case it gets bad."

"Do you want me to come with you?"

"You may," the young man smiled.

Andrew helps Ganondorf for the time being with getting his gear back on, as one of Maxwell's men took a peek through the window at both of them.

"Andrew is close but that clone is with him," the man said on a mike to his boss, "This might be a problem."

"That's fine. Once that look-a-like sees he's dead, he'll go into rage. It's got to work," Maxwell said on the other line.

"Very well. It will be done," he said and hid when both men walked out of the lab.

Ganondorf started to be uneasy however and said, "Something doesn't feel right..."

"Are you unwell?" the scientist asked.

"No...I feel like something is going to happen."

"All these attacks have made you more cautious."

"I'm not sure on that," Ganondorf said, with a serious yet worried look. He rubs the back of his neck, "It's a weird feeling. Like I feel someone is near, but I can't see them."

"Fasinating! You must have learned this when had that small strength increase as well. This is great news."

The man hides more carefully now and whispers into the mike again, "Now we have a problem. The clone has gotten more aware of us."

"How? Is he changing?" Maxwell asked.

"From what I heard, yes. He seems to be getting stronger too, and they just left the lab."

"What a pain..."

Ganondorf look around then gives up for now, thinking, "I know someone's around...but how?"

"Are you coming?" Andrew asked as he walks off, not hearing the clone's heavier foot steps.

"Sorry, I was thinking about something," he said, looking around, before following.

Once both men disappeared, the stranger walks out and said, "Sneaking up on the clone will be a problem now. I think he learned how to sense people."

"This is indeed a problem...Return to me. I'll have to think of a way around this."

"Yes sir."

"So you're not sure if he can control this power increase?" Leo asked.

"From the readings, I'm not sure," Andrew said, "Also, he had a strange feeling not long ago like someone was nearby."

"That got my attention. Could you test it?"

"You don't mind do you?" the scientist turns to the clone.

He shakes his head, but then asked, "How are you going to do that?"

Leo thinks then asked Jack, "Could you hide somewhere in the building? Somewhere he hasn't been to yet."

"Yes sir," he said, then leaves.

"Let's give him about twenty minutes to hide," Leo said, "We will follow you when I say the word."

"Now you're making me nervous. I don't know if I can do it again," Ganondorf said.

"It's fine. If you can't do it again that means it's was just a feeling. Maxwell has put you on edge and I don't blame you."

He makes a heavy sigh to this and said, "I guess whenever you're ready."

The CEO walks over to the clone and hands him a small book for him read for the time being and said, "Relax. It will be OK."

Twenty minutes had passed quickly and Ganondorf was now walking down the hallways of the building. He kept looking around different labs and offices, even the gym nearby. He was starting to get annoyed and said, "I don't...sense...anything."

"Are you sure this a good idea? This might be a little new to him," Alice said, walking with Leo.

"I'm curious to see what happens. I told Jack where to hide," he said, then noticed Nova stopped and asked, "Something wrong?"

"That feeling came back," Ganondorf said, "And it's close."

"Lead the way."

The clone walks over to another lab and looks around carefully then walks close to a side lab, opens the door and spots Jack inside, spooking him and the solider said, "Whoa, not bad and you never came here."

"Andrew is right. Ganon seems able to sense people nearby," the CEO said impressed.

"I have no idea how I'm doing that either," the clone said.

"Don't worry about it. At least we'll know if we get attacked again this time around," Leo adds walking to him, and placed his hand on the clone's shoulder, "You still surprise me. What with everything happening to you as well as the changes you get seem to help us all in many ways. If I know Karson you probably have his strong drive too. Granted you got nervous back there, but that's normal. When you protected the young lady as well as me, it shows of your courage and your will to protect others, unlike your name sake. Don't change your ways."

Ganondorf makes a kind smile and said, "I will stay on the path, I chose."

"Where did he learn that?" Jack thought as they walked back.

Chapter 36

"With the clone now able to sense us we'll have to wait until Andrew is alone," Maxwell said, in annoyance.

"We'll have to see the patterns they take then," a guard said, "Is there anyone else we have to worry about?"

"Jack Krauser is another and I kept hearing Alice Wong is also with Leo," another guard said, making the dragon flinch.

"Alice...that cur..." Maxwell said, "Change of plans...get her and if the clone is with her, kill him too if you can, if not make him mad at everyone else so he kills them."

"Understood. We are bringing one of our best assassins to get the job done."

"You got shot before, I hope this new armor works well for you," Krauser said, helping Ganondorf with it.

"I agree with you," the very clone said, "That is something I don't want repeated."

"I tested it," Alice said, "I'm pretty sure Maxwell won't have much luck now."

"Why am I like this this? It's just light."

"That's just it. The other Ganon can't handle it because of his ways. However, even though you don't do those things, you'll still get hurt. Thankfully it's not enough to kill."

"I'm not feeling good about this. I mean, what if he's covered on that too?"

"You got a point. Is it possible to defend it?" Krauser asked.

"You know that's extremely hard to block a bullet," Alice said in disbelief.

"Uh...remember the time he made his arm into a blade? He could defend himself."

"Oh right. You're able to do the same thing, but-"

"Am I hearing right? You have the same thing?" Nova asked the solider, in shock. He thought the claim he heard was made up.

"Yes, but I rarely use it these days, I rather not make a scene," Jack said.

"Maybe you two should head to the gym. Practice with it there," Alice said.

"That will be messy. You have a tarp or something to lay out on the floor?"

"I'll see what I can find," she said, walking out.

Nova looks at Jack and asked, "Why do I have something like yours?"

"I have no idea honestly," he said, "Whatever was in that vial, made you have abilities that we didn't count on. Things that try to kill you, seem to make you stronger. Like someone knew that you could be stopped." He makes a small chuckle and added "No offense, but I still wonder why you and only you. You don't need this."

Ganondorf didn't say anything to that, but thought, "I wonder that too still. It's starting to get on my nerves."

When Alice came back, she said, "I found a couple of large table cloths lying around. I figured they were thrown out."

"It will do. I hope you're ready," Jack said.

Ganon nods to this, before following the solider. Thoughts, going through his mind as well as the voices in his head. What is he really a clone of? Is he actually a monster, or something else? No one judged him, except G2 in the past, but what else could try to change things? Once at the gym, Ganondorf snapped out of it and looked around.

"You haven't been here have you?" Jack asked, "We really need to give you a chance to explore."

"It's something, that's for sure," he said, looking around as the pieces of cloth were placed on the ground. Jack stood on one while Nova stood on another.

"It's been a while for me, so if I look like I'm in pain, don't worry about it," he said. He nods then stood his ground in case as the solider raised his right arm and started to growl, changing it slowly. The clone started to worry as he wasn't sure if he could do it again, looking at his right arm before looking back at Krauser as he said, his arm a blade, "Whew, that took a bit. Your turn."

He looks at his arm and said "I have to figure out how to do that again. It happened without my control."

"Take your time. You'll get it."

He looks at his arm again and starts to focus a little, struggling as he did before trying a little harder and said, after a few minutes, "Nothing. Is it just a temporary change?" The clone then looks around and said, "That feeling's returned...someone's here."

A gunshot was heard as well as a scream. Alice was seen falling to the ground, Jack changes his arm back to normal and he shouts as he ran to her side, "Alice!"

Ganondorf turns at this point to see the gunman lowering his arm and said, "You should have been quicker to sense me. Maxwell sent his regards as you are all the biggest threat to this world. You are being deceived clone, we are here to save you."

"That's a lie, and you know it!" Jack shouts then turns to Alice again, "Hang in there."

"Save me from what?" the clone asked now curious.

"Humans. They are always in the way, killing each other and starting wars."

This made Ganondorf remember what Andrew said about them starting wars, but made note of the tone of how he said it. Sorrow and a lot of it. G2 was in fear when the gunmen charged in as she couldn't fight back. This made him shake his head and said, "That point is weak. They aren't all like that. They didn't do any of that to me."

