[The Melee Master]

Once he reaches the shower room, he walks into it and shuts the door.

"Oh, I believe you will be impressed with the collection I dug up," he said, his white lips curved into a toothy smile, showing his fangs, "I had those mongrels hold on to them until the fortress was built. You'll find them within the dungeon, which is also, a room for one of my favorite methods of slow killing: a torture chamber, for your beating pleasures."

Onox lets out a hearty laugh, "I'm going to enjoy this just as much as you guys are."

Luigi runs back then sets the clothes on a table near the door.

"Chain him up good, I don't need him to escape again," he then said. Veran and Yuga were more interested in what he is, so they follow.

The bokoblin leads them to a fortress, one that was much larger than their previous building, and was heavily guarded. A tall, iron wall with spikes on the top was outlined as a way to prevent unwanted guests from entering. Onox and Ghirahim watch as the wall began to split in the middle and separate. The bokoblin enters through the gap, and closes back up with no trace, not even a visible seam was found. Onox decided to test it out, dropping the clone to the ground, and taking out his heavy weapon.

"Let's see how strong this thing really is," he said, swinging it around over his head. He unleashes it and it collided with the wall, only for it to bounce back with double the force, and manages to fly out of his hand, landing a few feet behind the group. There wasn't even a single scratch or dent on the wall where the weapon had struck,"it's strong all right, but how do we open it ourselves?"

"Is this made from magic or something?" Ayden asked.

"Indeed it is, and it seems to prevent anyone from entering...and escaping," said the demon lord.

"Let's just hurry and get him below ground," Onox quickly said. It wasn't soon after he said it that the wall split open, allowing entrance for the three.

"Now...the torture begins," Ayden said with a smirk and walks in.

The doors close tight as soon as the three walk inside. Onox lets out a chuckle and says to Ayden as he walks into the dungeon, "I'd love to see what kind of torture methods you can come up with for him. Maybe they'll inspire us for future torture on the rest of those pathetic weaklings."

Hanging from a stone wall were several chain links that looked impossible to break free once someone has been bonded from them. On another wall slab were various instruments used for different torture methods. In the middle of the room was a 'bed' to hold the prisoner down on. Luckily, the moblins and bokoblins who built the chamber didn't limit it to just those methods of torture. The rest was up to the imagination of whoever was doing the hurting.

Onox lets out a whistle and said, "Where was all this when I was around for Din's capture?"

"I had them scrounge around for any weapons that they ran into, and if all this doesn't satisfy your appetite for torture, then feel free to improvise anyway you please," said the pale demon.

"Chain him up!" Ayden said eyeing a weapon, a spiked whip, "This will do nicely." He grabs it and waits.

Onox complied and chained the clone's wrists into brackets that hung from the ceiling, to insure pain would be inflicted everywhere on his body. Making sure he chained Ganondorf good and tightly, the general backs off.

"He's all yours, Ayden," he said with a smirk.

Ghirahim rested his back against the cold stone wall and folded his arms, deciding to stick around and watch this play out, and hopefully, be amused.

He raises the weapon and tries it on the clone, only for the tip to suddenly freeze in the middle of the attack, shocking the ex-cop. He hears a slow laugh from the clone. Ganondorf rose his head and quickly opened his eyes, and when that happened, Ayden was thrown out of the room and slammed against the wall, by an unseen force and Ganon said, "Try again...."

"You little..." Ayden strained, then watches as the torture weapons have a mind of their own and float out of it's cases. They all are sent at Ayden, but they hit and get stuck in spots around him, being dangerously close to hitting him.

"As I said before...he is a weapon..." Akuma spoke out.

"How you like that? Oh yeah...exit stage left!"

"What?" was all Ayden could say, when he was send flying again down the left hallway. The weapons get freed out of the wall, but then is placed back the same way they were before. This, in turn, made Veran and Yuga wonder about him more, though slightly intimidated.

"That was weak..." Nova said, "Then again, he didn't know I use almost 100% of my brain, it seems."

