Astor folded his arms, "Now it's that type of detail that separates you from the one I once served, albeit late."

"Sounds like you expected him to tell you earlier," Dunban said.

"We tried to tell you, back in the forest, but you wouldn't listen!" Shulk told Astor.

Those who were left said nothing.

"As did I," Nova said, shaking his head, "Think I can help you as well." then goes back to his phone and said, "OK, good. Give me a moment to get in contact with General Pepper."

Jotaro's team look around now.

[The Melee Master]

"Uh, Pepper's right here," Sam said, pointing to the general, "and so are we."

"Pit, Dark Pit, Magnus, Pyrrhon, the faced mechon, are the only ones that left, I think," said Roy.

"Actually, I'm still here," Face Nemesis called out from the open chest plates of her mechon as she began to jump down.

"Why didn't you leave with the others?" asked Egil.

Nemesis didn't answer.

"I know, but I have give the signal," he said covering the mic again, waving him over and hinting that it's game he likes to play with his other clones, before handing over the cell, "You have to talk to him and don't get confused that it sounds like Mario. It's just another clone friend we have aboard, but give he'll give everything you need should something comes up."

"Something you want to tell us?" I asked.

"Huh?" Roy questioned Nova.

"As a matter of fact...yes...and for quite a while now." Nemesis said, "I just never got the chance, and after a while, I hesitated, because...well...because-"

"If you want to convey something to them, do it now," Egil said, "after this, you might not be given another chance."

She shook her head, "With half the group gone, there would be no point in telling them anything anymore." Face Nemesis sounded disappointed.

"Hm?" Shulk looked at her, "What's up?"

Nova waves it off then hears this from her.

"Give off your chest at least," I said.

"I'm still here, so what you say, I can tell them in the future," Ultima said.

[The Melee Master]

"I know you said no more secrets in the group..." she said, "but...there is one more massive secret...that I've kept from you all until now...but only because I thought it would help you...but now I see that I was wrong!"

"SO WHAT IS IT?" Papyrus asked.

"No, no...no," she said, "it's too late now!"

"Nemesis-" Egil called out.

"Everything that I tried to do until this point...I thought I was helping...but...it wasn't helpful at all, was it?"

"Take a deep breath and relax," James tried to calm her to no avail.

"I can't!!" she places her hands onto her cracked mask, trying to dig her 'nails' into her mask, "I haven't been able to relax, or do anything I use to, since I was turned into THIS!!"

"Hey, hey," Kyle walks over to her, "I know it's been hard on you, but-"

"Get away!" she hissed.

"Young lady, if you don't stop this-" D!ckson started.

"Get away from her, or you'll get struck," Astor warned Kyle as he foresaw what was to come.

BAM!

Too late. James and what was left of his team looked on in shock as Kyle was sent to the ground. Face Nemesis had backhanded him hard in the mouth. Blood was spat up from the fitness trainer, as well as a loss of a front tooth, making the faced mechon pilot cover her cracked mask.

"I'm sorry," she spoke quickly, about to approach Kyle until Egil spoke up.

Egil had enough. He jumped out of his golden mechon and approached the silver pilot, grabbing her wrist, "Nemesis...with me, NOW!"

Nova ran over as this happened and tries to help Kyle and check for anything broken.

"You did help us!" I said to this, "Don't you remember?"

"Stop," Neutron said, "You'll just make it worse. I can sense she's very sensitive about the past. You got to stop living in it."

[The Melee Master]

"I have a feeling I know what's going on," Egil said as he walked away from the group with Nemesis, "but I need to run a test to confirm my theory."

Nemesis broke free from Egil's grip, "I don't need a test! I'm fine, Egil!"

"None of my other faced mechon acted in a way that you have just done...well, maybe except Xord... I was going to take you in and examine you for possible degeneration signs-"

"Degeneration?" Shulk questioned, "That's bad, right?"

"But now it seems I don't have to. That sudden anger of yours has concluded that your body and mental state is experiencing a functional breakdown."

"What?!" Lucina questioned.

"Your mental stress levels are abnormal, which is rare among faced mechon cores," he said, "but it can happen."

Face Nemesis was too much in shock to speak.

"Functional breakdown...?" Shulk questioned.

"What do you need?" Nova asked, "Anything to help."

[The Melee Master]

"I don't know if there's anything of your world that can help," Egil sighed.