"Give it time. Once your strong enough, you'll be sent away to be the next weapon. They don't want allies, just tools."

This was getting Nova mad and shouts, "I don't believe any of it!" The outburst made his arm change into the blade once more and was about to charge at the man however he stopped when that happened.

Looking his arm and he hears from the gunmen, "See? All it took was making you angry to make that appear. That anger is key to fighting...to kill all. Do you understand now?"

The clone pauses to this, lowering the arm and makes a smirk saying, "I suppose you're right."

"No, Nova, you weren't made for this," Jack said.

"Don't worry, I know that," he said, turning to the solider, and shows a slight personality change, acting c0cky, "It's clear he doesn't know me." Turning back around he adds, "You weren't in the room a while back, so I'll repeat what was said. I'm staying on the path I chose. I can tell what you are doing and it's not going to work."

"Very well, I'll make this quick," he ended it as Neutron Nova went into a stance.

chapter 37

The assassin fires at the clone with his hand gun making Ganondorf put up his guard, making the blade on his arm turn to a shield as he did so reflecting the shot. Seeing this, he puts his left arm behind himself raised his right arm slightly to protect his head as he moved forward. Seeing this the man turns his gun slightly at an angle so it would bounce off and hit him from below. He fires but didn't get what he wished, as Nova lowered the shield at that point of the shot and it was blocked.

"OK, I have no idea why or how I knew it would happen," Nova said, then starts to get a bad headache, making his arm turn back to normal, and put both hands on his head.

"He's changing again...at the worst time," Jack growls.

The gunman walks over as the clone continued to struggle and points his gun to Ganon's head saying, "Too bad you don't see our ways. It would have been great to have you as an ally. Good bye."

During this Nova's mind continued to change, making more parts become active as phazon takes them and gives them to their host. He starts to see what could happen to everyone if he didn't act and his muscles adapt for action. He starts to learn many different fighting styles as a result to the change and it was proven from his eyes, as they change for a moment turning dark and numbers went by once again. The shot was sent, but Ganondorf dodges at the last second, making it miss. Shocking the assassin, and Jack as he watched. "Oh sorry, was that supposed to hit me?" the clone taunts at the gunman while getting up, whom was still in shock that he dodged a point blank shot.

"What?! How?!" he asked in shock as he took steps back. He fires again, but this time the clone stepped or bent to the side to dodge or
duck, each shot missing the target. That's when the clone thought of something off the top of his head and starts to run around the assassin in high speeds.

"What am I seeing?" Jack thought as this was happening, seeing nothing but a dark blur "He's so fast!"

The assassin kept aiming at spots he thought Ganondorf was at, firing each time. It stops making the man look around and asked, "Where'd he go?"

He felt a tap on his shoulder and when he turned, he was punched in the chest and sent to a wall, hearing, "Right here!"

Jack was shocked to this change then looked back at Alice and noticed she stopped breathing, "No...please don't be dead."

Hearing that Nova walks over to the duo, and asked, "Where was she shot at?"

"I fear at her heart," he said, upset, "I can't do anything...we can't-"

"Can I try something?"

"Why...she's long gone." he said in tears.

"The change taught me something," the clone said, and places his left hand on the wound. It starts to glow, making the bullet go to his hand, shocking Jack. Nova throws it away, before placing his right hand on her now, the marking glowing now and slowly starts to heal her. The wound closes, but he keeps his hand on her chest. The assassin gets to his feet, arm around his chest from being punched so hard. He tries to reach for his gun as Ganon was busy and once in his hands he slowly walks over the group.

Alice's eyes start to open, and said, "What happened?"

Jack was in shock. He saw his partner die before him, but now she's speaking like nothing happened. No trace of the wound or even scarring to be seen. Ganondorf gets to his feet at that point, knowing it's going to be ok now and the gunman was about to fire at him. Jack was going to warn the clone, however that wasn't needed as Ganondorf knew he was there, showing this by slaming the back of his fist into the man's face without turning, breaking his nose. The man shouts and covers it from shock and pain.

Nova said while turning to him, "Want to try again, 'pal?'"

"No wonder he wants you dead," he said in pain, "You truely are a threat."

"Then I have something to tell him," Ganondorf said in a serious tone, "He shouldn't be messing with me, because a lot of his men realised I'm an even bigger threat when angered. I'm going to let you go, but don't you dare come back."

"It's not that easy," he said, dropping the gun on the floor, "I know what he's like."

Easing himself, the clone asked, "No different for you either? One of his men freaked out at the thought of returning."

"So he got out of there?" the man asked then sighed in relief, "I'm glad. He has it easier then me. I'm too well known for my work."

Alice gets to her feet with Jack and Ganon said, "How about this? Tell him I took the blow for Alice and you barely escaped."

"That might work, but there's problem with that. There's still many of Maxwell's men over here and I hate to tell you, I'm not the only person sent to kill someone."

"What?!"

"You got stronger again," Andrew said, hands on his papers, "I hope he didn't feel anything." The sound of footsteps behind him was heard which he added, "I'll be with you in a moment."

"No need," a new voice was heard, "Death is calling."

"What? No!"

Ganondorf heard many shots and this made him run off quickly to it.

The gunman, just sat on the floor and said, "He better be careful."

The clone got to him and saw the damage, Andrew shot up on the right side of his chest and arms and struggling to breathe, "No...Andrew..."

"It will be okay," he said, between breaths.

"Not like that, it won't, I got to help you."

"There is something you can do then. Look in my coat pocket, there's a vial inside." He does so and takes it out hearing, "Now place it in a needle. You know how to do that right?"

"I think so," he said and walks around the lab, looking for one and does so putting the virus in it, "It's done."

"Good. Now inject it into me," he said.

"Are you sure that's safe?"

In Andrew's mind it wasn't, but he was told it was ok. He had a lot of doubts, but wanting to see Nova get stronger and live a good life, that hesitation vanished and said, "It's perfectly safe, don't worry."

Ganondorf bends down to his level, removing his coat for a moment, before injecting the virus in him.

"Thank you," he said, and started to react.

"Andrew! I knew it, you lied to me on safety!"

The reaction was short however and the scientist gets up saying, "It's part of the effect that it's working. That vial was given to me if something like this were to happen." His eyes started to clear his vision as well and started to look around, "What's this? I..."

"Are you ok?" the clone asked and noticed he didn't bother to pick up his cane, "You forgot your cane."

Andrew looks at Nova and said, with a big smile, "I don't need it."

"Are you-" he asked, then watched as he walked over before looking up to him and, to this, waves a little to him to check, "Wait a minute. You can see me?"

"Yes! I can see again!"

He didn't know what was in that vial, but didn't care as his best friend not only lives, but got back what was lost and made a big smile in joy saying, "That's great!"

"You didn't die?" the shooter returning, making both men turn, "I'll make sure of it this time."

Ganondorf was about to protect Andrew when he was shot in the shoulder by another gunman, making him react as it was from light based bullets and it has missed the armor.

"Did you forget that we are ready for you as well?" he said.

"Nova!" Andrew cried out in fear.

"Don't kill him yet," the first gunman said, "Maxwell wants him hurt but not too much."

"But I thought he wanted him dead," the second said.

"I told him he might of use to us after all is said and done"

Ganondorf growls, before watching Andrew take his spot, saying, "Looks like it's my turn."

"Don't do it," he said.

"I have to. I owe you a lot, and if I have to die to protect you...well, I accept it."

"Fair enough," the enemy said.

"A little warning to you, gentlemen. This is going to be, not only a different outcome, but a nightmare."

"Quit talking," one foe said as they both aim then noticed Andrew was trembling, not of fear, but he was starting to change.

"Andrew?" Ganondorf asked, and took steps back, hand on his shoulder.

"Stop me, if I get out of hand," he said, tears in his eyes, before screaming in pain. His right arm changes rapitly into a giant claw and he became more musculer as well as taller. A large single eye opens up on the shoulder as well, roaring again now a twisted version of his own, before walking over.