"What?" Veran asked Yuga, but he shrugs to this.

"Well that was fun while it lasted. I don't feel like doing much, so I'm willing to talk," the clone said, not even worried about his position.

"Oh really? What about the-" Maxwell was about to ask, but Nova cuts him off and said, "Except that." as if he knew he was about to ask about the medallion.

After seeing that the weapon didn't work, Ghirahim got off from the wall, surprised. He and Onox were even more surprised when they saw their 3rd in command being thrown away without being touched.

"You...!!" growled Onox, but was silenced when he saw Ayden being thrown down a hallway and the weapons returned to their original spots.

It seems that Ayden didn't get to have his fun after all.

"You...vile excuse for a weapon...!" spat the demonic spirit at Ganondorf. With Ayden out of the picture for now, Ghirahim had the chance to kill the clone himself, but at the same time, it wouldn't feel right without the human getting in on it, so he held back his rage with all he had left in him. Snapping his fingers, two bokoblins appeared.

"Go and seek Ayden out," commanded Onox to the two, "make sure he's unscathed."

They complied and rushed out where the human had been thrown. Ghirahim looked at Nova and asked, "About...what?" By the tone of his voice, he was more annoyed than angry at the moment, but with him, that could change at the very tip of a hat.

"I have a question actually," Veran said.

"Go ahead," Ganondorf said, having more manners with her.

"I know you said that you don't know what you really are, but...do you have an idea of it at least?"

"If you don't mind a list of names, maybe."

"Pardon?"

"You don't mind long stories do you? This might take a while."

"I'm curious," Yuga said.

Once again, getting to know your enemies, regardless of the intentions with them, might actually be a good thing in the long run. Besides that, Ghirahim's mood for murder was fading, even after going through all that trouble capturing Nova. He had the clone captured for Ayden, anyway, and seeing that he was away, the demon no longer cared if Nova was spared or not. In response to that, Ghirahim crossed his arms and waited for the explanation, as did Onox.

"For starters, sorry Yuga, I need to borrow the staff of yours for a moment," he said. The very weapon was taken out of his hands, surprising him and thinking it was a trick to escape, but he quickly realised he was using it to paint something on the ground and once finished, it was brought back to him. Akuma's team looked on the ground to see a symbol.



"Is this a joke?" Yuga asked, scoffing at it, "It looks like an umbrella!"

"Don't laugh. They almost caused the world to be wiped out of everything."

"I find that hard to believe."

"Then why am I here?" That question actually shut up the dark mage.

"You were made there?" Veran asked.

The clone nods, "After the old bosses were either killed out of greed or by their own creations. The whole company was dead, just like the thousands of people that was exposed their viruses. To make things simple for you, people became Re-Deads. Hundreds of people. As a matter of fact, Ayden's 'buddy' Nemesis, was one such creation, made from one such virus...though from a rival to take me out. I'm hard catch, however. I was created when Leo, the new boss, took over. What I'm telling you is from my master's mouth, I'm was not 'born' at the time when things were in disarray"

"But what's that got to do with-" Yuga starts to blurt out.

"I'm getting to it! Be patient."

"Do as he says," Akuma said.

Yuga crosses his arms to this and Ganon said, "Thank you. Now, years later everything was recovering when a cop and a young girl were in danger. The girl retreated with a vial in her hand, but the father was said to have been killed."

"A vial?" Maxwell wondered.

"I told you this before Maxy, don't you remember?."

"Stop calling me that and it's been a while."

"You feeling your age or something?"

"I'm not that old in dragon years!"

"Sorry, I don't know how that works, to be honest. Humans and dragons kind of confuse me sometimes." Maxwell thinks about this and actually understands why. "Anyway, that vial was taken to my creator and it was said that her father requested a clone of the evil king. The only way that could happen is her ability to change into anything which was mentioned on a note to Leo. The vial and the DNA wasn't the only thing that made me...well me."

"This is confusing," Veran said.

