"That was almost enough!" Neji said about the claw striking Star Dream.

"Almost...!" Geralt quipped, hoping that they were getting closer.

More symbols form and start to flash at points and I said, "Let's do this! All at once!"

One at a time we fire at the machine to the point it had to stop and charge up an attack.

At this point, everyone gave it all they had and attacked Star Dream with no time to catch their breaths.

[Shadow Dragon]

All nine men attacked without slowing down themselves.

The beam was fired anyway and was about to hit everyone dead on when the fusion stops it and sent it elsewhere and snapped his fingers turning things back to normal but placed barriers on all of us and said, "You all have done well. It's time. Final attack: Fatal Illusion."

"What?" I asked, "I don't like the sound of that."

He makes a ball of darkness and turns to the sun's direction and threw the ball at it said, "First phase...Dark Sun."

The sun quickly turned black and started to grow in size and quickly making me freak out as it looked like it was eating up the planets and asked, "What are you doing?!"

"Wait, we have a barrier around all of us and so does the other ships and the planets," Gangrel said.

"But not on Star Dream," Kira said.

[The Melee Master]

"So we're safe?" questioned Pit as he looked around.

"Very safe," I said, "I can tell."

Seeing this wasn't good it starts to fly off and away in fear having the fusion say, "Second stage...Hands of Judgement." That's when Galeem and Dharkon appear in front of Star Dream making the machine say, "You're with them? I programed you better then that!"

"Did I hear right?" Dante asked.

"I sure did," I said.

[The Melee Master]

"Wha?!!" Pit was shocked, "Are you kidding me?!"

"Well, this just got interesting," Astor admitted, as even he had no idea.

"You're telling me," agreed Sparks.

The four Arwings flew around a bit, but it was obvious by their flight pattern that they overheard, too.

"Program...what?" Luke asked as he watches this.

The black sun soon changed, the flames now looking like many human arms and started to reach out at the machine. It kept flying around to dodge them all only to for Galeem to stab into the machine with it's wings and Dharkon changed into it's hammer form and smashed it into a giant armored hand, that looked like Nova's, and started to get pulled in, but not before forcing Star Dream to face us as each part was removed but not taken completely as the fusion said, "Your fate is sealed. Now to revive one man to be judged before everyone."

"No...You idiot! Don't bring him back!" Chara shouted knowing who.

"Do not fear, as his fate will be foretold to you and many others."

"Oh boy...!" Xord quivered.

Samantha bares her teeth at this.

In a snap of his fingers, Rugal appears in barrier for air and looked around in shock, before getting grabbed by the hands as well and asked, "What?! Rookie?! What is the meaning of this?!"

"Welcome back, Rugal Bernstein. You should know better then to team up with Star Dream as you are going to have the same result as the very machine."

"Why are you talking like...wait, rookie and that copy...no...it can't be..."

"You saw this happening in your dreams, but dismissed it as a lie. Time to wake up into the nightmare you created and that is the end of your story. A new one will be restarted as your memories will be wiped clean as does Star Dream's."

"You can't do this to me!"

"I believe your daughter said this, 'Since when were you the one in control?'. It seems you never were in it in the first place, once Nova placed almost everything in you."

Chara laughs to this, "He's right too. This is too funny!"

"Ouch," Dante said.

Although Luke wondered what the hell was going on, he and the other men continued to watch this play out. Raiden smirked after hearing this.

"Why you!" Rugal shouts as he lashed out only to have his arm grabbed and get ripped off, but no blood was seen. As a matter of fact, it almost looked like he was made up of clay, not flesh.

"May you suffer your choices as they will be cleansed. Good bye."

He was 'torn' to pieces before being dragged into the dark sun, screaming, before the fusion turned to Star Dream and said, "You were meant to act in peace, but because of outside forces, you thought you could rule over everything by making Galeem and Dharkon to take over planets to 'soften them up'. I see you underestimate people's strong will. I know someone is still in there even though we was 'erased'."

"What?!" Susie asked in surprise making the fusion turn, "He's still alive?! My father?! Please tell me!"

"Give me a moment to recover all data."

[The Melee Master]

"Buh-bye now!!" mocked D!ckson.

Astor lets out a laugh and said, "This is what happens to those who think they can control a power higher than their own! Unlike myself, I doubt you'll be given another chance!"

Everyone watches Rugal being dragged into the dark sun, some exhaling sighs of relief, thinking it was finally over, at least with him. Upon hearing the possibility that Max was still alive, they were stunned.

"Wait, seriously?!" questioned Raiden.

"That's good, right?" Luke asked.

"Of course it is, but-" Trunks blinked, just as puzzled as everyone else.

He aims his hand out to the machine and forced Star Dream to open it's mouth before a soft light was sent out into a spot, Haltmann appearing out the air.