"He had the G virus?!" the enemy shouts and starts firing at him, only to see Andrew take each shot like it was nothing.

"G virus? That's what it can do?" the clone thought before covering his eyes as the now monster, scientist swung and killed one gunman with the massive claw.

"No...get away from me!" the other said as he backed up.

"Andrew stop!" Ganon shouts. This does make him pause from his action and, instead of attacking again, made an inhuman roar again at the enemy, the foe running away as fast he could. Andrew turns to Nova, making him ready for a fight, even though he was still in pain from the bullet. The monster looks at the wound, and looks at his claw before using the index finger of it to remove the bullet with ease, the clone saying in confusion, as well relief, "Are you still with me?"

"Somehow, I am," he said with a smile, before changing back to normal, but feints in the process, having Ganondorf catch him.

"No! Not again!" the clone shouts, "Someone! Anyone! Help!"

Chapter 38

Andrew wakes up and sees darkness around him and said to himself, not surprised that he's back to normal, "Blind again...that was short lived. Now where did I put that cane...?"

"Andrew..." a voice was heard, making him look around, "Andrew, can you hear me?"

"Yes, I hear you. Who's this?"

"Would you believe the very 'virus' is talking to you?"

"How can that be possible? Could you come out, please?"

A single eye shows itself in the darkness, startling him, and it continues, "You are safe now. Everyone is. I know, hard to believe that I would help you when the other 'G' virus caused so much pain."

"How can this be? There's a different kind?"

"Not really," it said, the eye slightly closing and looks away, in disappointment, "Curse that old Umbrella. They tried to clone me, and as you know, that mindless beast was the result."

"So that's why you gave me control," Andrew sighs in relief, having it look at him again, "You were just trying to protect me."

"Your boss is in danger as well. I can tell you what you can make to help."

"Leo? I'm not surprised at this point...I don't think I can convince him to inject anything in him."

"Not now. It's best to wait it out anyway. Right now, you have to wake up. Your friend is worried and as I've noticed, really cares about you."

"Nova! Is he alive?"

"Yes and he's fine. Just shook up."

"Oh dear, I better not keep him waiting then. Thank you...I'm sorry, what is your name?"

"Just call me G. Simpliar that way."

"OK," Andrew said with a smile, "Again, thank you."

"Talk to you later," it said as everything turns bright once more.

"You injected the G virus in him?! How did he have it?!" Leo shouts at the clone.

"I don't know about this virus or how he got it," Ganondorf said, confused and worried, "I'm asking myself the same thing."

Andrew groans as he got up, making both men turn to him and asked, laughing, "Did you worry about me? I need more sleep."

"What happened? I heard you changed into that monster form. Like William Birkin did years ago," Leo asked, making the clone more confused now, by the name alone.

"Did I?" he asked, cleaning himself, "I don't remember anything. I must have blacked out."

"I'm going to have you checked out to see what's going on."

"Wait, lets not be rash. With everything happening we might be going crazy. Did you check on Alice?" Ganondorf asked.

Cursing to himself, he said, "Not yet."

"I suggest you go to her first. She was the one that needs more help. I healed her, but-"

"Wait...you healed her? You had medical equipment at the site or something?"

"Uh, sort of," he said, trying to find the words.

"Nevermind. We'll talk about this later," Leo said and walked off, in frustration, "Maxwell is making us all insane!"

Ganondorf sighs in relief, then hears from Andrew, "I suppose you're mad with me? You'd be right to be that way."

"I'm not sure what to think right now," he said turning to him, "That form was something, however this William Birkin confuses me. He a relative of yours?"

"No, but we look alike. He was...not stable in the mind. When the samples was taken from him and was left for dead, he had the last one in his hands, which he injected into himself to try and live. He lived alright, but it was flawed and he became a beast with the mind of an animal very quickly.

Ganondorf stood away from him at that point and said, "Please tell me you don't have this problem."

"Funny you say that. I don't, but had a friendly chat with it, or rather G."

"You talked to the virus? And I thought I was weird."

Andrew laughs to that and said, "I'm not joking. I don't know if it can talk outside my head, as proof."

"Mind if I answer that?" the G's voice was heard, making Nova look around. A small eye appears on the back Andrew's right hand and it said, "Hello gentleman."

This horrified Ganondorf for a short moment, but got close as Andrew looked as well and said, "You look like you need eyedrops."

The eye closes for a moment, and laughter was heard before saying, "Sorry, it won't work. It's always like that."

"So what I saw was the truth. You saved him too as did me. I thank you."

"Actually since we are talking, can you help Andrew and I with something?"

"Name it and I'll see what I can do."

The lone gunman ran out of the building, before gasping for air and slows down. Walking to his group, Maxwell spots him and asked, "Is the deed done?"

"Would have, but a problem showed up."

"What now?"

"Andrew...killed my partner when he changed into a monster!"

"Your kidding? What of the one sent to kill Alice?"

"He hasn't returned? Maybe he's still on the mission."

"Something tells me he either died as well, or betrayed me. I'm really starting to get fed up with the failures. Is that chemical ready?"

"Just about, sir," a scientist said.

"Hurry up with it," Maxwell said, in anger, "I want that place to burn!"

chapter 39

Alice was X-Rayed to see of any other injuries other then the shot were present, but it showed she was clean and Leo thought, "Nothing...How did he do it and when did he get healing abilities? This clone is something else and may be a saving grace for everyone and Andrew is acting strange now. Nova is saying he can see now from the virus in him. I don't get it! How and when did he get it and let alone how did he hide it for this long?"

"Are we finished?" the young woman asked.

"Ah...yes. You may leave," he snaps out of it and he walks into another room to think.

Jack walks in and asked Alice, back leaning against the doorway nearby and asked, "How'd it go?"

"Normal, for me anyway," she said, getting her gear back on, "I still don't understand what for. I feel fine."

"You really don't remember do you? You were shot in the heart, died, but Nova somehow revived you."

"So that's why Leo is checking everything," she said now getting it, "I don't remember getting shot, but I have to thank him sometime. Where is he?"

"Currently with Andrew as he was shot too...but he doesn't have anything either, but an inhuman roar was heard near the lab. When Leo got there, he was on the floor with Nova watching over him."

"Was the roar from the clone?"

"No. Get this, the roar was from Andrew. Nova was given a vial with a virus in it, but didn't know anything about it. Andrew told him to inject the stuff in him to save him and it was the G virus to boot."

Alice stood in shock to this and asked, "You mean the story back on the hidden labs in Raccoon City just repeated itself?"

"You'd think that, but Andrew is fine. He hasn't changed at all, except his eyesight has improved greatly."

"Strange," Alice said, as she put her gun back in it's case, "Think we should check on the two?"

"Might be best, we don't want more problems then we need right now," Jack said, Alice nodding as they both walk off.

"Don't worry everyone, I'm good as new and I can see how well everything going now!" Andrew said.

"That's great!" Peach said.

"I hope you're not scared of me," Bowser said, "That's all I need..."

"Not at all! As a matter of fact, I'm even happier to actually see people's smiling faces," the scientist said, as he got hugged by the Mario brothers clones making the koopa king clone relieved.

"We were so worried when we heard a roar coming from here," Link said.

"I'd tell you everything, but right now, it's not a good time. I'm still shook up from those men. Maxwell is getting more dangerous if he's targeting workers like me."

"I understand," G2 said, then turns to see Jack and Alice walk in and said, "Hey guys!"

"Hello to you too," Jack said.

"Andrew, we need a little chat," Alice said, "It's about the G virus. Where did you get it?"

"I had it for years," he said, though he lied, "It's a perfected version."

"How did you hide it so well? You could have put us all in danger. If you changed into that...thing for example."

"I know that. It's just..." he sighs, "Even if I did, the result would be the same except not only would I not be standing here...but neither would anyone one else, if it got into anyone else. Wouldn't you agree?"