"You're in a different time, miss. You don't want to see the pain I take when one of the added chemicals in my body, react...but if I know you...you want to see that...don't you?" Ganon stretches a little then said, "My hands are falling asleep."

"Too bad," Yuga said, not caring then notices the clone had slipped out of the cuffs, one at a time and fell lightly to the ground, and shakes his hands out to try and wake them, shocking him.

"That's better," he said, then leans his back against the dungeon wall, again, not trying to escape.

"Ayden's not going to like this..." Veran said to the Demon Lord.

Confusing, yes, but the two continued to listen anyway, even though Onox wasn't very use to long, boring stories. After he saw that Ganondorf had removed the cuffs, he couldn't help but think that the explanation was all a trick, a plot to escape. The general watched him very carefully, aiming to take action if the clone makes another false move.

"You take us for fools, don't you?" he asked.

At least they got the information they were looking for, but that didn't mean the clone was off the hook. Oh no. But now that they saw that Ganondorf was able to escape his bindings so easily, letting him go so soon was most definitely out of the question. A snap of his fingers, and black blades surrounded the clone's neck on all sides. A simple wave of his hand, and he silently orders the others to take action must Nova does something out of the ordinary.

He sees the blades around his neck and asked, "Don't you remember last time?"

Demise, Broly, and Gangrel spot the fortress and the son of Nova said, "I sense him inside. That magic is strong. I don't think we can get in."

"Exdeath's on the case, as well as I'm going to give that stupid 'Demon Lord' a lesson first. I'm going to give Ganon some power. Mine! He's going to be another Demon King!"

"I don't know what kind of game you're playing, but your one mistake away from becoming mince meat," the general said as Ghirahim allowed the blades to vanish after hearing Ganondorf.

Ganondorf just made a short laugh, then hears cursing and said, "You better keep Ayden's voice clean..."

He comes in, and saw Nova freed, and shouts, "You're kidding me..."

Demise raises his sword in the air and the ground begins to shake then a blast of darkness was sent at the fortress.

Ganon was alerted and asked, "You feel that?" Dark lightning managed to get to where the clone was and it hits him hard, slamming him into the wall, as well as stunning him for a sec. This in turn confuses Yuga and Veran. The clone shakes off the blow and asked, "What hit me?"

"Maybe you shouldn't have escaped your bounds!" Ayden taunts.

"It was from outside," Nova then said.

"Ghirahim!" Demise's voice was heard around the group.

"What the?" Yuga said, looking around, Ganon included.

"I noticed from the other clone's that you have my descendent. It didn't take long for me to find you either..."

"You're not going to get in either, nor he's going to get out. You're wasting our time," Maxwell said.

"Well, I got bad news for you...you saw the lightning correct?"

"Of course we did!" Ayden said.

"Well lets just say...there's two demon kings now..." Black and blue smoke surround the clone and he floats off the ground, without his control as his clothing and armor return, attaching back on. Nova vanished from view in the darkness.

"What's happening?!" Veran shouts.

The darkness slowly vanishes as Ganondorf lands on his feet, showing a new look...making him look at it and said, "Huh, you got taste!"



"Thank you," Demise then said.

Akuma didn't say anything about this, as if knowing.

"Don't think you can get out!" Ayden shouts at Ganondorf, then the clone brings out a small item, saying, "You sure about that?"

Small vibrations were felt as the fortress was hit by the blast, and Ghirahim was alerted when he heard his name being called by his former master. Onox lets out a growl and was about to roar out, as an attempt to intimidate the others, but was silenced when he saw Ghirahim's arm shoot in front of him.

"I knew Demise would be coming in to rescue his descendent...sooner or later," he said, unimpressed with all of it as he lowered his arm to his side, "I think it's time l have a little fun with him. It's long overdue, after all."

"Not to call you weak, my lord, but you may not be able to take him on alone,"

The spirit tightened his fists, not because he was mad at Onox, but because the general was right. Then, both saw darkness surround Nova, before changing his appearance. Ghirahim looked to be the most impressed, but Onox was not.

"This must be Demise's doing," he spat.

