Prologue


Gasping was heard in the air as someone was running for their life, the sound of heavy armored steps behind the person. That person was the Princess of Hyrule, Zelda.



She quickly stops when she spots the bridge of Eldin, wiped out.

"What?!" she asked in shock.



"Don't bother, Zelda. It's useless," a voice was heard behind her.

She turns to the voice spotting Ganondorf, the King of Evil.



"I thought you changed," Zelda said.

Ganondorf laughed and said, "Not bad at acting huh? You should know me better. You know what I want, and I order you to give it to me."

"Just for you to take over Hyrule? Never!"

"Sigh...as unruly as ever..." Ganondorf said, shaking his head then adds, "Why must you fight...when you can't win?"



"Link will stop you. You know it!"

Acting terrified he said, "Oh my! I'm scared...Bah! I have something he doesn't...thanks to Bowser."

"What? What about him?"

"A new power was found by him and Wario. An accident really."

"Power?"

"Then it hit me...quite literally too...then got a little deeper into it and found something incredible...that will help me take over this world and all others. Allow me to show you..."

He folds is arms, and he quickly starts to glow a strange aura, the triforce of power not even showing at all.

"What is this?!" Zelda asked in shock.



Ganondorf laughs, looks at her with glowing eyes and said, "I went a little deep...deep into the core of the Smash Ball. Now I not only have the power to take weaklings like you...but control their minds...You are my first target, princess."

"They wear off!"

"I made this one...unlimited...you can't harm me now!"

She tries to use her attack on him but quickly realized that it's not working.



Ganondorf grabbed her and said, "You need to improve your spells...that didn't hurt at all..."



He sent a spell through her body and she fell on the ground.

"Sleep tight...my new recruit..." Ganondorf said with a smirk.



"Now...who else should I control?" he started to think.

Yikes... Very good start, too!

It was a cold -30 in the Shadow Moses Island and everything was quiet when a figure suddenly appeared out of nowhere, revealing Snake.

"OK...now I just have to..." he started, then heard something in his ear piece, "Great...What a time."

He placed his hand on his ear and said, "This is Snake."



"This the Cornall. I need you back in the Smash Bros World," a voice was heard.

"What?"

"I have received information on an eye witness, that says Princess Zelda is not herself."

"What about Link?"

"Link had headed out for training at that time. The number one suspect for this case, may be the Gerudo King, Ganondorf."

"So do I have to go after him?"

"No, I need you to see if you can help Zelda. Others that tried to help ended up almost shot by an arrow of light. One fellow was hit, and had to be transported to a nearby doctor with near fatal wounds."

"Grr...I'm going to a have a fun time with her...Where is she now?"

"She's still in her home world of Hyrule. Be very careful."

"Got it," he said, then runs off.

Snake managed to get to Hyrule, without any problems and started to think to himself, "I heard Ganondorf wants to control Hyrule. This must be his goal again...sigh...Some people don't learn..."



He spots Zelda not far from him, back turned and said, "Excuse me. Zelda? I wish to talk to you."

There was no response from her.



"Princess? I don't want any trouble."

She starts to glow as well as her eyes and asked, in a trance, "Must you bother me?"



"She sounds like she's under control of something," Snake thought, "That brings back memories."

"Leave now. I must get everything ready for Lord Ganon."

"So it was him," Snake thought then said, "Please listen to me."

Zelda turns slightly and asked, "Are you with him or against him?"



"This isn't good," Snake thought again then asked, "Why are you with him?"

"He gave me power...and knowledge...for a new future...I felt at peace..." Zelda said, still in a trance, "You must join us."

"Don't give me that. Fight it!"

"So you are against my master's wishes," she continued, arms slightly folded.



"He trying to conquer your world! Snap out of it!"

"It was his to begin with."

"Don't listen to him!"

"You are testing my patience..." Zelda said not impressed.



She then brings out a large bow, making Snake back up.

"Begone," she said and fired.



Snake was hit hard and fell to the ground from the attacks power.

"They weren't kidding about the arrows!" Snake said.



He slowly got back up and thought, "One more shot and I'm done."

"Do you see the power? It was impressive...was it not?"



"I've been hit harder," Snake said.

"How dare you. I will change that with your life," Zelda said and was about to fire another, when Snake dashed in and grabbed her, making her say, "Let go of me!"

"Sorry, I can't do that," he said, "I need you to come to your senses."



Zelda tried to resist but, not only did Snake have a better grip, he had a cloth in his hand with a gas in it to put her to sleep.

It worked and she stopped.

Snake placed her one the ground gently, where she slept.



