I open the door and said, "Oops my mistake! Hey Andrew. Just got off work?"

"Long ago, and was about relax when I heard the sound of a large animal flying in," he said walking in, then was surprised and asked, "Am I interrupting something?"

[Shadow Dragon]

"No, nothing," answered Brandon, "we were just discussing some things. How have you been?"

Zali and the gang kept their mouths shut as this was their first meeting with Andrew.

"Well, this is a surprise!" he said turning to him, "Slow day I'm afraid, but I'm fine. I didn't expect a visit. I hope all is well."

[Shadow Dragon]

Zali sighed, "As a matter of fact, we may have some trouble ahead of us."

"Oh," I spoke up, "um, these are some acquaintances of ours. They're here to help out with a situation-"

"-under the request of a friend," said Zali, walking over to Andrew and holding out his hand, "name's Zali."

"Andrew Birkin," he said, taking his hand, "What seems to be the problem?"

[Shadow Dragon]

"Have you heard anything about a clan called IronHeart?" Brandon asked, "We have reason to believe they're out for blood."

"As well as them being the cause of two problems from the past," said Vincet.

[ganondorf2]

"I'm afraid I have not, but I'm willing to learn," he said, then hearing the second part, "Out for blood you say. We get things like that a lot around here, so that doesn't help me pin down on who. Ganondorf is usually the target for some."

[Shadow Dragon]

"Well, I seem to be their target this time around," sighed Brandon, "the Ironheart clan is one my father fought during the final war of my homeland. The leader, I assume him to be, claims that my father killed his father during the war, so he's out for blood."

"And we failed to notice the warning signs that connect them to the clan," I sighed, "at least, not until it was too late."

"I'm glad you're here then. I thought there was something amiss," he said as Nova hung up, "When you get attacked yourself over the years, you pick up things. I had my fair share of enemies, I'll tell you that much. Once they found out what I'm like... let's just say, they haven't bothered me again."

[Shadow Dragon]

"Like what?" questioned Zali.

"You've heard of the draconic feud between Haku and Tikal, correct?" Vincet asked, "Archion's meddling caused a chain reaction that awakened the three demonic entities, and that resulted in their feud."

"And we've just found that out, too," Brandon said.

[ganondorf2]

"Ok, that I learned about from Gangrel. It disgusts me," he said, holding back on the 'like what' part for a moment then said, "Let's just say, I was once human. What I can change into...I won't discuss too much."

[Shadow Dragon]

"Uh, I think we'll take your word for it," said Sparky.

"Yes, please do," I told him.

[ganondorf2]

"You better not," Ganondorf said, "Took me a while to get used to it myself."

Andrew just laughs and said, "Tame to what you had to go through."

"Too true. Could you do me a favor? There are a couple of guests visiting. Could you check on them from time to time?"

"But of course. Lead the way," he said before following the clone out.

[Shadow Dragon]

"OK then," Sparky said nothing else after.

[ganondorf2]

"Andrew saved big guy's life. Though it was supposed to be the other way around," I said, "He took a risk, but that scientist wouldn't be here if he didn't."

[Shadow Dragon]

"Saved from what?" asked Zali out of curiosity.

[ganondorf2]

"Maxwell put a hit on Andrew, and the man almost died. Ganondorf wasn't sure how to save him...until he asked to inject the contents of a needle into the scientist. The killer came back and was about finish both of them off when Andrew changed form out of his control. Rest is history. He's able to change into a monster at any point if he or his allies are in danger. Just...don't ask about one of those forms. I still get nightmares...so does he," I say.

[Shadow Dragon]

"I understand," Zali nods, "I'll keep my mouth shut."

[ganondorf2]

Ganondorf came back a moment later and said, "All's good now. At least if they need anything, he can let us know."

[The Melee Master]

"Good to know," said Melee, not knowing what else to say as she folded her arms.

[ganondorf2]

"Would you like to explore a little?" I asked, "I'm pretty sure you want to have a stretch."

[Shadow Dragon]

"By now, yes," said Zali.

"Yeah, my wings could use some stretching out," sighed Ed.

"Anyone else?"

"Don't mind if I do!" Tristan replied, standing up.

"I'll go," said Vormen, "but I'm heading back to Brandon's castle. I've stayed here long enough!"

"I'm sorry to crush any hopes of you being safe there," Zali said, "but with the outsider dragons knowing who His Highness is, I don't believe even the castle is a safe place to be at right now."

Brandon sighed, "You're right, but what about..."

"You do know my father is still there, and he can't defend himself, right?" Vormen reminded Zali and Brandon.

"Then are you going back after him?" I ask Vormen.

"Yes, I have to. Someone's gotta stay with him, after all."

"Yeah, that guy could barely stand, even with a cane, last we saw," said Brian.

"If that's the case, would you mind if we send one of our own to bring him here?" I offered, "We can help with his recovery."

[Shadow Dragon]

"That sounds like a good idea," said Vormen, "let's do that."

"And...I was thinking," said Zali to his gang, "Why don't all of you stay here, too? Help protect Torvan, and all the castles inside and out?"

"Huh?" The gang looked at each other, then back to their leader.

"I'll go with the others. No sense in all of us going at once and risk getting killed."

"But then you'll be at risk," said Samantha.

"That's never stopped me before," Zali turns to everyone, "a leader looks out for his own and does everything in his or her power to protect the pack. I wouldn't be doing this if I knew you'd still be in danger, but you'll be at an even greater risk by being with us in this fiasco."

"Zali..." Brian said.

Unfortunately, they knew of Zali's stubbornness. Once the dragon leader makes up his mind, that was the end of it.

"We have a clone here, named Zelda. She was with him before and can make a portal to get him here. Sound good?" I said.

[Shadow Dragon]

"Yeah," Brandon nods, "but he'll probably need help getting through. Thank you."

[ganondorf2]

"It won't be a problem," I said walking off, "She has a side form herself. She can help him get in."

"Ah yes, Articuno," Ganondorf said.

[Shadow Dragon]

"So..." I start.

"I'm staying then," said Vormen, "just in case,"

"So then you're coming with us?" I ask Zali.

"I am," he smiles, "problem?"

"No, not at all,"

"I guess I'll come, too," said Zelos, "someone's gotta keep these people in line, after all."

"Excuse me?" Zali raised an eyebrow.

"Haku?"

"Yes, I'm coming, too," the river dragon replied, "I don't like what this Archion guy or any other foe now is doing anymore than you do."

"You think I'm going to stay behind," Vincet said, "you have another thing coming."

"I figured you would be coming with us anyway,"

"Anyone else?" Zali questioned.

"No thank you," said Sparky, "I'd slow you guys down if I were to come with ya'll. I don't have a problem staying here and keeping an eye on things. I mean, at least it's safer this way."

I saw right through him, however, "Yeah right,"

"I DO want to see you again after all this is over, so you'd better come back, Eric!"

"I'll come back," I attempt to reassure him, "I promise,"

"You'd better, all of ya'll better!" said Sparky to the rest of the group, "And keep an eye on Zali, would ya? He may be a bit hard headed, but he's the only leader we got now."

"I'll be fine, Sparky," Zali reassured.

"I'll stay here then," I said as I soon saw a giant bird fly by and said, "Whoops, I think she overheard..."



"And you thought I was bad when it comes to running ahead, huh?" Ganondorf joked.

"Hush"

"Say what?" Brian looked where Ganondorf2 was looking.

I smile at that.