"Impressive costume change," the former spirit mocked, "but don't think that will save you." Darkness covered his body before revealing his black metallic form, "I've underestimated you before, Nova, but never again. Joining together in one body will not be enough to make me quiver in fear. Heh, I'm going to enjoy this even more than I might believe."

Onox had the feeling that his master was getting over-confident. In response to this, he steps in beside Ghirahim, who made no bad move toward the general.

"Two people in one body vs one demon does not make for a fair fight," he said, readying his iron weapon, then turned to Yuga, Veran, and Ayden, "you wish to join in on the fun?"

However, before they could do anything, Ganondorf threw something on the ground, making a bright flash.

They both shielded their eyes with their arms in response to the flash.

"Stinking clone!" Ayden yells a moment later. Once everything dims, the ex-cop was now seen in the same chains Nova was in, and Maxwell was tied to a bed of nails, the clone no where to be seen but was heard laughing. Akuma gets Ayden out then the dragon, before they notice Yuga and Veran had disappeared too.

"Curse him!" Maxwell said once he got his bearings. Ayden was about to run out when glowing blue bars, slam down in front of him then heard, "Going somewhere?" Ganondorf was then seen, outside the dungeon bars, hand under his chin as if thinking and adds, "I said it before, and I'll say it again...I can't be contained."

"They are easy to fool," Demise said.

"I didn't know you could throw your voice," Gangrel said, impressed.

"Anything to trick the enemy," he said, "But if I know Ghirahim, he'll catch on quickly."

"Now what was it you said about me...?" Nova asked as he walked back and forth passing the bars, "Oh yeah! 'Pathetic excuse for 'the evil king's clone' and 'vile excuse of a weapon'. I don't know what to say about that...so I'll just make you feel like one big mockery for catching and sending me here. Seems like a fair trade, to me at least."

"Wait...How did you know about the first one? You were knocked out!" Maxwell said in anger.

"Not completely," Ganondorf said, then shows the back of his left hand, the blue gem glowing brightly before adding, "As long as a little of this toxin is in me, I'm never asleep. I didn't tell you about this, did I?" He lowers the hand and said, "The main staple that's in me, that I didn't speak of is Phazon. Oh don't bother trying to get the stuff, mostly because it can make you go insane, change your body or mutate in our terms...or death."

"Yet I can use it!" the dragon said.

"True...but weren't you mind controlled?"

"Granted, but-"

"I'm pretty sure you infected Demise with it as well..."

"Wait...what?"

"Ah yes. Demise got you to let me go by slashing a tentacle off to do so, before you attacked him too. He got sick, but didn't parish. No, he learned my Phazon powers, but higher in toxicity levels. Even more so that it can kill in seconds. You didn't know that did you?"

The dragon was silent at that point and Nova ends it saying, "Didn't think so, and to that I'll see you later." He was about to walk off, then stops and said, "Oops forgot one thing. About Yuga and Veran...they won't be able to help you at this time." He brings out the staff that Yuga owns in one hand, then a framed picture of both Veran and Yuga on it. "Sorry, but these two interest me and G2, so I'm taking them with me."

"You'll never get out!" Ayden shouts, "This fortress is made to keep-"

"I know...Keep people locked in here and people outside out...but to me, I love a challenge! Try and catch me!" And with both the staff and Painting in hand, he dashes off. Akuma just shook his head saying, "I'm not surprised at this. He had you figured out."

"How come you didn't do anything?!" Ayden asked the warrior out of anger.

"He knows me too well. I'd be in the same fix."

"Now we have to free ourselves," Maxwell said, growling, then to Akuma, "Though, I find it odd he didn't touch you anyway."

"Honor..."

"What?"

"It's an honor code between us. I won't bother him if he fighting someone and he won't interfere with my fights for example."

They notice the light fading, and took the chance to look around. Onox spots Ayden chained to the wall, and no sign of the clone.

