((Thanks! ) "Thank you," Ephraim said to Link about waiting.

"Anything I should know, since I'm here?" Link asked.
"Actually, did you see anything strange on your way here?" Ganondorf asked.
He thought about it, but said, "Not really, no. Why?"

"Because a giant zombie scorpion attacked me a while back, not to mention someone fleeing as he cut my arm," Kouga said, "he was also injured, because there was blood on the ground right after he passed by."
"Scorpion??" Ephraim said, then he quickly grabbed his book and flipped through the pages, "No, please don't tell me it's who I...d@mn, it is!"
"What is it?" Eliwood asked.
"Kouga, did the monster look like this?"
The prince showed a sketch of a giant scorpion, with eyes inside it's claws and one eye in the middle of it's body.
"That's the one, I'm afraid."
Snapping the book shut, he asked, "Is the husk still there?"
"I think so."
"Please take me to it. Maybe I can figure out how it was brought back."
"Huh?" Marth said, "Your kidding, right? I never expected this kind of thing from you."

"Lets go then," I said, to which Link and Ganondorf nod.

Kouga was the first to walk out the door and everyone else followed. They managed to get deep into the forest clearing, and large shell of a scorpion was seen.
"Well, here it is," he said, holding his hand out.
Ephraim walked over and studied the carcass of the giant monster, "So I was right."
"What do you know about it?" Marth asked.
"Moldarach, is the monster's name, and was suppose to have been destroyed by Link once before, the real hero, I mean," he quickly corrected to avoid confusion between the clone and Link himself.
"Well that thing was already dead when I fought it," Kouga said.
"What do you mean?"

"Just what he means," Ganondorf said, "It was nothing more then an empty shell."
He then starts to think, walks over to the shell, then places his hand on it, to see what happened in the past.

Images began to flow through Ganondorf's mind, of Link battling Moldarach using a gust blower-like object, and eventually, it was killed from the multiple sword attacks to it's eyes. Moldarach's body had stayed within the temple since. Another being was seen in the temple, but quickly vanished the moment the monster began moving. It was moving with no will of it's own, and was proven by the unstableness of it's movements, crashing into the walls that eventually broke, and causing it's escape to the outside world.

"I didn't see who did it, but...it had no will of it's own because of the reanimation, it's was unstable," he said.

"That explains things then," Eliwood said.
The sound of scraping metal was heard.
"Hey, did you hear that?" Kouga asked.
"Ephraim, get away from that thing!"
He did just that, and everyone saw someone standing on top of the carcass, arms folded and looking down at us. Kouga just got his answer to what he heard: magic, but the being was hidden in shadow, so identification was hard.
"I thought I got rid of you upon passing by for destroying my monster," he spoke, obviously directing to Kouga, "who would've thought my magic reanimated it's body, but failed to give it a proper sense of what it was doing. A mindless zombie: that's what it turned out to be."
"I thought so," Ephraim said.
"You!" Kouga shouted up.
The only response was a soft chuckle.

"I said, who the hell are you? You better talk unless-""Unless...what?"Before Kouga could react, his arm was cut again. Grasping his bleeding arm, he turned around to see the man twirling his black rapier, and his own chest bleeding just a little, but it wasn't enough to cause any kind of interference.

Ganondorf snaps his fingers and healed the demon wolf once more.
"I hope I got this right...Ghirahim correct?" the clone guessed.

He snapped his head toward Ganondorf and slowly walked over to him, stopping just a couple feet away.
"Seems you really do no longer have any use for me, since you had forgotten my name...master," he said in a rather mocking tone, answering Ganondorf's question.
"Master? ...Ghirahim?!" Eliwood looked back and forth between the two, "You two...know each other?"
"Then again, a demon who couldn't even extinguish a simple sky child is no longer fit to be my master."
"Ganondorf, WHAT is he talking about?" Ephraim asked.

"Just taking a guess," Ganondorf said, "Your real master is not far away. I'm not what you think I am, but I can see why you think I'm him. I was talking to your master not long ago, mostly because a fool summoned him. He did mention you."

With his relaxed posture, it was clear that Ghirahim wasn't looking to fight...at least not yet.
"Really now? Then I demand that you tell me what he said, word by word!"
"Gimme gimme never gets," Kouga teased.
A sharp turn to the wolf demon, "I will chain you up and tan your hide if you say another word, so keep quiet, wolf."

Link just rolls his eyes at Ghirahim.
"He said, if I remember right, that 'Something is missing. My blade is no longer what it was. He's missing.' I asked him what, then he said, 'Ghirahim. The spirit of my blade.' Now I understand what he means on what he said now that I look at you."
Ganondorf then turned his back, and taunts, acting embarrassed, "But I never imaged you would look like this. You need better cloths then that, to scare me. You look like you came out of a freak show."
"Ganon!" I shout at him while Link snickers.

