The bullets glow and change into rockets in the air hitting the being, head-on. It was about to attack again but disappeared instead. Karson noticed something off this time.

"Yes!!" shouted Pit.

"Ugh, finally!" Magnus panted, setting his weapon down for a moment.

"Glad that's finally over with," Kyle also panted heavily.

Snake slightly turned his head back, "Don't be so sure... Something doesn't feel right."

Raiden gripped the hilt of his blade, "You sensing it too, Snake?"

"Sensing what?" Neji questioned.

"I'm with you," I said, "I thought I heard a voice."

"You heard it too?" Nova said.

"As did I," Karson said.

"Yeah, I definitely heard something," Snake confirmed to Raiden.

James's ear twitched, but he couldn't get anything, and neither could the others, until Sparks Husky looked around, "It's faint, but I can hear it, too."

Geralt looked around to this as he heard it, too, "Wonder what it is."

Neutron heard it too, but was quickly confused about it and said, "No...it can't be him."

"Who?" I asked.

"I thought I heard the real Rugal's voice, but he was blasted."

"Don't jump to things yet. My twin is still with it.

"I know that, it's just odd."

"I still can't hear anything," Pit sighed.

"That's for people that have good hearing," I said.

"Good work, Cerberus," Nova said to the beast.

He barked to that before he starts to glow, shrink down quickly and change into a bull mastiff before he pants happily with a single head now.

"What was that all about?" Snake asked at what he and the others heard.

"If that really was Rugal, then..." Sparks said.

"How can he still be alive?" asked D!ckson.

"Most of us were blasted by those two beings and we're still here," Lucina said.

"It might be different in this world, though," assumed Kyle, "but don't take my word for it."

"Um, maybe it's because we were rescued by those who broke free from their grip," Dark Pit reminded them.

"I wish you didn't do that, you crazy dog," the good clone said, making my team laugh.

"Well, that's true..." Dark Pit sighed, before being surprised by the sound.

Cerberus walks off, giving Nova a chance to get up now before watching the very canine walk over to Sans and sniffs his bony hand, a little unsure.

"i could ride him in this form, even though he shrank," he said about the size.

"You're baby bones, of course," the good clone said.

"Even though he's older," chuckled Raiden.

Tikal smiled as he held out his hand to Cerberus to pat him on the head.

"i don't know what happened to my bones, but no surprise i came up short," he said, joking.

"Sans! Well, at least you don't mind joking about it," I said as he laughed.

Cerberus pants to the pets as well wags his tail.

"How did you come across him?" Karson asked.

"Long story," Nova said.

Pit laughed at Sans's joke.

"Even I know that pun was bad..." Dark Pit was not amused.

Papyrus purposely ignored the puns, however, "AND THIS IS WHY I KEEP PUSHING YOU TO TRAIN AND BETTER YOURSELF, BROTHER!"

"I WILL ADMIT ONE THING, SANS, I'M NOT USE TO SEEING YOU, WELL...NOT BE YOU." he paused for a moment before blurting out with a big goofy smile, "I LIKE IT!"

"NO!" he quickly corrected Dark Pit, "I MEAN...SAD, AND TIRED, AND UNMOTIVATED, AND-" he then cringed, "UH, I GUESS LAZY DOES FIT THAT DESCRIPTION, DOESN'T IT?"

"We already had this talk, Papyrus," Gaster reminded him.

"I KNOW... HEH, NOVA MUST REALLY HAVE A POSITIVE INFLUENCE ON YOU, BROTHER, AND I DO FEEL BETTER KNOWING YOU'RE UNDER HIS PROTECTION WHEN DAD AND I CAN'T BE THERE."

"You just reminded me of one thing," Neutron said, "Dr. Gaster, I'm so sorry for what happened. That hotheaded Dark Sans didn't listen to me. I'm glad it worked out, but at the same time I should have kept him in his cage."

"It is what it is," Gadolt said, "we just have to face it."

"No need to apologize," said Gaster to Neutron, "had I not have taken the hit, Papyrus would be the one turned to dust. Even though his body is stronger than my own, I doubt even he would survive such a terrible blow."

"I-" Papyrus then sighed, "BUT WHAT YOU DID WAS JUST AS RECKLESS!"

"I saved your life, didn't I?"

"WELL, YES BUT...DON'T EVER SCARE US LIKE THAT AGAIN, DAD!"

"True," he said, then to Papyrus, "You would have done the same. Haven't you noticed the same from Nova? He gets out there and sacrifices himself to save everyone. Yes, it scares people, but at the same time, he's trying to save others. Do you understand?"

"He's got you there," Raiden said to Papyrus.

"Just don't make a habit of it," Tikal stated, "we won't know if that person can be revived again after sacrificing him or herself, you got that?"

"I understand," Gaster said with a nod and spoke no more on the subject.

"You better," Sara told him, tapping her claw on her hip.

"You're just as important to our team as Sara is, doctor," Jordan translated Sara's sudden attitude.

"how did you get that chaos heart anyway?" Sans asked.

"Who's Aeon?" asked the clone.

"A time keeper," explained Neji, "he's the one who called us to help."

"I've heard that name somewhere before..." Geralt said, "is he the one who helped me fight that mage?"

"That makes sense if it's true," replied Trunks, before quickly looking around at the sound of a handgun.

"What was that?" Armstrong questioned.

"Sounded like a gun," Geralt replied.

"I know it was a gun, smartass, but who the hell shot it?!"