There was silence for a moment before hearing from G2 to Alice, "How are you doing from the wound?"

"I didn't know I was shot when it happened," Alice said, rubbing the back of her head.

"Ganondorf did a great job with healing if you don't remember," Link said, "You must be grateful."

"I am," she said.

"Where is he anyway?" Jack asked.

"He went back to his tank," Bowser said, "He was complaining about his arms."

"Oh no...If that was another trigger..." Andrew starts, "I know he got shot as well protecting me."

"I'll go," Jack said and ran off.

"You...protected him after that, didn't you?" Alice asked the scientist, making him look away for a moment.

"I did. I owe him a lot and you have no idea how many times he did it for me," he said. G2 smiles to this and he continued, "I still wonder how he does it. His curiosity, and his ways of thinking. He's never down, though he does get scared at points from something he didn't mean to do, he is getting more and more...what's the word I'm looking for?"

"No need," Alice said, "He seems like an open book to me."

"I beg your pardon?" Andrew said, thinking it's an insult.

"Not in a bad way. It's more like he's making a story about everything around him that he is helping others and wants us to do the same."

"Clearly unlike the other Ganon huh? I found about something that might shed some light. From old books, the world he's from had a curse that made the evil one the way he is."

"Because we don't have the curse...I'll be..."

"Exactly. If he wanted the 'Triforce' from that game, there would be problems, but he has no interest in such things. Though he is curious about it."

"What about Link and Zelda? Do they have the other pieces?"

"I never asked," he said, then hears a cry of pain, "Oh no..."

Ganondorf removes both gauntlets from his arms from the pain and watched as both hands turn into claws. "Claws?" he thought as everyone runs in, then yelps as his teeth had changed too, now sharp, saying aloud, "What's happening to me now?!" It didn't take long for him to fall to his hands and knees, crying out more.

G2 runs in next, saw what was happening, and somehow knew what's going to happen next before shouting, "Open up the tank!"

"Are you nuts?" Leo said, "Why? It's safe for him in there."

"But we aren't! I changed like this years ago, and that tank isn't going to be big enough! Open it! Quickly!"

As she said it, the clone's overall size started to get bigger and his legs became more bestrel.

Workers input the code in a frantic pace as this was happening.

"Something like this happened to you?" Alice asked, as Link and Zelda watched nearby.

"Yes, I'll explain later!" she said as the tank fully opens up, and just in time as Ganondorf got too big to fit in it and in a flash he had changed from human into a large armored lizard. He falls to the ground, breathing heavily, and G2 said, "I knew it. He has a dragon form too."

"A dragon?! Jack said, "I thought Maxwell was the only one."

"About that...my father found an old broken bone, many years ago. We didn't realize that it was dragon, let alone was Maxwell's. The thing attached to me like glue for no reason and I, too, changed into a dragon." She looks at Nova again, then walks over, "His is much different compared though."

"Some of her DNA was in his blood too," Andrew said, "The bone I must have over looked."

Roaring of anger was heard from the now dragon clone, but G2 said, as she walks over to him, "I'll handle this one."

"I sure hope so," Bowser said, watching this a little more then concerned.

Ganondorf stops when she walks over and said, "It's ok, big guy. It happened to me too. I know how you can change back." The clone's eyes light up to this and she continued, "It simple, focus on something else. Think about wanting to be human and you will change back. Just be sure to close your eyes first."

He nods and closes his eyes, thinking about changing back, and sure enough he slowly does and asked, "Did I do it?"

"I'm not sure..." she said, teasing a little, "I'm playing with you. You're good."

He opens his eyes and said, from this before sighing heavily saying, "OK, what was that about?"

"I'm sorry about what happened to you actually," G2 said, feeling horrible and her head lowers, "I didn't think what is in me...leaked, into you."

"Was it painful for you too?"

"Very," she said, and feels his hand under her chin and it was lifted up to look at him.

He shows a kind smile and said, "It's ok, it's not your fault."

"Kind of is, when you forget that."

"You handled the problem however. You saved me again, and now I owe you."

"You have done that for everyone as it is. I've been hearing as well as seeing. You need a break," she said laughing.

"Well...I suppose I should," he said rolling his eyes, teasing now as well as laughing.

"OK, you too," Leo laughs too, shaking his head.

"Did anyone catch that roar?" a guard asked looking around.

"That I did..." Maxwell said, growling, "Now I know how he's was made. That Ganondorf clone has a bit of my DNA too as well as hers. That girl needs to pay."

"Are you saying he's a dragon too?"

"What do you think imbecile?!"

I put in one reason the clone version of Ganondorf isn't like the real deal.

Chapter 40

"Looks like Ganondorf has another ability, but it's not shown yet," Andrew said.

"What now?" Jack asked.

"Something do with his hands...but I don't understand it."

Ganondorf was on a table nearby and looks down at them, asking, "They do feel funny. Like it wants to...latch on to something or someone."

"Let's take a look," Andrew said and walks over, placing his hands on Nova's right hand and feels around the palm, "I don't feel anything extra in the line of an new bone..."

"Good."

"However, I do feel something...a bump of sorts but it's soft," he said, "Could you remove your gauntlet?"

He does so and an indentation was seen, looking like a small hole in the center of the palm.

"I didn't see this before," Jack said.

Andrew was about test it, when Ganondorf tries to grab Andrew, making the scientist back off, and see's the clone wasn't in control of this, as said clone grabs the arm and forces it down, saying, "I'm so sorry! I don't know what got into me!"

"Like hell you don't! What was that about?!" Jack shouts.

"Jack, remember he as more then one DNA in him," Andrew said calmly, walking back over, "One of them might be in control of a certain motor funcion. Now I know something more of his body and now for a test. Let the arm go."

"But I don't want to hurt you!" Ganondorf said, in fear.

"You remember the defense training you read? Do it, if it gets to that point."

He sighs, letting the hand go. This time his hand didn't lash out and was placed in the middle of Andrew's head.

"Interesting, the frontal cortex..." the scientist said, before feeling else touch and said, "Something hit me." Nova was about to pull back fast, but hears, "Don't worry about it. Feels more of a push. Try to let go now."

He does and saw blood on Andrew's head, leaving him worried and said, while looking at his hand, "Bump? More like a bite."

Jack looks him over in worry and said, "You lost it, Birkin.

"Someone has to test if it's safe or not...though...I'm tired all of a sudden."

"Oh no..." Ganondorf thought, as Andrew sat down on a nearby chair, "I'm not sure, but I might have done something to you."

"It better not be poison," Jack said, a little angry at the scientist.

In Andrew's mind, G said, "You're not poisoned. Rather your energy was sapped and it feels like knowledge was taken too."

"How come I still remember things?" Andrew thought

"Well...I shouldn't say taken...rather copied. Whatever bit you, was trying to get your memories and send the info to Nova. Ask him about it later."

"I will, once he's calmed down."

"Andrew?" Jack asked.

"Sorry, I was just thinking of what the bite could be about," he said, hiding the conversation he had with G, "Honestly, I don't think I get enough sleep."

Jack shakes his head and said, as Andrew got up to clean himself off, "You realize that now? You need more then a day off. You need a year."

He laughs and said, "And miss out with Nova's growth?"

"That's not healthy."

Ganondorf cleans his hand as well, as this was going on, and puts his gauntlet back on. He starts to get a headache, but it fades out as quickly as it came as he sat back down on the table.

"I think that was more of defensive action. It didn't help what I did to his hand," Andrew said.

Jack shakes his head to this before both men heard from Nova asking, "What class of Tyrant did you take out?"

"I'm sorry," Andrew said confused, "What are you talking about?"

"I think it was a class C, that's why it wasn't fast for you."

They look at him in stun and Jack asked, in shock, realizing that he was talking about the B.O.W's years ago, "Did you read more of his mind?! I thought the solider was bad enough!"

"Fascinating! Thus why he targeted the middle of the head," Andrew said.

"This is freaky," Krauser said.

