I was keeping an eye on Nova, seeing him distraught as well he's trying to keep his fear in check.

"Restoring my village after a dragon destroyed it?" replied the thief, "I don't believe that for even a moment, especially since I found out WHO it was that destroyed it in the first place! No amount of wishes would make up for it, nor would it make up for what would happen if you had captured Haku for your personal gain. I was wise to your plan, Archion, but I didn't want the others to be involved."

"Then again, a twig of a dragon and a low class traitor siding with a low class royal BRAT makes more sense than I realize." Archion scoffed, "So I was wise to your betrayal."

"What I lack in physical strength, I make up for with powerful magic," Haku countered.

"Ah, and did it really help the outcome of the battle the first time with The Great Dragon?"

"Back to the point," Brandon tries to change the subject, "we heard you and your men have been killing the dragons that have made refuge in these lands. Now state your reasoning!"

Archion smirked, "I would offer a quick battle and reward you with the answer, but after what I've seen with your fight with my uncle-in-law here, you have no chance against me." He starts to walk around, "All in all, I just wanted to see what we will be dealing with, and from the looks of it," he looks at the groups again, "it seems like we'll just be wasting our time."

"Excuse me?" questioned Zali.

Ganondorf was offended by that and was about to say something when he spotted giant wings and said, pointing out into the distance as Maxwell had woken up, "You kill us, and you'll have to deal with him."

"And our 'clan'," I said, "One I know you'll lose to, and then some."

"Actually, I think it is best to let them know that they should DODGE!"

Sure enough, Maxwell was charging up a blast and sent a wall of orange phazon mist. This made Nova but a shield around everyone and see what will happen.

Archion and Zagan turn and spotted the demon dragon, making the vamparic dragon sigh with frustration. "And here I thought we'd be able to introduce ourselves without inturruptions from low class dragons."

"Don't let HIM hear you say that," I warned.

"Zagan, rally the troops and prepare to head out. We're finished here, for now."

"Yes sire!" Zagan took off into the air, pointing his staff in the air as a purple light shown from it, making portals appear which the men rushed through, disappearing into them.

"This time, I will let you go," Archion said to Brandon and the others, "but the next time we meet, your blood will be spilled by our clan and your country will be in flames!"


{My night to cook dinner, so I'm jumping off for a moment.}

He did hear this and screamed, "You dare insult Maxwell Deathwing?! I will track your clan down and wipe them off the face of the Earth!!"

He takes off, now in a rage.

"Deathwing? Oh no..." Ganondorf said, "My son told me about that clan. Archion will eat his words...and that explains everything months ago."

Archion hears Maxwell's scream, but wasn't impressed. He turns and enters the portal, but not before summoning a beast to the field to deal with the demon dragon.

"Punish that imbecile," he commands, then enters the portal and closing it off.

The beast lets out a roar and charges at Maxwell with full speed.

"You better come with me," Ganondorf said, to the group, "There will be no ground left to stand on."

Seeing the beast, he shouts, "Is that all?!"

He charges at the beast, intent to tare it to pieces.

We heeded Ganondorf's words and rushed over to him. The beast charges and leaps at Maxwell, intending to pierce it's tusks into his chest.

Ganondorf snapped his fingers and we all vanish to his castle.

Because he was armored, Maxwell was not affected and instead threatened to grab it to snap it in two.

Because of the beast's strong instinct to kill anything it comes into contact, it was barely bothered when it was grabbed, instead tries to skewer Maxwell with no avail.

"Oh, I'm going to enjoy this. I was getting hungry," he said, now with glee, and opens his mouth wide, targeting the head.

[Shadow Dragon]

"What's he doing?" asks Kyle, he and the rest of the gang staying away from the fight.

[ganondorf2]

"Something I can't do," Ganondorf said, "Or rather stomach it."

"He's going to eat that thing alive?!" I asked.

"Sadly, yes. Big mistake on the enemy's part."

[The Melee Master]

"Odd way to beat an opponent," said Melee, arms crossed, "but let's see where this goes."

[Shadow Dragon]

The beast continues trying to struggle it's way out of the demon dragon's grip, but again, no avail. As a last minute attempt of escape, the creature shot out a blast of fire at Maxwell, aiming for both his eyes and mouth.

"Fool...I live in lava!" he said, blowing the flame back.

He bites down hard on the head, his lower jaw clamping down, before making a motion to rip it off.

[Shadow Dragon]

The beast tries to pull itself free, which was a mistake as it pulled in the opposite direction from where Maxwell motioned, causing it's head to separate from it's body; it's body fell to the ground, legs and tail thrashed wildly from muscle contractions before finally falling limp; blood pooling from the tear.

He crushes the head in a few bites, before grabbing the body and starts to eat it as well.

"Great, all Archion did was give him a strength boost," I said.

[Shadow Dragon]

"Yeah, great," Zali rolled his eyes.

[ganondorf2]

After finishing, he takes the tip of the beast's tail and used it as a toothpick saying, before flicking it away, "Not the worst thing I had in years..."

That's when he placed all four feet on the ground before he gained a massive energy surge and roared hard into the air as his muscles got bigger as well his overall size a little bit.

"Now then...if he's going to send beasts like that at me, it's most disappointing."

