Where we had last left off, Ganondorf, Volvagia and Dev had found themselves in the world of Okami, where the clone had taken the place of Amaterasu. Together they came across a warrior known as Sephiroth, a sword weilding demon who helped slay a phazon duplicate of Ganondorf named Neganon, a ghost named "Kite" and a wandering musician named Ralph.
Ganondorf and Dev were able to slay the dreaded serpent named Orochi with partial help from Susano. Sephiroth, Ganondorf, Dante, Volvagia, Dev and Issun all went back to Kamiki to celebrate their victory, but still searching for the cause of the impending darkness that is destined to swallow the world they are currently on.

Ganondorf sported a smirk then spotted a demon nearby.
It gave a salute then left, making Ganondorf and Volvagia confused.
(Yes, baby Volvagia was with them too.)

Dev sighed, not wanting to be alone and instead followed them out of the village.
As the exited, the sun suddenly rose up.
"By the way....could we stop at Kusa village again??"Dev asked
"What? Why???"Issun asked in confusion
"Because I want to by my girlfriend a souvenire..."Dev said, a little embarassed
This time Issun sighed

Dev landed on his feet and followed the clone to the Satomi house, where Ralph and Hori sat beside the statue of the Roach.