Snake called the Cornall and said, "I found the problem with Zelda. Ganondorf used some sort attack on her, making her obey him. I got shot by the arrow, but I'm fine now."

"I'm glad. How is she now?"

"She asleep and-What the?" he said in surprise as Zelda had stopped glowing.



"What is it?"

"The glowing vanished!"

Zelda moans a bit.

"Find out what happened and give me every detail," the Cornall said.

"Right..." Snake said, "Zelda...are you OK?"

"I think so," she said, "What happened?"

"That's what I like to know."

"All I remember, was Ganondorf told me about this...power he gained."

"Power? What kind?"

"I don't know...he didn't give much information, except he learned about it from battling Bowser."

Snake growls at that then said, "What happened after that?"

"He grabbed me...but I don't remember anything after that..."

"It's OK. Can you a least tell me where he might have run off to?"

"He might be at Hyrule Temple, but I'm not sure."

"OK. Rest up, I'm going to handle him myself," Snake said, "Stay here."

He runs off quickly to catch the gerudo.

"So that's what happened..." Cornall said on the mike, "I wonder what this power was..."

"She looked like she was in shock. If she had any more info..." Snake said.

"We'll figure it out later. Otacon just informed me of something important. Ganondorf is indeed in Hyrule Temple, but someone else is there too."

"What? Who?"

In Hyrule Temple, Link trained alone.



"Things have been quiet since Tabuu's defeat, but I feel Ganondorf is up to no good," he thought, "I found out that he helped Peach, however I don't believe any word of it. I know it's part of something, what I don't know."

He stopped to think and thought again, "Bowser's been missing for at least a month now. What could have happened back there?"

"Training I see," the gerudo's voice as heard.

"What the? Have you been there the whole time?" Link asked turning to him.

"Can't a fellow have a little entertainment? I just got here."



"Why are you here?" Link asked.

"I thought I'd watch for a bit," Ganondorf said calmly.

"Like I believe that. What are you up to?"

"If you must know, I had a little fun a moment ago," the gerudo king said, eyes now locked on him.



"Fun?" Link asked.

"Yes...making Zelda obey me," Ganondorf adds, with a smirk.

"What?! What did you do to her?!"

He laughs then said, "I'm not telling...yet."

"You monster! What are you planning to do?!"

"Battle me and you'll find out, kid," he said, now unfolding his arms, "What do you say? For old times sake?"

"That I'll gladly accept," Link said, "Come on!"



"You want to fight that badly huh? This is going to be fun," Ganondorf said as he walked over.

"Enough talking," Link said, "Let's go."



"He's going to learn very quickly that I'm not like before..." Ganondorf thought, laughing in his mind that Link is unaware of his new power nor his plans, and sent his opening attack as Link leaps at him.

Another cliffhanger? Oh well, I like cliffhangers! ;D Lovely chapter!

I changed a few things in the last chapter(not much to notice though).


Hours went by as Ganondorf and Link fought, and the gerudo jumped the warrior's last attack.



Ganondorf laughs and said, "Ahh, this brought back memories. I thank you, kid."

"Don't call me that. Now talk, what did you do to Zelda?!" Link demanded.

"I used a new power on her. She couldn't even scratch me to stop my attack. Watch..."

He lightly focused and the same glow around his body was seen before the Hylian's eyes.



"What do you think, boy?" Ganondorf asked, taunting, "Impressive, is it not?"

"If you are trying to scare me, it's not working," Link said.

"Heh, want to go another round then?"

The warrior wasn't sure this time, knowing it might be a trap.

"I think I'll make the first move anyway," Ganondorf said with a smirk.

Link was quickly alerted at that.



Ganondorf charged and, much to Link's surprise, was faster then before, was grabbed, and lifted into the air.



He laughs and said, "Now you are a part of my army!!"

The evil king fires a blast of darkness into Link, knocking him out cold, then drops him the ground.

"Part one done," Ganondorf said then thought, "Good thing I didn't say anything about me taking the triforce piece out of Zelda too...or he would have given me an even harder time..."

He smashes his fist into his palm and said, "Now...lets see what I can do with you."



He makes the glowing on his body fade out, then started to extract the Triforce of Courage out of Link, not realising someone was watching him.

Not Link too... Grr...I hope Snake puts a major hurt on him!

Snake jumps down and shouted, "Ganon!"

The gerudo turns and asked, "What's this? Another insect for me to crush? What are you doing here, solider boy?"



"To stop you! I heard what you did to Zelda!" Snake said.

Ganondorf just turns his back to him and asked, "Not bad a trick huh?"