"And useful. Anyone that wants to hide the truth from others will have to deal with that."

"I think I got something else too...I got to get back to my tank..." Ganon said, looking tired and walks back.

"Oh come on! We don't need anymore problems!" Jack said.

"Let him go," the scientist said, "At least he knows himself more now. I'll check on him later tonight."

Chapter 41

Ganondorf lays in his tank, feeling worse then before and it was shown on one eye. Orange veins were around it and he was in pain.

"When did this happen?" Leo asked.

"From his 'test' that was done," Jack said, "Something in Andrew triggered this."

"It must be brand new to him and his body is trying to adapt," he said, "I'm going to need time to help him."

"You've done enough," the solider said.

"No...let him..." Ganondorf's voice was heard, tired, "I trust him."

The group look at each other and stay back.

"I don't know what to do here," Andrew thought, "This is brand new to me."

"I do," G said in his mind, "But for this to work, I must ask for me to control your body for the time being."

"This won't hurt will it?"

"Not at all. No changes either."

"Then do it. My fellow workers are watching."

Andrew sees quickly G had taken over and that he walked over to the cupboards and grabbing a vial, placing different chemicals in it, before it was in a needle, tapping the needle so no air bubbles were in it, and hears in Andrew's head, "Get ready, I'm letting you control again."

The scientist slowly feels control again, before he inputs the code to the tank and enters it, asking, "Can you stand?" Nova shakes his head to this, the pain getting worse. Andrew kneels downs and asked, "Can't move can you? That's fine, I'll try your neck. You're going to feel a slight pinch."

"Not that I can feel that beyond everything else..." the clone said as Andrew did his work. Colour returns to Nova quickly as it goes in his system as well the pain vanished, surprising Ganon and made him sit up, looking around in confusion, "What? I feel fine now."

"Did you see that?" Alice asked.

"Have you handled something like this before?" Leo asked Andrew.

"I looked up the cures for viruses. This should make the symptoms vanish and make it more controllable," he said, lying a little, "Sorry, I kept some old files."

"You used it for good," the CEO said with a smile, "I can't get mad at that."

The clone rubs his neck before Andrew says, "How do you feel now?"

"I still feel the last time a needle went in," he said, about the attack that targeted his neck then too, before getting up, "Other then that, I'm fine."

Another worker, that works with Maxwell, was on the other side of the door and contacted him saying, "Andrew just helped the clone with some sickness that came up. He had a cure I never seen before."

"I'm tired of that man ruining everything I plan..." he said on the other end and shouts to someone off the phone, "That virus was too slow! Those snakes are bad enough, but to now this! You said it can't be cured!"

"I'm so sorry sir! I'll make a new one right away!"

That's when Ganondorf reacted and asked, "You feel that?"

"Feel what?" Jack asked.

"If I may, can I leave my tank?"

"You may," Leo said and a stood back as it was lifted.

Nova looks around before looking at the door the enemy worker was behind and sports a serious look on his face before walking over to it.

"Oh no, he noticed me...somehow," the man said.

"Then move stupid, don't just stand there," Maxwell said on the other side again.

The worker was about to do just that when his joints lock and said, "What the?"

"Not this time," Ganondorf said walking out, "Nice of you to stick around though."

"Why can't I move?"

"New ability that was just added," he said, then takes the phone from the man and talks into it saying, "Is this Maxwell? Nice to speak to you in a different, non violent, way."

"I'm impressed clone. I'm not sure if I should be mad or not."

"Of course," Nova said in a flat tone, "Why don't you leave me and my friend alone? You got some sort of problem?"

"That father of the girl owed me something that you now have. Now you're getting stronger, even though I did many things to rid of you, it just makes me wonder if you can keep it up."

"Start worrying...I'm not going down. You better be ready when the time comes."

"I'll make it more interesting for you in time. It's you who should start worrying. Nice to speak you before you die," Maxwell ends it, by hanging up.

"I am dead..." the worker said, "Just because I couldn't get away."

"I won't let that happen," Ganondorf said, placing the phone on a table, "My friends have ways to get you out without any problem."

"And he has ways to find me anyway!"

"I'll help with that," the Zelda clone said walking over.

"Be careful doing that," Nova said, to which she nods.

"Now we know why the attacks are becoming more aggressive," Andrew said walking in.

"I know Maxwell is going to try anything to stop us, but what will he do next?" Leo asked.

"I got this odd feeling I know what it is, but do me a favor," Ganondorf said, "Could you leave the back doors open?"

"Of course," Alice said, "If you feel it's needed to avoid danger."

"Let's...do that. I saw something in my mind a moment ago and I fear for your lives."

Chapter 42

"Is there still some men left in that blasted building?" Maxwell asked.

"I believe so," one guard said.

"It's done," a scientist said, handing over a vial, glowing purple, "I gave it many tests with the same result of burning everything and anything. The only thing to worry about is the blast distance."

"I'm not worried about it," Maxwell said, "As long as it gets the job done."

The scientist hands over the chemical to one of the men before he left, giving the dragon a smile while at it.

Ganondorf started to get on edge, making the other clones worry that he might lash out.

"Are you OK?" Peach asked.

"Not really," he said as he covers his head with his hands, "These voices are driving me nuts and I feel like everyone is going to get killed by my hand."

"I know you won't let that happen. Did you get any sleep?"

"I tried...but I keep getting nightmares. They are the same every time...that an explosion will take us all out."

"Is that why you want the doors to be unlocked?" Mario asked.

"Yes."

"We'll help you escape if this is the case," he said.

"Thank you," Nova said and watched as Leo walks in and said, "I overheard. Is there anything I can do?" He sees, however, the clone shake his head, saying, "I want you to be safe right now. Sorry, but I have to handle this one myself."

Maxwell's helper listens in and said, over a mic, "He's aware of the plan...somehow."

"Curse him. Cover all exits," the dragon said, "He must not escape. No one will."

"Understood."

A clone of Wario was talking to his clone friend Waluigi at the time, looking out the forth story floor.

"What do you think is happening out there?" Waluigi asked.

"Who knows. Leo keeps saying it can be great, as well as dangerous. I just want to go out there and see adventure. What things to learn," Wario said

"Like our counter parts?"

"Not like that, but I like the idea. The only difference is more for the museum."

"Good idea, but what about the fact that people might think of us as the bad guy?"

"That might be a problem, I agree, but what if we disguise ourselves?"

"With what?"

"I don't know-" Wario was about to continue when he spotted Maxwell's guards heading for the building, "Not good."

"I'll warn the others," Waluigi said, as he ran off.

"Good plan," he said keeping an eye on them and watched as they head for all the exits, before leaving himself to add to the event, "They know something big."

Waluigi heads to the main hall where everyone was at and said, "Guys, there's soliders heading our way!"

"And they are going to block all exits," Wario said running in himself.

"So it's true," Mario said.

"Wouldn't you believe it?" a scientist walked in, vail in hand, "We want this place to go down for years, and we are making sure of it."

"One of Maxwell's men must have snuck him in," Peach said, Ganondorf growling.

"I must ask you to cooperate with us and things will go smoothly," the man continued, "We blocked all exits so escape is no use."

"I have to hand it to you, you're very determined to take us out," Nova said.

"I wish to live the next day and the money is good."

"For what, 10 bucks in hour?" the clone taunts, rattling the scientist, "Not a good thing to live on."

"Did you read his mind?" G2 asked, and to that the clone makes a smirk.

"Why you-?! Get him and hold him down!" the scientist shouts, as soliders rush in. Other clones try to stop them only to have a gun pointed at them and it didn't take long for Nova to be held down. The scientist walks over with confidence saying, "Why did you bother to struggle? It will be over in a moment."

"I guess so," he said, "Why don't you take a chair?"

"I'm fine standing up, but thanks for the offer to give me a little comfort."

"No, seriously take a chair...to the knee!"