"Father!"

"Go on. Don't let him out of your sight."

"I won't," she said and flew over on her ship and takes him away and lied him down on the gun ship

"As for you," he said turning to Star Dream, "You will have a hard reset and reboot your hard drive to the point to will not remember any of your purposes except to help others that need aide, as you are made to do."

"That's for the best," agreed Roy as he watches.

The giant hand takes the machine into the dark sun, before it shrinks and turns everything back to normal. The fusion turns to us at that point and slowly lands on the gunship and said, "I have to apologize of what happened as of late."

"Why?" I asked, "You helped us out."

"For a while, I didn't...I wished that those two didn't meet so early," he said, "They were the ones that caused the revivals, but didn't realize it."

"What?" Karson asked, "How?"

"They got in contact with each other too soon as I stated. Nova is able to revive and heal up wounds that caused the death while Neutron can do the same, however cannot heal them but give them strength to cover losses. Fate of both came into play as well, but then again, for all I know Neutron must have had a feeling to get you all here. Good thing he did."

"What you're saying their power is unstable?"

"Nova said this many times, yes? However, thanks to my attack, both energies should stabilize in a bit. The endless energy will still be a factor, but not as deadly. However, currently, they have to recover, no thanks to Fatal Illusion."

He started to fade and said, "I'm going to send them to a planet that I know they will have peace and regain their strength. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to know you all. Farewell."

That's when he vanished and two orbs of light were seen in his place for a moment before vanishing as well.

Gangrel start to study this form he saw.

The men listened in, but said nothing as they watch the being disappear.

"Here it is" Gangrel said, "What we met was a being called, Ultima. Said to only show when all worlds are in chaos and takes many forms. His might is beyond thought, but rarely seen."

"But why the those two?" I asked.

"They had a purpose without knowing I guess, but lets keep it that way."

"Now we have to find them...again..." Peac0ck moaned.

"And a planet that has peace? That's a laugh," Zaki laughed.

"I know one!" Chase said, "My home!"

Birds were heard overhead before Nova wakes up slowly and sat up, placing his left hand to his head and asked, "What happened to me?"

"Besides becoming a dead weight...?" Neutron's voice was heard to his ears, making him look around before looking down to see the dark clone, chest first on the ground and was resting his head on his hand, tapping the ground with his fingers as if bored. Nova realized he was laying on him, saying 'oops' and quickly got up.

"OK, I don't remember being here," he added.

"Neither do I, but here we are," he said, getting up himself and cleaning himself off, "Least it's quiet." He tries to call someone on his cell, only to read no signal, "Not good."

"Same with me," Nova said, his own phone out before putting it away, "Looks like we are going to be stuck here for a bit. Nice place so far."

"Well, that was easy," smiled Jordan after hearing Chase from his headset.

[Shadow Dragon]

{Good night! See you both after work tomorrow.}

"What kind of planet do you live on?" asked Raiden to Chase.

"Not really. I have no idea where that is," I said to that.

Sans looks at the back of his left hand and thinks then noticed Calamity was smelling the air and said, "it's a long shot, but..."

"I live in peace with my animal friends," he said then looks at James, "Like him!"

Both men started to walk around the forest before Nova found an apple tree, which got his attention and asked, "Apples? Here?"

"Sounds to me this place is like my planet. I take yours as well?"

"Of course," he said, slightly annoyed because, obviously if he's around they got something, and walked over to it, "Time for a taste test."

"Go ahead. I can't eat fruit anyway."

"So that's what you meant. I can't eat meat and you can," he said stopping himself.

"Correct."

"Looks we both got the bad end, huh?" Nova said to this and reached to grab the fruit when he heard a scream and saw a humanoid figure nearby before it took off, "You saw that right?"



"That I did," he said, "I know we look scary, but really?"

"Wait...That was part animal of some sort. That means we might closer to home then we think."

"What makes you think that?"

"Chase told me of his home world. Where animal like humans and normal ones live together in peace. I think we are at that world."

"Interesting. That explains some things but some I'm not getting still. One, I never heard of such a world and two...we are here for a reason."

"There's a third on my mind," Nova said, "Did we fail?"

"We are alive, that's a clue...somehow."

"You don't remember either?"

"Not at all."

"This is a problem."

{Night}

"So much for easy..." Dark Pit sighed.

"So how are we going to get there?" asked Sara.

"We have to take him home anyway," Karson said.

"i think they aren't far..." Sans said, as Calamity looks around.

"All right, all right! I'll go check it out!" a voice said making both men snap out of it.

"Great..." Neutron said.

"Don't be up in arms yet. We did pop in unannounced," Nova said

The ground ups up a little as a mole like creature came out of it and said, "Alright, what's going on here?!"



