Soon the entire area was engulfed with blue flames, but only the imps and other demons were affected by the blast and thus burned to ashes.
Kite stood in place for a moment, seemingly dizzy before he fell to the ground

Ganondorf caught him before he fell to the ground completely.
The human demon walked over the the wolf then started to pat her.

Dev place the rock near Kite's head, and burned a message into the stone that read: 'Kite, we went off to fight Orochi and save the girl. Meet up with us afterward, ok?'
Dev stood there proudly, until he realized that the rock sat in the exact same spot it was when they first found it.
"Awww crap!!"Dev exclaimed, now realizing what happened to Kite,"He's not going to remember us!! That blast not only took out his energy, but his memory too!! That's why he recognized us but didn't know why when he was the ghost kid!"

The clone's body started to glow, and he starts to send energy to the young man.

They soon found themselves in Orochi's throne room where the same temple shrine that was seen in the center.