A nearby chair floats off the ground and is sent hard and fast flying at the scientist to the very spot, the legs, hitting and making him lose the vial for a moment. Ganondorf breaks out of the hold easily and throws the soliders at a nearby wall, before running over, grabbing the vial and said, "Don't wait for me everyone. I'm heading outside and injecting this thing."

"Don't! How do you know it won't kill you?" Leo asked in panic.

"Something tells me it won't, but I don't want this place, and everyone in it to get killed. If I don't come back, at least you're safe."

"No, don't!" G2 shouts, but the clone runs off.

"Ugh, this wasn't supposed to happen!" the man said

The guards were alerted as Maxwell told them, "That blasted clone is getting away! Stop him!"

They turn to do so, but was rammed out of the way and as Nova said, as he ran to an open field miles away "I'm in a rush, sorry!"

"No! Stop him at any costs!"

"Yes sir!" the guards said running after him.

Ganondorf was upset about running away, but at the same time he knew it would be best. He looked at the vial and thought, "Once I get to that field-." He cuts himself off when he spots more guards and shouts, "Out of my way!"

"Not this time clone!" they said, guns at the ready, but were shocked when Nova got faster suddenly, getting past them easily, "What the?!"

"Be happy, boys. I could have done a lot worse!"

"Get him!" Maxwell shouts.

"How? He ran past us in speeds that we couldn't see him!"

"Follow him then, idiots! He leaves tracks!"

"He better not go invisible on us," the other guard said.

"Let's just go," the first said.

Once in the field, Ganondorf stands in the middle of it and looks around thinking, "I hope the animals will run when I do this..." He takes his right gauntlet off, and pulls back his shirt sleeve, before getting the chemical in himself, then thought, "Now to fool them...but how? Wait a second!" He makes darkness appear in his hand and has it go in the needle then thought, pulling his sleeve back down and putting the gauntlet back on, "That should be enough to fool them."

"There he is!" the soliders run in, and more follow them, "We got you surrounded!"

The clone raises his hands in the air, saying, "Curse it. You caught me, but I'm still not going back."

"You will if you like it or not! Now hand over the vial!"

"Fine," he said and holds it out, where it was snatched out of his hands, "Now you're coming with us."

The clone get grabbed and was about to get taken back when a guard said, "Are you hot from running?"

"A little yes," the clone honestly said before heard one guard yelp, let go and said, "Did I just grab a hot pan or something?!"

Both men let go of him at this point and just in time as fire was seen on Ganondorf's body.

"What's going on, we have the vial right?" one of the men asked, backing up.

The clone snaps his fingers and the darkness disappears from it and said, "I figured this would happen. So I did it out here and away from everyone."

The fire around him started to get darker, now green, and to this the soliders and guards back off and said, "Run!!"

As they do so, Nova looked at himself and said, with worry "Now I don't know if this was a good idea." The fire turns again to blue and the ground starts to turn to lava as the fire turns purple and this in turn makes him say, "What did they put in that vial?!" The fire turns black now and he sighs, "Well...I guess this is it. I'm sorry..." He feels like he was about to explode in a moment and cries it out, before doing so the blast spreading fast throughout the field and was heading for the soliders.

"He said the blast would be big, but not this big!" one solider said, but it was the last thing he said and he with the rest of the soliders were wiped out from the blast, turning them to ash in an instant.

G2 looks out the window and sees the explosion in the distance and cries out, "Ganon!!"



"He's done it," Peach said, "He's..."

The young girl starts to cry, but Leo said, "I wouldn't make the call yet."

"You think he lived?" Link asked.

"From what I've seen, I have a gut feeling..."

Once the blast calmed, Maxwell sent more troops in to see if Ganondorf was still standing, but to see the clone chest first on the ground not moving, most of his armor destroyed.

"Is he dead?" the dragon asked as a guard walked over and checked his body, placing his hand on Nova's neck and also listened for breathing, before giving his leader the nod, "That's a shame. He would have been a perfect weapon."

"For what cost do you strive for this?"

"Have you forgotten? The world is weak, both mind and body so a new generation must take place. At least we don't have this, idiot to stop us now. Let us leave, as he is no longer here to annoy us."

He and his men left a moment later and once they was well of sight, one eye opens from Ganondorf and looks around before movement was seen as he picked himself up then sat down and said, "Too bad for you, this 'idiot' knows how to play dead." He gets to his feet and looked around then got upset, "Those men were just doing their job! I didn't want them to suffer that!"

"Do you wish to change their fates?" Aeon's voice was heard for the first time in the clone ears making him turn quickly. He spots him and got ready, but father time said, "I mean you no harm."

Sensing the truth, he lowers his arms and asked, "Who are you?"

"A friend," Aeon said, walking over, and looking up at him, "I've been watching you for quite some time. I must say, things are going very well for you."

"Why do you say that?! I killed all those men here!" he said in anger.

"I know you're upset. Life can be cruel, even I didn't want this to happen," he admits and turns to the burnt land, "However, I have a tool for you so you can undo what happened here."

"You do?"

Aeon brings out a trident with a crystal on it's base and said, giving it to Nova, "This is Shadow Strike. This weapon can do just that if not more."

Ganondorf takes it and looks it over, before asking, "How do I use this?"

"I think you can figure it out," Aeon said, "Right now, I must take my leave."

"Wait! At least tell me your name."

"All in good time," he said, before vanishing.

"This is getting weirder and weirder..." Ganondorf thought, then looks at the trident before looking out at the ruined area, "It can undo this?" The crystal reacts to this, surprising him then makes a smirk saying, pointing the weapon onto the ground, "Well, time to get to work then!"

He stabs it into the ground and the next thing everything reverted back to normal and the men that were killed, came back and one said, "What happened?"

"Aren't we...dead?"

"Not anymore," Ganondorf said, pulling out the trident and holding over his shoulder, making the soliders look at him.

"Get away from us!" another said, but the general of group said, "Don't move."

The solider stops then said general turns to Nova and asked, "Why did you bring us back?"

"I didn't sense anything bad from you. You were just doing your job," Ganondorf said, before feeling bad again, "I didn't want this to happen to you. Any of you..."

"Maxwell lied to us...we should take him out!" another solider shouts

"You will not do that!" the general said to the man sternly, then turns to Nova and said, "I must thank you, but we have nowhere to go."

"I think I got something," the clone said.

G2 was looking out the window, still upset and Alice was trying to keep her calm at the time.

"I'm sure he's fine," she said.

"That explosion was something," Jack said nearby, "I hope he did survive."

"Ganondorf is tough, but something like that might end him for sure," Leo regrets saying.

Andrew was looking out as well before spotting soliders coming out of the woods, and said, "We have company it seems."

"They want another shot do they?" the CEO asked, only to see them form two lines as if waiting for someone in power to walk through, and stood to attention, guns held over the shoulder, "Wait, what's going on?"

"Wait is that?" Alice starts but G2 ends it once she spotted him, "Big guy!"

He walked down the 'path' that was formed, a little worse for wear, but shows that he's fine, trident in hand before stopping and waving at everyone.

"He survived?! Incredible!" Jack said as G2 ran out of the building and jumped into his arms.

The other clones head out as well, before Jack, Alice and Leo followed out hearing from G2, whom is still crying, "I was so worried about you! I thought you were dead!"

"I'm a lot tougher then I look...as I found out. I had to fake my death to fool Maxwell," he said, "What with no heart beat and I don't breathe anyway."

"You clearly need new armor from this," Alice said, making him laugh.

"Worry about the task at hand," he said as the soliders turn to the group, "At least we have new allies now."

"I'm not sure what happened back there...but keep it up," Leo said, making Nova smile.

Chapter 43

Ganondorf was laughing a little as Andrew checks his ears.

"You're awfully ticklish," the scientist said.

"I can't help it," he said between laughs.

Andrew finishes up and said, "No problems with the ears either. I figured you would have burned something."

"Too bad we don't have the needle it was in," Leo said.

"The needle itself isn't the problem, but the scientist that did this," Jack said.