"Um..." Nova starts.

"Ganondorf?! You here to cause trouble again? Remember last time you-" the mole before he spots Neutron, "I didn't think you had a brother."

Neutron slaps his forehead to that to which Nova said, "We aren't related, sorry."

"Oh, one of those someone looks like another? I know your pain. People always confused me with my brother-wait! Why are you talking like that? Did my last hit make you think this time?"

"Another thing...I'm not that guy either," Nova said.

"That explains the scar. What are you doing here?"

"That's just it. We woke up here and have no idea how we got here."

"Also explains the racket I heard too. You hurt?"

"So far so good. We are lost however."

"Well I better get you out of here then," the mole said getting out the hole he made and said, "Name's Resetti."

"I heard about you! Hard job?"

"Yes. I've been thinking of retiring this old job and taking a different one. My old heart can't take it anymore."

"That's a shame."

"Not a big deal. Come on," he said walking ahead as both men followed behind him, "But don't cause any trouble you hear?!"

"We won't," both clones said.

"Well then, whoever knows where we're going, lead the way," said Magnus.

"Come again?" Sam placed his hand over his ear.

"Sargent?" Sparks looked at him.

Sam looked at him, "James and the others have the location pin-pointed on their maps."

"They overheard us?! How?" asked Pit.

"I must've left my communicator on," Pepper said, looking at his left cuff-link of his glove.

"Then tell them to go on ahead and we'll meet them there," Roy told him.

My twin tries to pinpoint as well and said, "Glad you can. I got nothing from Neutron."

"That means I can't get to him on my phone either," I said.

Both men reached a small town, Nova looking around with curiosity and Resetii spoke, "Someone looks interested."

"This place is amazing!" he said in excitement

"It is nice, I will admit," Neutron said, more calmly.

"You two are two different sides of a bell coin," the mole said.

"Bell?"

"Wow, you really are not from here," he said in surprise, "I have a friend that can show you around on that and then some. Goes by the name Tom Nook. Something tells me you're going to be here a while so he will help with getting a place to stay for a bit."

"I think we can deal with that," Nova said.

"I'll be back. Stay right here and don't cause any trouble here either."

"We won't budge," Neutron said as he walked off.

"We stick out like a sore thumb too," Nova said, "I wonder how Chase handles this."

"Sounds normal in his case. Lets just relax a bit until the others find us."

The good clone nods before sitting down on a stump and looking around at all the animal neighbors walking around talking amongst each other as Neutron stood by. Nova spotted the one that they scared, but stayed put to not make it worse and decided to talk about the event they did and said, "It would help if we could remember what happened to us. I'm drawing a blank...just the glow we both got."

"I think we fused, but something about it made us have our memories get wiped after it was said and done."

"That might be from me then," the good clone sighed.

"Why do you say that?"

"In the past, when I went into Phazon Overload, I lose my memory for a brief moment of what happened during that time. I must of went into it without me knowing."

"That's a thought. I used to have that problem too."

"Really? I never saw you go there, except that virus that I saved you from. You had a phazon problem too?"

"Your slowly creeped up on you right? Mine was forced."

"Forced? You mean they injected you with the stuff?"

"Almost daily. Last of it, I almost broke the doctor's arm for trying at the 1000th time...well felt like it that amount anyway."

"Yeesh."

"Those two gentlemen over there?" a voice was heard, "A little challenge but it will be done."

"Thanks Tom," Resetii said, "Now if you don't mind, I better get back at my job."

"Of course, and a fine one at that."

A small raccoon like human walked over and said, "I hope you didn't have to wait long. I was working with a client when Resetti came over for a chat."



"You're good. We were talking while watching the town," Nova said.

"I was told you are lost. Where are you from?"

"Uh, that might get..."

"Complicated," Neutron said, "We are worlds apart let's just say."

"That's easy to understand. We've been getting lots of people from different worlds and ways of life."

This started to annoy Nova. Why wasn't he told this by Aeon?

"First things first however, do you have phones?"

"Yes we do, but they don't work out here," Neutron said.

"Is that so? Good thing I'm good with gadgets. I have the chip to make them work."

A few minutes in I hear my phone.

[The Melee Master]

"Uh, your whatever is going off," Magnus said to Ganondorf2.

"You mean a 'phone'?" asked Snake.

[ganondorf2]

I grab it and said, "Hello?"

"G2? You there?" Nova's voice was heard on the other side.

"Big guy! Where are you?" I said in surprise.

"Keep it down," he laughed on the other side, "I think Chase can answer that."

"I knew it!" the young boy said.

"Are you hurt?" I asked.

"Honestly, I'm not. Heck...I don't remember how I got here. Neutron is with me as well, and doesn't remember much either."

Covering the mic on the phone, I asked, "Should we tell them?"
