"So, it needs more salt?" I ask, "How would we be able to help with that?"

"Salt the hell out of that plant's food," said Zali, "is what I would say if it were that easy. That, or give it a saltlick or saltrock."

"Uh-" I didn't bother to comment.

"I'm not an expert at plant needs," said Brandon, "especially sentient ones. What Zali recommended sounds easy to help out with, but before we bother, is there any special needs for a creature like this?"

"They are hunters so it's hard," she said then snapped out of focus and asked, "I didn't think we had guests. Sorry for no greeting from me."

"Uh, no," Brandon quickly composed himself, "we're sorry for not addressing it before."

"We've just overheard you about the plant and decided to check things out," Zali replied.

"Sophia, right?" I ask as I recognize her, smiling, "It's been a while."

Brandon then remembered her as well, "Oh, yes. Aside from all this, how are things fairing with you?"

Zali stayed out of it for now, having never met the woman before.

"Busy as usual. Crime has sky rocketed these days as well monster reports. I heard from Nova the problems over this area as well," she said.

"Brandon might better at explaining the problem than me...just to keep you up to date," I said.

"Monsters...or dragons?" asked Zali, "That's something we've been dragged in the middle of as of late."

"To put it simply; I'm being targeted by a vengeful clan," Brandon explained, "although I'm suspecting it's more than just a revenge scheme."

"Only because they don't seem to be putting their all into it," Zali replied, "it's more like they're toying with us at the moment."

"I figured that was the case and you just confirmed it for me," Sophia said, "Nova has been keeping in touch with me on this issue the whole time." Noticing Athena she said, "I worry about you as well."

"Well she escaped from the clan that's been causing the attacks. Just showing around the place and pokemon," I said.

"I think she needs one herself. What's your name?"

"Athena. I have a friend, but I think she's resting right now," she said, "Her name is Bellona."

Sophia studies her for a moment.

"That's a relief," Brandon said to her about Nova keeping her updated.

I nor Zali didn't reply to this.

"Hmm...I think...Tinkaton would be best for you," Sophia said to Athena.

"Tinkaton? I don't know anything about Pokémon," she said.

"That's one of our newest in the clone line too. Are you sure?" I asked.

"I'm sure she will be a big help," Sophia said, "You might have a lot of questions."

"I think everyone would want to know, me included," Broly said, just now knowing about it.

"Sorry, doesn't help with our job..." I said.

"You have new clones?" I spoke up, "Since when?"

Brandon listens in on this as well.

"Last year. They had to get used to the zones," I said, "Some are a little dangerous to work with, but they got used to the place quickly. when I say dangerous...well..."

"Well what?" Athena asked.

"Four of them caused an entire empire to be wiped out...least it was said in stories."

That caught Brandon's attention as well as Zali.

"What stories?" the prince asked, "If you don't mind me asking?"

"It was said an old emperor was given four items. Tablets said to give wisdom. A sword of great beauty as well power. A ritual vessel said to be used for scarifies and prayer beads worn for such. He bought them all, however, because his mind was dark and filled with grudge, hatred, fear and envy respectively they changed into Pokémon and well...you get the hint."

"That sounds scary," Athena said.

[Shadow Dragon]

"Hmm," Brandon pondered, then shook his head, "I'm not familiar with those at all."

"And these 'Pokemon'?" Zali questioned.

"No. Sorry,"

"But now I'm curious," I told him, "what kind of Pokemon are they, I wonder."

"Beads, a vessel, a sword and tablets or scrolls? That's what they were?" Athena asked.

"Yeah. They go by Chi-Yu, Ting-Lu, Chien-Pao and Wo-Chien in the order you described them," I said, "One caused earthquakes, another made blizzards and avalanches, another rots to all plant life and last creates infernos to burn everything it flies to."

"No wonder they cause this kingdom to fall..."

[Shadow Dragon]

"Bad," I said, "if our enemy finds out about them, we're in trouble."

"I don't think we have anything to worry about," said Brandon in a serious tone to reassure me and the others, "these 'zones' seem hard to get to without assistance from Nova or the other clones."