((Sorry, went out to pick up dinner))
"Good, I wasn't the only one thinking it," Kouga said.
"Oh boy..." Eliwood said about both Ganondorf and Kouga.
Lucky for them, the spirit didn't say anything about it.
"So your just a living weapon, is that it? Then there's no way any of us should be intimidated." Kouga charged in, throwing a punch at Ghirahim, who held his hand out to catch the attack, and then threw him back.
"Living weapon?"
"How did you get that wound in your chest?" Ephraim asked after seeing the cracked diamond, which was still healing.
"...It's true that I was once bound to the sword of my...ex-master," he explained, "I did all I could to revive him, and what do I get in return? The sword released from my body and I was returned to it. Not a word was spoken from Demise. Do you all realize what it was like?"
"No, and I don't care." the wolf demon said.
"Kouga!!" Eliwood shouted at him.
"So the wound was from a sword forced out of your chest."
"The pain was indescribable, but I couldn't afford to show weakness to him."
"But I still don't understand; if your really a sword, then how can you bleed?"
"You ask too many questions to get answers for all. Shut your mouth for once and allow me to explain."

"Watch it..." Link said, about to get his sword.
"Link, not now," Ganondorf said, and to this the warrior calms down.

"I was liberated from the dreaded blade, and with my freedom, I was given flesh and blood," he explained, "I am thankful for my new life as a true living being, but I found out that, before you met him, Demise was beaten by...that kid!" he starts to walk around in place, "Therefore, I have decide that from this day forward, I am my own master!"
He stops walking and shouts at everyone, throwing his arm out, "NO ONE SHALL USE AND COMMAND ME, AND MAKE ME REPEAT THE SAME FATE!"
"Oh shut up!" Kouga said, "Look, I don't care what you are. I still see you as a threat!"
"No, actually, I'd be mad as hell too, if someone treated me like that." Eliwood said.
"A sword serves no purpose other than to serve it's master, but for me, that no longer applies. As I said before, I'm reborn. Still...even loyalty has it's boundaries."

"They look the same, but they're not," Eliwood said to the demon lord, "he's a clone, too."
"I guessed that from his odd way of questioning things. Yes, there was a kid who looked just like you. He interfered with my plans to revive Demise, but he was too late at the last minute," he lets out a wicked smile, "capturing the reborn goddess, and the feeling of victory within my grasp: it felt wonderful...for a while, anyway."

"That was Hylia's new name? Surely, even she could have done better."
Kouga was getting nervous.
"Control your pet!" he stopped for a second, then spoke, "Come to think of it, his blood reeks of wolf, yet his appearance baffles me. Wait...that's not your true form, is it?"
"You've been calling me a wolf all this time and your just now figuring it out, you circus freak?" he said.
"Kouga!"
"Lucky for you, I'm in more of a talkative mood than I am a fighting mood. Even I'm surprised by the fact."
"Clearly," he was making fun of how the spirit talked too much.

"I had you figured out when you spoke of my ex-master," Ghirahim said, "you aren't him, your just a cheap knockoff of the real thing."
"Uh-oh," Eliwood said, hoping Ganondorf wouldn't get mad.
The demon lord vanished from his spot, making Kouga and Marth, which the ex-prince had been quiet all this time, look around for him. He appears right behind Ganondorf, his hands on his shoulders, trying to spook him while checking him out, and says, "I am not speaking highly of him, mind you. I'm just confused of why you resemble him."
He jumps out from behind him, and turns back around to face him, "Well? Why is that?"

His black sword appearing in his hand, he points it at Ganondorf and says, "I demand an answer from you!"
"He's a clone!" Kouga said, "There! Are you happy??"
That caused him to lower his weapon slightly, "No. There has got to be more than that! So what is it?"

Ganondorf laughs a little, sounding like Demise in Ghirahim's ears, and said, "Does the word 'decendent' mean anything to you?"

That caused Ghirahim to clinch his teeth angrily, his blade disappearing before lowering his head and his body shaking with pure anger. He threw his arms straight down and yelled, "Descendent?!!!!"
Almost immediately, Eliwood, Marth, Ephraim, and Kouga, backed off from his angry shout. Four black blades glowing with a red aura appeared in front of him, "I thought there was something odd about you, but I just couldn't place my finger on it! You may be his kin, but as the saying goes; the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!"
Despite what he said about not wanting to fight, hearing that Ganondorf, clone or not, was the descendent of the very man who betrayed him, suddenly made Ghirahim furious. He threw his arm out, sending the blades directly toward Ganondorf.
"Geeze, would it have made you feel better if Ganondorf WAS Demise?!" Eliwood asked, being sarcastic and making fun of his sudden burst of anger at the same time.
