The guardian, despite missing two legs, get's back together and locks onto Neutron now.

"Luke!!" shouted Jade as a targeting beam from a malice guardian was on the person's chest. Though he was surprised to see his old acquaintance after so long, now was hardly the time for a reunion, "Luke, focus!"

The guardian fires the beam at the person, and the other guardian fires at Neutron.

{Looks=long haired/post game. Personality=a mix of both post and after character development. I haven't picked up the game in a while, so forgive my possible awkwardness with him. And try the link then. I forgot Wiki sites are temperamental with their image links.}

"Huh?" the person turned to the sound of the voice, and was stunned to see who it was, "Jade?!! What are you-" he then sees the red light on his chest, "Oh no!"

That's when Raiden rushes in to try and strike the guardian, but the blast sent by it struck the ground Luke was standing on, making him fly back and roll across the ground. Hissing, he stood up with the help of his blade, "Just what the hell are those things anyway?!"

"Guardians, is what they're called," panted Lucina after managing to dodge a blast, "they suddenly appeared out of nowhere!"

"As much as I'd love to have a reunion, Luke-" Jade was joking of course, "it will have to wait!"

A malice guardian fires a beam at Pit, striking his wing and making him cry out in pain and falling to the ground. Stunned, he was unable to move as the guardian approaches him, setting it's sight on the angel with a targeting beam.

Nova makes a whistle and punched the guardian with all his might to try and help Pit as did Neutron with his foe. The dark clone starts to call in something.

"You said ancient weapons work better at these things, right?" I asked.

"Yes. Something about them...I don't know why," Gangrel said.

Kira made Sheer Heart Attack appear before sending it at one Guardian, giving Nova an idea.

"Yeah, sure!" Luke replied to Jade before rushing in and attempts to hack and slash at the guardian with his blade. Raiden goes in to join him on the assault.

Finishing Neutron looks up and said, "Time to bring the cavalry."

One of Thiima, the whale, flew down and head our way, targeting all the Guardians.

[The Melee Master]

The guardian that was struck with the Sheer Heart Attack exploded in a ball of flame, and another machine was struck down by Luke's and Raiden's weapons. Another malice guardian fired a beam at James's group, striking the ground near them and causing everyone in said group to scatter as they flew back, hitting the ground upon impact.

After coming to a stop, Shulk stabbed the replica Monodo into the ground and struggled to stand, "Those things...are even more powerful...than faced mechon!"

Egil strikes a Guardian away with the tail of his mechon, "It seems the ones covered in Malice are of the stronger variety!"

Samantha tried to stand, but had injured her right knee due to hitting the ground so hard. The guardian approaches her and aims it's targeting beam on her. The beeping became faster, and Samantha's view was obstructed by a flash of light...

...but nothing happened.

A missile had been shot, striking the guardian and causing it to topple as it lost two of it's legs. Thinking the shot came from Snake, Samantha turned to him, before seeing a figure leap into the fray, landing in front of her, back turned to her as well.

"Nice timing," I said as Nova changed back to normal.

The small Guardian looks the new person in curiosity.

Neji and his group were about to rush in and attack the guardian before seeing it be taken care of by a person they never met before.

"Wait, who's that?" Luke questioned.

[The Melee Master]

"Wha-?" Lucina breathed out, recognizing the armor, "where did you come from?!"

The guardian shoots off a beam, striking the ground near the two once again. They both sat up, seeing the guardian's beam on the armored one's chest. Before Samantha was able to call out to the person, a shout was heard from under the helmet, "Now!"

Another figure, a wolf of flame, rushes in at another guardian, biting down and tearing a leg off of it, and throwing it back at the guardian, striking it in the eye and stunning it long enough for everyone to attack it, if chosen to. Three more guardians take off after the wolf after it rushes away, in an attempt to lure the three machines away from everyone, ashy pawprints burning the ground in it's wake.

"After those Guardians, but don't shoot the wolf," Neutron said and it flies after them.

"Roy?" I thought to myself, "Wait, when did they get here?"