"What's this about?"

The evil king laughs a little, turns slightly then asked, "You mean Zelda didn't show you?"



"You mean that arrow?"

"Not just the arrow of light," Ganon said, "The glow around her."

"Yeah I saw it."

"Good, then it's working."

"What are you talking about?"

"I gave her more power then in her wildest dreams...and she became my minion."

"Not anymore, I made her come back to her senses."

Ganondorf just laughed confusing Snake until he shouted, "What's so funny?!"

"Idiot...She'll be back in the same state in few moments," Ganon said

"What?!" Snake said in shock.

"The power I now have allows me to keep her on my side," he added with a smirk, "There's nothing you can do."

Snake growled then he saw Ganondorf glow.



"I'm too much for you, Snake," the gerudo said, "You too will be working for me, but for now lets have some fun."

He turns around, kneels down then lightly focused, and transfered the light to the downed warrior, making Link glow.



Ganondorf gets back up, turns and said, "Now what was that foe you told us about? Psycho Mantis? Even he can't handle what I'm about to do."



"Lets make this easier on both of us," he starts as Link got up, now under the gerudo's control, "Join me and you don't have to suffer any pain."



"Forget it! If power is all you think of, that means you are weak all around."

"Sigh, sometimes I wonder about you," he said, "You fools are all the same."

He walks past Link then added, slightly turning, "This is a war that even you, can't win. So long Snake."

He looks down at the warrior and said, "Link, make sure he slithers back into the ground where he belongs...and stays there for all eternity."

"Yes, sir," Link said in his trance.



Ganondorf walks off while Snake and Link got ready to battle each other.

Link charges at the solider with great speed.



"Great," Snake thought, "First Zelda now Link. I have to think fast."

Link stabs at him, but he managed to dodge the attack only to get a shock at what was coming next.

A ray of light hits him from the back of Link's left hand, and in a flash, was right in front of him, slashing at his body in great speeds.



The final slash sends Snake flying to another part of the temple, Link in persuit and when he got there his foe was on his back on the ground.

He looks at him while putting his weapons away.



He says nothing and was about to leave, but saw Snake get to his feet, in the corner on his eye, and got out his weapons again, ready for anything.



Link was to slash at him again, but Snake quickly kicks him away.



Link lands on a platform below and quickly got up as Snake got down from the ledge.

The warrior taunts his foe without a sound.

"This is pretty bad. If what Ganondorf says is true, even if I knock him out, he'll still go after me," Snake thought, looking away for a moment, "But it might give me a chance to get out of here and catch him."



Link charges again, but Snake grabs him and threw him to another spot.

Snake jumps down to meet Link who was on his feet once more.

"Stop this right now!" Snake said, ready for him.



Link ignores the threat and charges after him, but Snake manages to knock him out with a swift punch, sending him flying a little.

The warrior was on his back, out cold.



Snake then gets a call from Otacon and he asked, "What's going on out there?"

"I was in a big fight. Bad news, Ganondorf got to Link too. I was trying to stop that gerudo, but he put some sort of spell on Link, making him attack me."

"Dang, the Triforce of Power doesn't have this kind of effect on people. Cornal told me he has something new, but I didn't expect it to be like this. Are you healthy at least?"

"I'm fine, but I lost track of Ganondorf."

"This is good timing for me then," Otacon said, "I was going to tell you that he is heading for Battlefield Fortress."

"Battlefield Fortress? Real creative..."

"You must hurry. Who know what he's going to do when he gets there."

"Got it," Snake said then rushed off.

Ten minutes later, Snake layed down on decorative flag, just above the main room, waiting for Ganondorf to show.



"Anything?" Cornal asked.

"Nothing yet," Snake said in a whisper, "Wait...I think I see him now."

Just as he said it, Ganondorf was seen walking past unaware of Snake's presence.



Snake quietly jumped down and slowly snuck up on the king of evil.

Before Ganondorf could realise what was going on, Snake grabbed his target from behind.



"Gotcha!" Snake said, "This is the end of the line for you!"

That's when the gerudo started to glow again, broke free by flipping over Snake with every strength in his body, making him loosing his grip from sudden action, shocking the solider.

Snake was grabbed this time and lifted off his feet by an unknown power.



"Nice try," Ganondorf said, with annoyance then threw him away.

Snake flipped to his feet and was ready for him again.

The evil king just laughed and walked in close to him.



Snake attacked him, but only to see it blocked or dodged, by his unexpected increase in speed.

Eventually his attacks were countered, almost making him black out, and Snake was lifted into the air.