"I...was feeling weird before," Nemesis admitted, "but...I didn't know it was a serious matter."

"Your mental state will go, and eventually, so will your life-force," Egil reminded, "I say it's more serious than you think."

"So it's like a mechon version of alzheimer's?!"

"Age and health don't matter. Your mind and body will break down due to overwhelming amount of physical and mental stress. Have you been experiencing high anxiety and stress as of recent?"

"Y-yes..."

"Those are the first signs of degeneration."

She gasps.

"And as long as I had been watching you since your conversion, you've showed subtle signs, and they've only recently gotten worse," Egil shook his head, "you really should have come to me sooner, Nemesis! How long did you believe you could hide it from me?"

"Hmm...This sounds like my field," Nova said, "As well, I think we have a Pokemon that can help too."

[The Melee Master]

"First of all, we'll need to get to the bottom of your anxiety and try to curb it," Egil said, "then we'll worry about the rest."

"Degeneration," Dunban pondered, "Is that what happened with Xord?!"

"Yes, but his degeneration came to a halt after we developed antibodies to counter it, a fix that we do not have with us now."

"And yet he's still..."

"That can happen if not stopped in time." Egil sighed, "Which is why Nemesis will need fast operation to curb it before she becomes the next victim."

Face Nemesis watches as Kyle spat out more blood, and sees his tooth on the ground. She walks over and picks it up, revealing it to be a front canine tooth that broke from the root.

"You're right..." she admitted, "this...this isn't me. I would NEVER do this if I wasn't..."

"Just tell me what you need," Nova said, "Adam works like a hospital."

"Same. I might have what you're looking for," Neutron said.

[The Melee Master]

Egil nods, "I can work with anything you have. A CAT scanner, anything to regulate the water levels in her body, and keep an eye on her heart rate. After that, we'll decide what to do from there."

Now Nemesis was getting scared, "I'll...be all right, won't I?"

"Won't know for sure until we get some tests done on you,"

"You got it," Nova said and calls the ship in, and once landed he walked in Adam and starts to set up inside, saying, "Won't be long. Everything is set up close."

I start to worry for Kyle as well.

((Night!))

Nemesis drops the tooth to the ground as Kyle begins to wither in pain from the broken canine.

"Nemesis," called Egil as he walked over to Adam.

The faced pilot stared at Kyle for a moment, then followed her leader into the ship.

Jade shook his head, "Her situation is only going to get worse from here,"

"Did you say something?" asked Samantha to the Malkuth officer.

"No, just thinking out loud,"

"Ok, it's ready. I'm going to get Kyle ready as well. See if I can work on him."

"Honestly that tooth needed to go," Neutron said.

"Why are you saying that?" I asked.

"Let's just say, he had a bad sweet tooth."

[The Melee Master]

"Sweet tooth-ow!!" Kyle withered in pain.

"So even a fitness trainer has a sweet tooth," Bayonetta said, "no shame in that. Everyone has one."

"Maybe...on occasion, I admit-ow!"

"Speaking will only worsen the pain," Astor warned, "be still."

The sound of keyboard typing was heard as Egil studied the computer monitor in front of him. Nemesis was lying on a metal bed, wrists and ankles hooked up with wires attached to said monitor. Three wires were attached to the triangle-looking crest on her upper chest.

"Anything yet," Nemesis asks, not daring to move.

Beeping was hard, followed by a paper printing, which Egil then tore out the machine, "You may rise."

Nemesis sat up to this as Egil studied the paper. It was a graph in which the lines on it looked abnormal: level spikes were seen on random portions.

"As I suspected," he said, "your brain is experiencing abnormal amounts of stress, and it seems to have been going on ever since you escaped from the base...correct?"

"...No," she sighed, "a bit after. After I realized..."

"Realized what?"

"You would be feeling a lot worse with that cavity so this is tame," he said.

[The Melee Master]

"So even a trainer of fitness has secrets," D!ckson smirked.

"Stop it, D!ckson," Dunban told him.

"OK, yes, I sometimes have a sweet or two, like a piece of dark chocolate, or a shot of ice cream..." Kyle sighed, "but I burn off whatever I eat by doing some strength training! Nothing wrong with the occasional treat. Everyone's guilty of it!" He chuckled, "Sandra would kill me if she ever found out."