[Shadow Dragon]

"The hell's going on now?!" Armstrong questioned upon seeing what he assumed were reinforcements.

"Nevermind them!" hissed the clone, "focus on these morons-" he motions to the guardians, "-unless you want to get blasted!"

Geralt rushes in to try and stab a guardian in the eye.

"Calamity!" Nova shouts and the next thing Kira shouts, "Killer Queen!"

Both beings appear to everyone and got ready.

The guardian takes the hit from Geralt and self destructs. Papyrus and Gaster summon dragon skull blasters and had them fire at the guardians, two of them taking the hit and also self destructing. Another malice guardian approaches the group. Fur and tail raised, Roy also approaches the guardian, snarling as he did.

"Get back, Roy!" Snake told him, aiming a rocket launcher at the machine.

Killer Queen rushed in at that point and touched the Guardian before making the movement like it pressed a trigger as Kira said, "Bomb #2!"

"Get down! It's going to blow!" I shout bracing for both Snake's and Kira's attacks.

Everyone in Neji's group backed off at this point and braced themselves for what was to come.

[The Melee Master]

Snake fires the rocket at the guardian making a direct hit. The explosion from Snake's weapon doubled the destruction of Kira's bomb, causing Roy to be thrown back, tossing him across the ground. After rolling on his stomach, the pseudo wolf watches as the flames died down from the attack, and machine parts, coated in malice, were all that were left.

The armored one lowered the arm cannon, sighing, "I think that's the last of them. Is everyone all right?"

"More or less," Nova said, "Nice of you guys to come. We need it more than ever."

[Shadow Dragon]

"What a mess," sighed Luke, "at least we made it in time."

"Yeah, thanks, but who are you?" asked Raiden.

[The Melee Master]

"Yeah. It's been a while," sighed the armored one, "you all look well. Those machines were really after Roy and myself." then to Luke, "I don't know about him, though. Sorry you guys got caught in the middle of it all."

"Trust me, a few guardians are child's play compared to what we've been through this past while," Samantha explained, walking up to the armored one, "I'm the one who should be surprised. After all that, how are you holding up?"

"Uh-" he backs away, "could we not discuss this right now, Samantha?"

"I was really hoping you wouldn't get involved..." she sighs, "I even tried to keep my mouth shut about you around..." she shook her head as she smiled, "but at the same time, I'm glad your here, Samuel."

"You two are already acquainted?" Jade said.

"It's kind of a long story," Samuel spoke.

Jade was about to approach Luke, only to hear a snarl from Roy as he notices the cloned swordsman in Neji's group, as well as recognizing Dark Nova. The wolf's tail raised; flames burning from it's body in anger as the scent of burning wood and charcoal were evident. The wolf slowly approaches them, still snarling.

"Uh, Roy, what's wrong?" Pit asked him.

Neutron just crossed his arms and said, "If you want to make the first move, I hope you're quicker than the eye."

"No, Roy...I know this hard to swallow, but he's with us," I said.

"Hard to believe, but it's true," Dante said.

[Shadow Dragon]

"Get your pet away from us before I extinguish it and turn it into a wolf skin rug!" threatened the swordsman, gripping the hilt of his sword in preparation to defend himself.

"Something's telling me it's not a real wolf," Geralt stated, "different scent of blood. He's human, although the way the fire coats him without getting burned is questionable."

"Well, this turned interesting fast," Armstrong said.

Luke didn't say anything, but was also ready to strike the wolf if needed.

"That's because he's a human," Neutron said, "Don't move, I got this."

"You will not!" Nova said, then to the wolf, "Stand down. He's a lot stronger than you think. We have bigger problems right now."

[The Melee Master]

"I do believe an explanation is in order," Jade said to the newcomers, "although I doubt this is the place to do it."

"That threat of yours doesn't help matters, boy," D!ckson spoke to the clone as he watches the wolf inch closer to the swordsman, before stopping. He lets out a snort at him.