"That explains why he's much bigger than the last time," I said.

[Shadow Dragon]

"Perfect," I sigh, not taking my eyes off Maxwell.

"Yeah, that's three enemies to worry about now," said Tristan, "and Maxwell ain't even on anyone's side, is he?"

"I don't believe so," said Brandon, "he'll probably stand in Archion's way, which will give us some time to come up with a plan to drive him away."

"After that remark, Archion and his troops won't last," I said.

"And after hearing he's a Deathwing, surprised me," Ganondorf said, "No wonder he changes his game to counter me every time I fight him. Good thing I do too."

[Shadow Dragon]

"So what do we do?" I question Ganondorf.

Meanwhile back at a castle.

"I thought you said his knightly followers have all thinned out," spoke a woman.



"As did I, but it seems he still has bodyguards fighting his battles for him," Archion hissed, leaning against the brick wall, "then we were rudely interrupted by this 'Maxwell' beast," he recalls Nova's words, "seems Maxwell doesn't like to share his rivals. Just who is he?"

"I still say you're wasting your time," said Zagan.

"I agree," spoke the woman.

"Amalyth," said Archion, "dearest wife; who are you to question me?"

"As much as I'd love to see the kingdom go down in flames, it's a little too late for that." said Amalyth, "The king's been dead for 600 years!"

"Yet his son still lives and is current ruler," said Archion, "yet it seems our army, and his posse, are equally matched."

"It matters not the size of the army as the size of the heart, brains, and bravery of the one who leads the charge," said Zagan, "I've told you this before, Archion. Don't let your blood lust for vengeance cloud your judgement, or you will surely fall before you can even begin."

"There's no need to worry about that. As I said, he is but one dragon, and his knightly followers are thinning out. Destroying him and his kingdom will be a breeze, with the right kind of help, but don't underestimate him regardless."

"And what of this demonic dragon that interfered? How do you plan to deal with a beast like that? That thing is basically a one man army tank!"

"Did you not notice that they have the river spirit on their side?" Archion answered Zagan, "Remember those scriptures that tell this 'so called legend'?" Archion smirked, "I know a certain dragon who would love to have a rematch with that weakling, AND that demon dragon."

"You're not thinking what I think you're thinking..." Amalyth spoke.

"Surely, that dragon is equal in power to this Maxwell dragon," Archion smirked, "we'll locate and bribe the great dragon of legend to work for us!"

"Archion, far be it for me to have doubts of your plans," Zagan sighed, "but are you sure this will work?"

"They have Vincet gunning for them as well," he reminded Zagan, "and we know what we do to traitors of our clan."

"Hm, so THAT'S what happened to him,"

"Now then, we set off to locate the most powerful dragons to serve us. Bring back anyone you can." Archion smirked, "And I'll look for the legendary dragon myself."

Maxwell looks at the castle we were on and said, "I'll deal with you later...unless you wish to help me with those poor excuses of dragons."

"That's a surprise from you," Ganondorf said, "Sadly, we'll have to pass for now. We need a plan first."

"Do what you will," he said, "That wasn't my last meal from them anyway. They are just asking for me to pick them off."

"I'll call you until then," Nova said.

"Good enough," he said, before taking off, saying, "At least you don't call me a low-class dragon."

"Yeah, I know better as well you are not that," he thought.

"Yeah, they'll surely be back," sighed Ed.

"Who would think calling him 'low class' was his berserk button," Vormen sighed.

"I can imagine it," shrugged Zelos, "wouldn't want anyone calling me 'low class' either."

"Vincent, he called you?" questioned Brandon to the thief, "seems I underestimated you."

"You mean it wasn't enough that I thoroughly explained my side of the story?" Vincet questioned, "That I betrayed Archion and his clan? I told you, I just want revenge against him."

"All right, all right," Zelos shook his head, "I'm sorry, too, for not believing you when you said it the first time."

"I don't think your castle is safe anymore, sadly," Ganondorf said, "I have taken you to one of ours."

"Dad?" a voice was heard and a young man walked over hearing voices.

"Gangrel, hows the studies?" Ganondorf asked.

"Slow. I've been doing as you asked. I thought that clan was wiped out," he said.

[Shadow Dragon]

"Wait," said Zali, "you know about the clan, too?"

"I'm sorry, we've never met, have we?" Tristan told the young man.

"Oh I'm sorry," he said, "My name is Gangrel and yes, there were books in the study on them."

"This is my son," Ganondorf said, "Speaking of...I know you warned me, but...what do you know of the clan Deathwing?"

"...What brought this up?" he asked in regret.

[Shadow Dragon]

"Nope," sighed Tristan, "the Ironheart clan is still around, apparently."

"And now we have Maxwell and this 'Deathwing clan' to worry about," I sighed.

"Oh no...Now I wonder if he's any relation to Neltharion?" he asked himself.

"Explain please?" I asked.

"Besides being called Aspect of Death, The Worldbreaker, and The Black Scourge he was part of the Twilight Dragon Flight. He was a Black Dragon until he went mad and changed into a demon dragon...Maxwell must have been his son...but that's impossible! Neltharion is from a different world altogether!"

"If that's the case, Maxwell found a way to get over here and stay as a home..." Ganondorf groaned.
