Well, lets here it. Which character are you most excited about so far in SSBB? I'd have to say that, for myself, Meta Knight wins by far. He's like an experienced version of Kirby, with a sword. But Meta Knight's much more mysterious, and no one ever knows who's side he's on. And with quick attacks, flying capabilities, and some sort of an invisible shield, I'm quite impressed, and so far Meta Knight's my fav.

I'm tied between Meta Knight and Pit.
Pit is the same as Meta Knight, he can fly and has a weapon. But with Pit he has a weapon that changes into different weapons(ex: bow). I think he makes a good fighter in this one too.

I kinda think Pit gets my vote, too.

From what I hear Snake is not going to use some of the more modern weapons in the game(ex: some types of guns), but he will use more explosive weapons however. I found Nintendo's Smash Bros. site www.smashbros.com

Yeah, that's true. I'm happy with that tho. It's hard to see bullets in the game anyways. Sheik's Needle in SSBM was pretty tough to see too.

Funny, I saw the needles, oh well...
I have no idea what Wario does, except the move in the demo movie. What do you think?

Sorry ganondorf2, I can see the needles, but they are hard to see. I guess bullets are harder to see.
Anyways I don't know what Wario does, but that Wario Waft! Lol.

Of the ones announced, I'd say Meta Knight is the one I'm most excited about. Kirby was my favorite character in the original SSB, but the tweaks they made to him for SSBM killed his usefulness, in my opinion. I'm eager to see what they do with Meta Knight. Of course, if Ridley is a viable option, he gets my vote.

Yeah I agree entirely foolishgrunt. I don't know what they did to Kirby in Melee, but they made him slower, and all his attacked don't hit your opponent where you want them too. Kirby was the best in SSB.

Kirby looks the same as he did in Melee, I think! Maybe they'll improve him as they work on the game.

Samus looks real cool, too! I just hope that you can choose between her Zero suit form and her other suit, because it would suck if the suit falls apart!

I think I know why Snake's not allowed to have guns in SSBB. Bullets move pretty darn fast, so how can you dodge them?

I think I know why Snake's not allowed to have guns in SSBB. Bullets move pretty darn fast, so how can you dodge them? Nintedno has said that they thought guns would be too realistic, thus the "cartoony" use of explosives. Not that explosives are cartoony, but traditionally they aren't thrown about, say, castles and giant battle-airships.

yeah, I can see it now. Mario runs towards Snake, who shoots at him. Mario attempts to deflect the bullet with a cape, and the bullet tears right through and lodges withing his huge head. Mario is immediately rushed to the emergency room level where Doctor MArio announces that he can not remove the bullet, which, over the years, will slowly demolish all of his senses leaving him without the ability to feel pain until one day it reaches the core of his brain and he will die. Mario changes his name, grows taller and heads off to London, where he begins to plot an evil plan until James Bond comes along to stop him, as documented in The World is Not Enough.

It;s my little way of saying that guns of a realistic type could, as far as I can tell, absolutely not fit into a Smash Bros. Game. Not realistic ones, at any rate.