"I...haven't been able to calm myself for a while," she replied.

"For how long?"

"How long?"

"That information is important to rule out what I'm suspecting."

"...I can't recall anything that would put stress on me...wait a minute," she rose her head.

"If we can find out what's causing this, we can curb it."

"I...don't think it's anything you can help me with, Egil,"

"What makes you say that?"

Nemesis just sat in silence, arms wrapped around her legs and head propped up with her knees. Suddenly, Egil smiled, "Now I believe I've come to terms of what's causing your issue. Degeneration is possible if this continues, but just for your case, there is a fix."

She turns to him, "What is it?"

"However, it comes with a cost..."

"Whatever it is...I'll do it!"

"Funny, they say dark chocolate is good for you as well some ice cream," I say to that.

"That depends on who makes it," Neutron said, "I'll see if I can replace that tooth in the meantime."

[The Melee Master]

"And how often do you brush your teeth?" Sara asks him.

"Obviously, not often enough," sighed Kyle.

The doors open up, and Egil walks out.

"Well?" Jordan asked.

"She'll be fine," Egil said, "and the problem has been resolved."

"Wow, that fast?" asked Samantha.

"She was experiencing high stress levels that she cleverly hidden since the beginning of this debacle, but now it's gotten to where she can no longer hide anything." He turns and watches Nemesis walk out of the room and stop to look at the group.

"How are you feeling," asked James.

"...A bit better...all things considering," she replied, wanting to tell everyone something, but was holding back.

Or the wrong type of paste," I said then looks at Egil when he came out.

"Stop trying to hide things..." Neutron said.

[The Melee Master]

She raises her head, showing her scarred and cracked mask, "Aside from me being selfish this whole time...even though we all agreed that no more secrets are kept in this group...there is one more massive secret that needs to be addressed."

"Selfish?" Dunban asked, "What do you mean? You've been a big help to us all, Ms."

"No! You two only caught the tail end to all this!" she replied, "You, and most others who left already, don't know the full story of what I've been through!!" she clinches her fists, "Lucina, and Pyrrhon, are the only ones made aware, and I...was hoping to tell you all before this battle took place, but I guess now everyone aside from you all will never know...and maybe that's for the best."

Jade, however, stared at Nemesis, but kept his mouth shut.

"WELL THEN, OUT WITH IT" Papyrus huffed, angry that more secrets were kept despite promising no more.

"Calm yourself," Neutron said, as Sans woke up from the noise, "That's only going to make things worse."

[The Melee Master]

"WHAT PART OF 'NO MORE SECRETS' ISN'T ANYONE HERE UNDERSTANDING?" Papyrus huffed.

"I have a reason for this, and I was hoping my plan would work...but now I can see it was only causing you all more stress than I imagined" Nemesis sighed, "...including me,"

"And...?" Sparks said.

"During the mechon debacle, I was one of the first ones captured. They took me and the others to the mechon base, and had us converted to face mechon cores. Some didn't survive the conversion, but I was one of the lucky ones. Afterwards, Egil seemed to have seen some use in me, to which I agreed to help him as long as it meant saving our homeworlds."

"OK..." Snake said, wanting to move it along.

"But then when I realized you guys were involved," she turns who was left of the group, "I had a change of plans. I thought that, maybe if I kept up my charade and give you the driving force you need to help end this nightmare...but...then it all began to backfire when my mind started to..."

"Undergo that degeneration," Egil said.

"I see," Neutron said.

"I'll let the others know, even though they have departed," Ultima said, "Some of us haven't left. It looks like Broly is still thinking about what was offered to him."

[The Melee Master]

"Oh, good," sighed Jordan.

Nemesis sighed, "So...therefore...I have to offer a massive apology to every one of you," she glances at Kyle to this, then back at the others.

After balling her fists, she strikes her mask, shattering it completely, but didn't lower her arms as to keep the pieces in place for a moment longer. Afterwards, she raised her head...finally exposing her face. Strips of metal were embedded into her skin like veins, as well as a mechanical right eye.

Lucina clinched her teeth, recalling seeing her face once before. Jade said nothing to this either. Meanwhile, the others looked with a shocked expression, Samantha stating, "No way!"

I was shocked too while Nova looked away making Neutron turn to him seeing that Nova knew, but feared if he said anything she would be in danger.