"Is he still here?"

"Yes, and we are making sure he doesn't get away."

"I'm going to see him," Ganondorf said, "Just to see the look on his face."

"Is that a good idea?"

"Right now, I don't care," he said seriously, "I need him to wake up and see a nightmare before him."

"Nova-" Leo was about to protest, but the clone walks off before he got a say in, then turns to his solider friend, "Keep an eye on him, Jack."

He nods to this and follows close by.

The scientist was laughing to himself, thinking the clone was dead as other clones watch him and said, "How power do you have now? Maxwell has go his wish either way."

"How about shutting that mouth of yours for once," Bowser said nearby, getting annoyed.

"No way. I'm finally free from Maxwell. He said he would let me free once it either kills your clone 'friend' or makes him a killing machine. Either way, I won!"

"Hate to tell you this, but he's not dead," Link said, also keeping an eye on the scientist

"Keep lying to yourself," the man said, smirking.

"Except it's no lie," Nova's voice was heard, making the scientist eyes go wide in fear and slowly look at where the voice was coming from, watching as the very clone, now with new armor, walked into the room.



"Impossible! Impossible!!" the scientist shouts, "It has chemicals to burn through everything! I tested it! What is the meaning of this...farce?!"

"The only farce is you sir," Ganondorf said walking over to him, grabs his lab coat and lifts him off his feet and said, looking at him in the eye, "Now then, lets start over. What does Maxwell want?"

"You think I'll tell you? In your dreams."

"I got plenty of time."

"Please you don't scare m-" the man was about to taunt again, but suddenly his attitude changed, "Wait...don't hurt me!"

Jack was confused as was Ganondorf, but the clone used this sudden change to an advantage and said, "Tell me! Now!"

In the man's eyes, Ganondorf looked like a monster snake with huge fangs and the scientist cries, "Maxwell wants everything under his command! You were his focus for death as he wanted the vial that made you! Because you lived so many times, and cases you got angry, he had more interest in you as time went by, to either wipe you out, or use you as the ultimate weapon!"

"Where is he located?"

"His base is 10 miles north from here. Heavy guarded as well."

"You get all that?" Nova asked Jack.

"Greatly noted," he said.

"This is all I know! Please! Don't bite me! Don't kill me!!" the scientist panics.

"Calm down, you're free to go," Ganondorf said, and placed him on the ground.

Once he was placed on the ground, he snapped out of the fear and said, "No...What have I done? I'm a dead man!"

"We'll protect him from here on out," a guard nearby said, "Least I can do at this time."

"Thank you," Ganondorf said.

"I wonder what happened to make him freak out?" Jack asked.

"I'm not sure myself," he said honestly, then starts to walk out, "I'm going to go to the gym for a bit to train. Tell Leo and the others everything you heard."

"Of course," he said then thought, walking off himself, "Nova's changed quite a bit. I'm not sure how to go about this, but I must say I'm impressed."

Ganondorf walks into the gym and walks over to the weights thinking, "Maxwell is going out of control. Thankfully he doesn't know I survived the blast yet." He sits under the barbells and started to train on strength a bit but realized, "What's the point of doing this?"

"Hey," Bowser's voice was heard nearby as he walked in.

"Hey yourself," Nova said with a smile, picking himself up a little to look at him, "Need some help?"

"Actually, I'm here to help you," he said, "Or actually we."

"We?"

Other clones walk in, weapons in hand and Bowser said, "On defense as well."

"You guys show up when I need help," Ganondorf said with a smirk, arms hanging over the bars, "You guys mind readers too or something? That's twice now."

"Actually, we need help on awaking something in us," Link said."

"What do you mean?"

"We have bit a bit on edge these last few weeks, but not on the events that's been happening. It's like we need an outlet."

"So you need help, but at the same time help me out?" the gerudo clone asked, putting the weights back and getting off the bench, before cleaning himself off a little, "That's a great idea in my book. Who wants to go first?"

"I'll go," Bowser said cracking his knuckles and heads for the middle of the room.

Ganondorf does the same thing before getting into a stance saying, "We all need a little help these days. Which I'm happy to aid what I can."

The koopa clone laughs to this, getting ready himself, "We got to start somewhere, right?"

Nova makes a smile before charging.

Meanwhile

"It's been quiet..." Leo said to Jack, as he looks out the window, "He's planning an attack, I know it."

"I feel the same," the solider said, "How long will it take for him to notice we aren't doing anything despite the 'death' of Nova?"

"If I know him, it won't take long. Either that or only his men to report to him."

"There better not be any more of his men around or we're in trouble. We are not ready yet...not to mention...where did that weapon come from? First a two handed sword, if you want to call it that, and now a trident!"

"Something has been telling me that they show when Nova is alone, as if someone is keeping an eye on him. Thing is, why?"

The sound of an explosion was heard as well as felt, getting both men's attention, Jack shouting in surprise, "What was that?!"

"It's awfully close. It better not be another attack from that dragon," the CEO said, running out to see, Jack following.

"Dang, Bowser! I know I said, don't hold back, but don't destroy the building while at it," Ganondorf said, cleaning himself off even though most of the gym looked worse for wear.

"I don't know my own strength I guess," he said, one claw behind his head, a little embarrassed.

"Where'd that purple fire come from anyway?"

"I have no idea, it just appeared. I'm getting tired anyway, so I'm done."

"What was quick, it was only a few minutes...unless...yeah, you have a point. Rest up."

Leo and Jack run in and saw the damage making the CEO ask, "What happened?!"

"That was me," Bowser said, "My fire breath got out of control."

"I told you not to use it around here," Jack said.

"We can't really go outside. What if Maxwell's men are out there?" Link points out.

"This is a problem..." Leo admits, and gets out his phone, "I got an idea, but it might take time for it to be built."

"Built...?"

"You'll see. Excuse me," he said and walks off, making the other clones look at each other.

Chapter 44

A soldier looks out at the Umbrella building with binoculars, saying to Maxwell, "It's been very quiet, sir. Should we attack?"

"All in good time, major," he said, relaxed, "That clone's death must sink in."

"So you're letting them recover from the loss?"

"No, I need to give them a chance to think twice and give up everything, including all the other clones they have. Test subjects are needed."

"Oh, of course, sir," the soldier said, looking at the dragon, "I could use something to test my weapons on too."

"Only on failures. Remember that."

"Of course," he said before looking back then was surprised, "What's this?"

"What is it?"

"Come take a look. Leo looks like he's called builders...for something."

Maxwell walks over and glanced into the binoculars, watching as a truck pulled up into their driveway, saying, "How curious...What are they up to?"

"I didn't think you want something here for combat training these days," one worker said, "And one this big."

"We need to be ready for anything," Leo said, "I've noticed some old workers have been targeting this area as of late. There was one not long ago. Thankfully no one was hurt."

"I can see that," the man said seeing bullet holes on parts of the building, "We'll start tomorrow if you like."

"That's fair. Take as much time as you need to get ready."

"Of course."

The worker leaves and heads out to which, Jack asked, "You do know Maxwell could have been watching this."

"I do. As long as he didn't see Nova it's all good."

"We'll have to hide the other clones for the time being as they work."

"I'm not worried about that. As long as Nova, Bowser, and some of our other monster-like clones keep their heads low and out of the light, the workers won't notice. I have a special room in case things get dicey."

"That's good that way," Jack said, as they are out of sight, "We don't need any more problems."

"I didn't think they would need training honestly," Leo admits as the clones, G2 and Alice came out.

"Is there anything we can do to help?" Mario asked.

"Right now, no," he said then thought again, "Actually yes. Maybe you all can help with the gym repairs."

"We need to get studying then," Luigi said, "We don't have any idea on what to do."

"I'll help you out with that if not everyone."

"Like a school? I do need to catch on my grades," G2 said, laughs

"Ganondorf would teach too eventually," Alice said, then laughs as well, "That's just funny to picture."