"Good," Zali sighed, "we don't need anymore headaches other than what we're currently dealing with." Then he got to thinking, "Actually, if Nova allows, it could probably give us the upperhand if we ever fight those idiot clansmen again."

"How?" I ask him.

Brandon shook his head, "That's not up to us to decide that, Zali."

"Note what I said however," I repeat, "Grudge, hatred, fear and envy made them. So those that wish for revenge and if he takes any of them won't be happy to see those four turn and cause chaos on him and his clan and not on us. They know us by heart anyway."

"Should we...look at them?" Athena asked.

"I don't see why not," I said, then walked off, "Two are nearby anyway."

[The Melee Master]

Listening in on everything but not saying a word, Melee followed the groups.

As we walked and I see a cave and a snail like creature was at it's entrance and said, "There's one."



"Which one is that?" Athena asked.

"Wo-Chien."

It turned its eyes and spots the group, doesn't move but said, "Scriibe?"

"Uh..." the dragon said and saw vines appear out of it's sides and reach out to her, "What do I do?"

"It's testing you. Just relax. This is the one that can cause crops to rot, but it can't do flesh like on humans."

"That's good," I reply as I follow, then stopped as I saw a creature.

"That's a Pokemon?" asked Zali.

I look at it with curiosity.

It leaves her be and slowly heads for a cave.

"That was...scary," Athena said.

"You're safe. It there's was a problem Wo-Chien would have let me know," I said.

"How can you tell?"

"It's no different from a normal animal. They can tell if you are good at heart."

"You can tell too?"

"From the start when you entered the area. Granted I messed up at one point, as I didn't know about about the Sythers training today, but the Pokémon would have attacked you by now if they sense if you were a bad person."

Athena looks around and said, "I feel there's more to this place too."

"Yes there is, but it's best you keep in mind of what I told you as those four are just a taste of the power Pokémon can do."

[Shadow Dragon]

"He's not lying either," I told her as I watch the Wo-Chien head to the cave.

"Should I ask about this Tinkaton thing then?" Athena asked.

"She is strong, and should be able to handle the dragons because of her type mix," I said, "If things go really rough, I think I have another to help you out."

I walk ahead in the mean time.

"Might need all the help we can get at this point," I replied as I follow, Brandon and Zali following as well.

I head for a small plain, my team behind me as more flying types flew overhead. Something was watching us with interest at this time too, following as it did. We could hear something being slammed down to the ground. Like a large hammer and sure enough a creature that looked like a girl was seen, holding a massive hammer.



"Is that?" Athena started.

"Yes ma'am. That's Tinkaton."

Hearing her name she turned to the group, weapon over her shoulder and waved.

Looking around the plain, I spot a pink Pokemon with a giant hammer.

"Whoa," Zali was impressed, "what's with the weapon?"

"Her means of attacking. Get this: It weighs 220 pounds! She's able to swing the hammer at boulders to send them at anything that she targets. I'm glad the clone version doesn't cause trouble. They tend to steal stuff and take the object in question to their den."

Tinkaton puts down the weapon and puts out her hand to Athena and said, "Ton!"

"Uh hello," the dragon said knelling down and taking the hand and shook it.

"She seems to like you," Mewtwo said, "I sense no fear."

"With that whammer, she has fears?"

"I'll take your word for it," said Zali.

"I was going to ask the same question," I reply about the hammer.

"She is cute, I must admit," Athena said, petting Tinkaton on the head, which she made a big smile.

A rustle in the bushes caught the dragon and the Pokemon's attention, and this made Tinkaton grab her hammer and stand in front of Athena, to protect her.

{It's OK. I'm a little slow today, too.}

I hear the sound of bushes rustling and turn to it's direction. Zali reached for a pocket knife in the back of his pants, and Brandon didn't move, but kept an eye on the bushes in preperation.

Two eyes were seen before a small creature walked out, arms up and a little scared and this made Tikaton lower her weapon, place it n the ground and rush over to give it a hug to say sorry.

"Huh, funny timing. I was going to show her the Sableye," I said.

"Sableye?" Athena asked, "Is something wrong with it's eyes?"

"That's normal. It eats rocks but mostly looks for gems to eat. Mostly nocturnal but likes to hang out in caves. Why it out here, in the daylight, I have no idea