"Curse you!!!" he roared out about Nova, "I'VE HAD ENOUGH TOYING FROM THOSE D@MN FOOLS!!!" His blood rushing throughout his body made it hard for him to calm down this time. He rushes toward Ayden and tries to set him free.

"Where is Yuga and Veran?!" asked the Demon Lord as he looked around, then turned to Ganondorf and spotted their pictures in a set of frames, "You...little..." After seeing him run off, Ghirahim snaps his fingers, making a large moblin with a spear appear, "Capture that nuisance and return the items he has in his possession!"

It complied, releasing a cry and charging after the clone.

Ganondorf continues to run, and while doing so, opens his gauntlet presses buttons on it, vanishing from view before backtracking past the moblin, without being seen. He reappears, a few minutes later, in a room out of sight and while he looked around and watching his back, he made a portal appear then whispers into it, "Demise! You there?"

Demise hears his voice then looks up as well as Gangrel and Broly and said, "Loud and clear. What's going on?"

"Catch," the clone said, and drops the painting and staff down the portal and the Demon king catches it, "Take it back to the crystal castle. I need to know more about them."

"I'll do it," Gangrel said, before taking off with the painting.

"Great," Ganon said, then to Demise, "Give me more time. I'm going to mess with them. Ghirahim being my biggest target."

"Make me proud," Demise said with a smirk, "Exdeath might get you out of there."

"Hold him off until I say so. In any other case, later."

Nova makes the portal vanish, before taking off again, this time he snaps his fingers to free his foes thinking, "Now it's fun time!"

He was about to pass by the exit, but he stops and walks back a little and thinks before he makes phazon blades come out of his arms and slashes the wall, but not to get out but to draw on it. Once done, it was the Umbrella symbol with the Triforce symbol on top of that making him say, "Perfect." He then takes off again, and hides in a nearby room. The clone looks around and notices many doors in the room. Out of curiosity he looks through each one and sees they are all cells for prisoners though all empty, made him think again. "They are really going to hate me for this. I'm going to mess with their minds, but it's just a waiting game now." He makes a music player and headphones appear, he puts them on, selects a song, played that song, while leaning his back against a nearby wall: foot tapping to the beat. A few short moments later, he senses something nearby and stops what he was doing. He walks out of the cell hall and noticed a door nearby, locked. Curiously, he walks over and made a lock-pick out of phazon before trying his luck with it. Once he opens it, his entered the room to see two large swords as if calling him.

"I don't like the looks of this...but yet," Ganondorf thought, and sent a vision to Demise, "You know anything with these weapons? They have the same energy as you."

"By Din's fire! I thought they were lost!" Demise then said in the clone's mind, "Those were my first weapons before that human possessed me. I used to use two swords years ago. Why don't you keep them for now and don't worry, you won't hear them speak, but the darkness they hold should help."

"Got it," the gerudo clone thought back, before walking towards the blades. Dark flames suddenly appear around them as he did and, carefully, grabs them by the hilt before pulling them out of it's pedestals. The flames die out as if they accepted him and Ganondorf said to himself, "I wonder how you got here..." He swung them in the air a couple of times to get a feel for the large swords and gave a nod of satisfaction before sheaths appear on his back and puts them away, making him think, "I wonder what other goodies are in this place...?" He looks back to see if Ghirahim's team had caught up yet then and he said, "We'll have to wait and see, don't we?" He disappears into the darkness and waits for his foes to show up.

Onox continues trying to break Ayden free from the chains that binded him, with his hands.

"I'll have you know that those outbursts of yours are really starting to test my patience," said Ghirahim to the general.

"Don't act like you're free from such anger, demon!" spat Onox, still focusing on breaking the chains.

A black rapier appeared in his hand, and he pointed it directly at the general's face, "Do you wish to be sent back to your grave?"

Slowly, the armored one turned to face him, the weapon being right at his face, but no signs of fear were seen, "I've faced death once, and I am not afraid to face it once more. However..." His hand lashed out, catching the blade, "I will not die until AFTER I get a taste of the hero’s blood, clone or not, and see just one look of our possible victory."