"Let us get inside, at least so Maxwell doesn't catch on," Leo said and walks back in with the group.

"What's your take sir?" Maxwell's solider asked.

"They are up to something for sure. Maybe a future grave for them once I'm done," he said, "Let's plan the next attack in the future. For now, train up. We need the strength."

"Yes sir," the solider said putting the binoculars away and following behind.

"That's not bad of an idea," Ganondorf said before asking, "Do we have enough rooms?"

"I'm pretty sure we do, it's just the man power on each class," Alice said.

"I'll think of something," Jack said, "At least not to get everyone outside's attention."

"Don't worry about that," Leo said, "We have all the time in the world right now."

"What about Maxwell?"

"I'm pretty sure he's left us alone for now, if not training himself."

"Great...so we still got him looming over us..."

"At least until we get the facility built. Right now, have some added work on our hands. We'll have to take turns keeping an eye on the construction workers."

"I'll take the first shift then," Jack said, "As well let you know if Maxwell's men do anything to stop this too."

The next day the very solider was outside waiting for the workers and two trucks drive in. Once parked, the boss came out of one of them and said, "Nice day to start. Where did you wish for the combat training gym to be again? I just want it to be clear."

"Right this way," Krauser said, "Leo won't be with us much. He's in a meeting right now."

"Busy again? I wonder if he takes a day off himself."

"Loves his job too much, hate to tell you. He's worse then what I had to work with years ago," the solider said laughing, and in turn the boss of the project laughs, wondering about the chaos he has to deal with years ago, as they walk off.

In the Umbrella Corp building, many clones were in different rooms, as workers help out with subjects.

"You don't think they will learn as fast as Ganon, do you?" Alice asked Leo nearby.

"Even if they don't, at least it's something to do when they are out in the field and free to do what they want."

"So you plan to let them go? Are you sure that's wise?"

"In the near future, yes. Right now, it's best not to take chances with what little they know at this time."

"I see. What about Nova?"

"What about him?"

"I fear he'll change again in the middle of things again."

"Don't worry, one of the guards will keep an eye on him so they can act if needed."

"Where did they come from anyway? Didn't they work for Maxwell?"

"Something changed their tone...I'll have to ask Nova sometime on this as well how they gained the trust of them so quickly."

Hours pass and everyone went on break for the day, Ganondorf was reading something nearby when Zelda walked over and asked, "What do you think?"

"Think of what?" he asked as she stood nearby.

"The whole thing with...school?"

"Aren't you the holder of the Triforce of Wisdom?" he teases, but is also hinting a point.

"Ganon! Please! I'm serious," she said, little annoyed.

"I am too. You'd think we would have everything over time on our own, you know?"

Calming down, Zelda thinks before saying, "Maybe. We aren't you though. You learn very quickly, if not more then the others."

He places a bookmark on a page, putting the book to the side, and said, "I just get curious of things, but I don't mean to learn as fast as I do." He looks as his hands and added, "If not have things that add more...problems."

"You can't slow it down?" He shakes his head, then she had an idea sat in a chair beside him, and said, "Maybe you can teach us a little maybe help the others."

This made him nervous quickly, and asked, "On what? I don't know what to start with."

"Doesn't matter on what. It's just an idea anyway. Right now, I do need a little help with a subject, if you don't mind."

"Sure thing," he said as a book was set in front of him on a subject when Link walks in and said, to Zelda, "Ahead of me again?"

She laughs and said, "You need to catch up."

"Not my fault I got pulled away by Ridely. He wanted to ask me something," he said, as she continued to giggle.

"All right you two," Ganondorf laughs, "Something you need?"

"Basically the same thing. I'm stumped on a question."

"I think I can help you both," he said, "What part?"

Alice saw this nearby and thought, "Again...not like the game at all."

(before you ask why Ridely not Ridley is because he is not like the alien killer and rather not be compared to him)

Chapter 45

"Good luck on the test, Sophia," Leo said to his worker, "Going for police work isn't easy."

"I know. Thank you for everything you have taught me at off hours. I figured you didn't have the time," she said.

"Nonsense. We need more officers out in the field these days, and I'm happy to take the time to help. Just remember what I taught you and you'll be fine."

"Yes sir," she said as she got up and leaves the room.

Other clones where nearby, saying good luck, along her way and Ganondorf was not far either, leaning against the wall and arms crossed, lazily, asking, "Nervous?"

"A little. I know I'll do well, but I'm not sure on the written tests."

"Need a hand with that later?"

"N-No...I'm fine," she said, nervously, "Once I'm there, I'll be more focused."

She walks off a few steps, but not before dropping everything, running at the clone and jumps at Nova, giving him a hug, catching him off guard, as he had to catch her, making him say, "Whoa! That scared?"

"I'm going to miss all of you! If I get the job, I won't be coming back!"

He kneels down now and hugs back while placing her feet on solid ground and said, with a kind look in his eyes, "I have a feeling we will see each other again in the future."

"I hope so..."

"Stay calm. At least come back long enough to let us know how you did, ok?"

"I'll try," she said and was about to pick up everything off the floor when they floated to her. Ganondorf was using his mind to help her get her things, having her say, "Thank you."

"Just try your best."

She nods as she walks off, and to this Ganon had a small tear appear under his eye, to which he wiped away. The others felt the same way.

"What do you think?" Luigi asked.

"She'll get it. It's a gut feeling, but it's a good one."

"Only time will tell," Zelda said.

"I felt the same when I got this job," Alice said, walking over, "It had hurt me too. Thankfully, it turned out to be great in the long run."

"May I ask why?"

"I'm looking at it," she said teasing, then turns to Nova, "I didn't think this project would turn out to be this great. You included."

"Stop it," he said, being modest, while the other clones laugh until there was a knock at the door nearby and a solider walked in, saying to Alice, "Your turn for watch duty."

"That time already? I'll be there in a minute," she said as the man left, "Come on. I think you're doing great."

"And I suffered for it? Maxwell will wise up to this too that I'm still alive."

"Good points...Sorry for bringing it up."

"It's ok, it's just something that bothered me, that's all."

"I have a tip on that. A great man said this too: 'You're gonna have to go through hell, worse than any nightmare you've ever dreamed. But when it's over, I know you'll be the one standing.' I want you to remember that."

This made him remember how many things he had to endure but was, indeed, the last one standing, giving him a smile.

"Everyone goes through this. Some different from others, but it's how you handle it. Will you take the blows and handle it, or back off?"

"To me, it sounds like a question on how to handle a situation."

"Does doesn't it? If you get stuck in something like that, also make note," she said walking over, then points at his muscular right arm, "It's not here that matters." She then point to her head, "It's here. The mind is the biggest thing there is. You make the choices with it. You said it yourself that you're not changing your tone when it comes to right and wrong, and that's great, but what makes it even harder is keeping your word." She puts her arm down and ends it saying, "This is why I say you're doing great. You handle everything thrown at you and stay standing. That is the tough thing a person deals with."

He nods to this and said, "Thank you. You answered everything I wanted to know."

"You're welcome," she said with a smile, before walking off, "I better get going. I'll see you later."

The very words hit everyone listening in and Link said, "That is true with everyone here and we aren't human."

"It's how we handle it..." Mario said.

"What's your take on it?" Zelda asked Nova.

He was silent for a moment then said, "All I can say is this: Make sure you are like a mountain handling a friged wind. Stay strong even if the trees wither."

"Uh...where did you pick up that?"

"I'm...not sure. One of the DNA's in me said it in my head. It just came out of me," he said, embarrassed, placing one hand behind his head.

"Basically the same thing," Bowser said, "Hey, once that training area opens up I want to see who's last standing."

"If I know you, you will," Mario said.

"Come on now. I'm sure Link would do better then me."

"Excuse me?" the hylian clone said.

Ganondorf laughs to this and said, "Calm down everyone. You'll get your chance. Since Alice brought up the mind, how about we all handle that first? I think we are late anyway."

"Fair enough. Let's go," Mario said.