"That's enough!" the armored one shouted, making Roy turn to him, "Why we're here...Roy and I ran into each other not long before running into you guys. To be honest...I was busy escaping from those sludge covered machines that interrupted my patrol duty...then I saw-"

"Patrol duty?" Bayonetta questioned, before seeing him pull out a police badge to prove it.

Roy sits down on his hunches and allows the guy to explain first.

"Patrol duty and investigation of recent on-goings," he explained, "that is, until I caught eye of a familiar being of light in the distance, so I knew from there, HE'S involved again...isn't he?"

"You mean Galeem?" Snake asked.

"Yes...and it fused with Dharkon," I said, "Dhargleem it is called now."

"And they try tried to control me," Nova said, "They learned the hard way there."

"i don't think they will mess with you again."

"Or try," Peac0ck said, laughing

Jade turns to Luke, "Now, mind telling me why your here?"

The person puts away the badge and presses a button on a device on his hip. The armor disappeared in a blue light, revealing a young man with longish blond hair, tips barely touching his shoulders, and brown eyes.

"Hey, I've seen you before," Magnus spoke, "during the tournaments, right?"

"Uh, yeah, kind of," he replied, "nice to see you too, Magnus."

Roy was next to change to his true form. The fire faded as he stood up, exposing a swordsman with back length wavy brownish red hair, but the outfit he wore was from the recent tournaments this time around.

"I'm sorry to meet you again in such a way," Roy explained to everyone, "I'm not too quick on my feet, but I'm more agile if I take the shape of the wolf."

"No apologies needed," James said.

"Wait...Fox?" Roy then took a closer look, and a shocked expression was seen, "No...you're...!"

"Yeah, I think they all deserve an explanation of everything to this point," Miyu told the group, "of course, while withholding certain info. What do you say?"

"As I said, not here," Jade said.

"Very much agreed," General Pepper nods to Jade's words.

"Yeah best you keep it down," Ralph said, "I see another solider at least."

Karson walked over and Leo spots him saying, "Hello old friend."

"Karson?! How?" Leo asked.

"I can't explain on this."

[The Melee Master]

"Anyway, to those who don't know me, my name's Roy," he explained.

"And my name's Samuel," the blonde replied, "but Samus is fine, too."

"Samus?" questioned Sparks, "Hey, hold on a minute." he turns to Samantha, "Isn't that your name, Ms?"

"Isn't it obvious?" Jade said, "I've heard that you had a suit you wear during a tournament, right?"

"Yes, but not this tournament, or the last time," Samantha explained, "Samuel is-"

"So you left your armor at home?" Jade then turned to Samus, "Or did you lend it to your boyfriend?"

"I didn't lend it to-" Samantha then sharply turned to Jade, "what did you just say?!"

"Boyfriend?!" Samus hissed.

Mumkhar busted out laughing, "I'm just a boss Smasher at Gaur Plain, and even I know that's not right!"

He gently folded his arms, "My dad whom I was named after, and her late mother, were siblings, so you put the puzzle together."

"Oh, I'm sorry, but Samantha never told us she had living blood relatives," Jade said.

"Trust me, had I known he'd be involved after all this..." she turned away, "it wasn't important at the time anyway, but I was really hoping he wouldn't be involved."

"Much too late for that, missy," D!ckson said.

"Wait, something happened before this mess?" Samus questioned her.

Neutron laughs as I said, still annoyed "Take a guess."

"Better than being blasted," he said.

Samus turned to Neutron, "Does it involve him?"

"I'd hate to know what it was, really," Roy said, "but I'm assuming it can't be anything good-" he turns to the swordsman clone, "considering that he's here? So you did go through with cloning Zephon!"

"And Ganondorf2 as well," Dark Pit said.

Roy turns to Neutron at that, "All right, first you threaten us, then you disrespect the dead by desecrating his body to create...whoever the hell that is-" he turns to the clone, then back to Neutron, clearly still upset by the whole event from last month, "what's your game here?!"

"You were there back then?" James asked him, but Roy didn't answer the fox as he then turned to Tikal, "Do you have anything to say about this?"