The two stared at one another for a few seconds before Onox released the blade. Ghirahim didn't seem to anger at that. He looked to be more impressed than anything as he took the blade back. Onox then continued on what he was trying to do.

The moblin stops in it's tracks and sniffs around, trying to get a scent of the clone and his allies. It walks past the room where Ganondorf was waiting in, not bothering to check and see if he was even in there.

Ayden was freed and shouts, "Curse that clone!"

"Let's move, Ganon shouldn't be too far," Maxwell said, and ran off.

Nova sneaks behind the moblin and made a whistle, to try and get it's attention.

(Why is it that when I go out, I miss things...-_-)

((What do you mean? I needed to think on what to post, that's why I'm late.))

"Take us to that retched clone so that I may rip him to pieces!!" said Onox.

It lets out a grunt as it turns around, spotting the clone. With a cry, it charges at Ganondorf with spear in hand.

"We have to find him first," Akuma said, "And we'll have to be careful at what we do."

"OK, somehow you know him more then us..." Ayden said, turning to the warrior, "Might as well spill the beans."

"For starters, watch your back...always. I noticed right away there's not enough light in this place and he's at his strongest here. He could strike at anytime in the shadows. He calls himself, 'Shadow King' because of it."

"I forgot about that. Most of the prisoners that are locked up are still traumatized by the whole thing..."

"Maxwell should be aware too, or he'll get picked off first for all I know."

"Shoot!"

That's when Ganondorf vanished saying, "Missed me..."

Maxwell soon heard dark laughter as he ran, but he stops a moment later when he heard, "Come...face me...Show me your 'power'..."

"If you're trying to scare me, it's not working," he said, knowing it's Nova.

"How about now?" the clone's voice was heard behind the dragon.

He turns to see Ganon staring at him, and he was grabbed. Maxwell soon realised he was in grave trouble.

Ayden and the others soon hear a scream and Ayden asked scared of this change of events, "Wha-what was that?"

"Maxwell...he's been caught." Akuma said with frustration.

Ganondorf walks down the hallway and says to himself, "Nothing like a good scare. It might be a while before he escapes the rope, but at least the fun will last."

As he walks down the hall he took a glance at a nearby room and continues on, but freezes in fear at what he saw. He walks back and looked again...

"Ultimate Chimera...Wait, it's not moving," he thought. He enters the room and thought, "How and why did they dig this up let alone....where's the bird?" He thinks about it, and thought, "Maybe I can use it somehow...I don't want it to murder everyone here. The switch has it turned off so I'm safe for now."

Onox growls at that, then a scream filled his ears.

"Curses!" he shouts, then began charging to locate Maxwell, and maybe rip apart a certain clone while he was at it.

Ghirahim didn't do a thing to stop the general.

The moblin stops and looks around, confused.

((Yeah, that's all I can think of after a hiatus here. Sorry.))

Mumbles were heard as the group ran by, and Ayden enters a room to see the dragon tied up, mouth covered as well. The ex-cheif of police unties him and Maxwell growls though a little shook up, "I've should have known he would do this to me."

Ayden was about to ask what happened, when loud roar was heard. Akuma runs out to spot Ganondorf dash out a door close by, and shut it behind him quickly, before pinning his back to it, as if trying to keep something in, before saying, "OK...That was a bad idea..."

"Ganondorf!" Akuma shouts at him out of anger.

"Can we talk later? We have a serious situation here," he said.

"What? Wait, what's in there?"

"Something I have to ask the 'Demon Lord' on," the clone said in anger, "Are his minions that stupid?! Weapons I understand, but what's in this room behind me, is more then that! It will kill all of us, and not care!"

Back at my crystal castle.

Gangrel runs back and jumps high, landing near it's doors then enters it to see most of my team nearby.

"Welcome back!" I say in surprise.

"Where were you? I was worried!" Sophia said, not exactly impressed.

"Sorry, I had to help out dad, but he gave me this to take back," the clone's son showed us, a painting of Yuga and Veran.

"The heck?" I said in surprise.