"Hmm...You'll make an excellent addition to my growing army," Ganondorf said with a smirk.

"I'll never follow you," Snake said.

The gerudo king laughs and said, "What an idiot..."

He was about to do a final attack, when he heard something heavy land behind him.

Ganondorf drops Snake and turns the sound.



"What the? Who are-?"

Next thing, he was was hit by a thunder like attack, stunning Ganondorf and making him fall to his knees for a moment.



"Begone," a voice was heard.

Ganondorf growls as he got up and was about to attack again, but the person was quicker, sending the gerudo flying hard and fast.



The person walked over to Snake, whom was still unconscious and said, "Don't worry Snake...I'm here to help you."



(I did not mess up the last shot. The boot and the hand is part of it)

(Sorry for taking so long. This Decrypter thing made me fed up with do it the other way, so I'm doing it the old way again)

Hours went by and Snake started to wake up to the sun that was beating down on him.



"Ugh...what happened?" he asked as he started to sit up, then looked around, "Where am I?"

As he looked around he tries to contact Octacon or anybody back at headquarters, but all he got was static, making him curse a little.

"I see you're awake," the voice of Ganondorf was heard, "Let alone...able to think straight. Looks like I grabbed you at the right time."

The solider turns and see a person on a ledge which seemed to be Ganondorf, but his tone was different.



"Back again are you?" snake said, and threw a punch at him, once the stranger jumpped down, only to have it caught by his foe's hand. He sends few more then a kick at him which the man ducked easily.

"Down," the man said, and suddenly Snake was on the ground and pinned by an unseen force.

He tries to get up, but the weight made him unable to even lift an arm.

"Calm yourself," the man said, "I'm not what you think."

"Yeah right! I'm not going to be fooled again," he said.

"Very well," he said then the weight was lifted off of Snake.

Snake gets up and looks at him in confusion.



"Well? Aren't you going to hit me or something?" the man asked.

"Why are you acting different?" Snake asked.

"Because I'm not the same man...or human, take your pick."

"Wait what?"

The man removes a patch of fake skin on his right eye, showing a scar, and fake beard, showing that he was clean cut, before placing it back on, hiding it again and said, "I'm known from my world as 'Neutron Nova'. I'm called Ganondorf as well, because of how I look. I was sent here to stop the real deal."

"OK...I'm getting a little-'

"Creeped out?"

"What the?! How'd you?!"

"I read minds."

"Oh great...I suppose that's how you managed to block my attacks, huh?"

Neutron Nova shook his head and said, "Nah. I know a little martical arts myself, like you. We are also alike in a couple of other things too. I'm from your world and I'm a clone."

"What?! Why didn't the Cornall tell me?!"

"Calm yourself. He never knew, much like the rest of the population of Earth. We were nothing but rumors."

"We're?"

"Have you heard anything like a man comming out in the dead of night and saving someone from a fire or attacks from a killer suddenly vanish and when officers walk in, the person is tied up? That was all me."

This surprised Snake, then he asked, "Why are you telling me this?"

"If I didn't, I know you'd try and hit me again. I need you to trust me," C. Ganondorf said.

"I'm not sure you are speaking the truth, but OK. What do you know?"

"Your Ganondorf found out about the power of the Smash Ball by accident a few months ago. The first user was from a man by the name of Wario."

"Wario? I heard it was Bowser," Snake asked a little confused.



"Not exactly. Wario found the first one, and used it, but never used it to it's fullest as he didn't know anything about it. Bowser was with him at the time, found one himself and used it's power to defeat Ganondorf. The Gerudo was revived and they battled out again, Triforce of Power vs Smash Ball."

"I take it Ganon won..."

"Actually it was a tie and from the info I got, he became curious of the item as well. He looked up everything on it and discovered it's core power. Thus the results you wittnessed."

"Hmm..."

"The worse part was...that wasn't the plan the first time."

"What?!"

"During that time, he tricked Princess Peach, as he was about to use her for something...what..I'd like to know..."

"He might go after her again!"

"This I'm not sure of now...He seems quite content with what he has right now. Even though I had to stop him from placing that mind control on you."

"That was you? But how? He's a lot faster then he was before."

C. Ganondorf crossed his arms then said, "Let me put it this way, I am also known as the 'Ultimate Lifeform'. My strength, my speed, and my mind are far more superior to that of a normal humans. You are going to need my help to stop this new threat."



"Hmm, OK, but no funny stuff," Snake said.

"You have my word," C. Ganondorf said.

"Fine, lets go," he said then dashed off, the clone behind him.
