Wanted to create a separate topic to keep things organized, I guess. As the title suggests, here you can post pictures you take with the Nintendo Switch. Rules still apply from the other pic threads: blood and violence is fine, but no porn or anything like that, if that's even possible on a Nintendo game.

I don't know if this helps, but this is what I found and use for now (yes, I have an SD Gecko).



The SD card that came with it is also an adapter for a Micro SD card, but it works for any micro card. The Gecko is NOT necessary! Just put the micro into the SD card, and put the card in your PC's SD card slot, and use it like you would an SD card. Then go to your SD drive, and I think you should have a folder called Nintendo. If so, click on it, click on Album, and then you might have folders called 2017 and 2018. These are where your Switch pictures are.

What do you mean? What do you see when you put the micro card in your PC?

I did as you say, but it won't show so I know what ones I want to show.

Do you see them as a list of numbers or something? Put your card in the slot, open whatever drive you have your card in, if you see a folder called Nintendo, open it, open Album, and open either 2017 or 2018, and you might get a folder with a number on it, and once you open that, another folder with a number. Open that up, and or whatever you have your pics in, and there's your pic, which should show as a small icon.

My cellphone storage is full, or I'd record what I do and show you that way.

I do too, that's why I use it more than the others. Still wish it worked on monsters that have no mask for them, though...

As you can tell by the outfit and shield, this was taken from Skyrim when I rented it. I just had to take a picture of that moon!

I know it's not fair to compare Skyrim to BOTW, but...Nintendo said they took inspiration from Skyrim, yet I fail to see the similarities. BOTW feels more empty than Skyrim, I mean a vast majority of it is just open field and mountains. I was expecting thick forests instead of that lost woods bullcrap we got, that we can't even explore without getting sent back to the start, more streams and rivers, just stuff to make it interesting. I kinda felt Nintendo could've done better with Hyrule, despite it being 'destroyed' at the time, ya know?

But what do I know? I'm just one of the 2% who thinks Nintendo could've done better with the game than what we got. However, you bullsh!t about BOTW to fans, they'll rag on you for dissing the game, but then after you say it's the best Zelda game, they'll point out various flaws and rag on you for liking it too much. One of the many proofs is in a Facebook group I joined dedicated to Zelda fans!


Well, there's a first time for everything. Yes, this was my first Hylian Shield that finally broke. This was a while back, though, and I got and still have my 2nd one since then.

I broke a lot of shields in the game, so that's where I stand.

I'm more of an offense player, so I break more weapons than shields, except when I'm facing off against Guardians to save on ancient arrows, then I lose my shields. Also, I had just one more shrine to complete, and surprisingly, it was a blessing shrine, so NOW I'm finished with the shrines!

BTW, apparently, if you leave some weapons and all on the raft before setting foot on Eventide, you can use them. HOWEVER, you WILL lose them once the monk returns your items. I lost some good weapons that way just now, so...yeah.

I don't know how to explain it other than my former explanation, really. My 2nd option is to show you via video from my phone, and I think that's what I'll do. Before that, do you have the micro SD in your laptop?

I did, but I placed it back in my Switch for now. I did everything you said, but...what else? Do I copy/paste because that doesn't work

Well, seeing that you've posted a few pics of Switch games a bit ago, I'm guessing you have it all figured out by now? Videos can also be posted here, which I don't know how to do, so if you figure it out, please let me know.

After uploading, go to Embed Codes, and select BB Code Full. Then after you post the pic to this place, go to Preview and resize it, because these pics are pretty big.

This square is also great for EXP farming. Three Gohma's here.

That's OK.

This is the square I'm currently working on for EXP and weapons. It's a No Healing challenge, but it's something. As of right now, I quickly leveled Link up to 216 because of it, and the EXP Potion helps too, of course. I gotta get more silver material before I can use it again, though.

This where I level and get Rupees

I've barely started that map. I'll work on the other characters for the maps after I max Link out, who now at level 230, no joke. I'm going to focus on getting weapons to sell for more rupees now. I'll stock up on weapons, and sell them after I finish Link off, see how much money I can gain from selling all of them at once.

Lightning struck this, and it remained this way. I used the rune to show it.

Ganondorf is awesome on the square I showed. I ignore the summoners, take out all the captains, except the last (Young Link) then go to town on foes summoned. That attack he uses is wide and far. I'm sure you noticed the Ravio hood on the map. It is showing Darkness and Rupees are in effect, and that means you hit harder if your character uses darkness and gain more rupees. No need for the potion. I managed to hit a record of 10000 foes before 15 minutes was up.

I've JUST made it there, but what weapon do I use to reveal enemies? It's been a while since I've played Link Between Worlds, so yeah.

Also, if there's Adventure squares that have heart pieces for certain characters, and you can choose more than one, pick the character that needs the heart piece, and then pick your strongest character and use him/her. You'll still get the heart piece for that other character at the end of the game. It's cheating, kind of, but oh well.

I do that. I can't remember much, but Link was my strongest for a time and there's square that drops a heart or weapon, yes there's those, I have him as well as the chacter needed for the item.

I'm taking a break from the game right now.

So you don't remember what weapon I need to unlock the square? I've just used two of the wrong ones, but at least one gave me the rupee thing, but what do I need to use to reveal enemies? Hopefully, it's one I've unlocked already and I can just buy it.

Edit: NVM. Seems I don't have the item card unlocked yet.

Edit#2: The 'nice powers' are the same as when you use the Apothecary, but I've noticed you gain more weapons per battle in the map.

Edit#3: I'm stuck, I mean really stuck. There's two squares I have to use items on, but I don't have any of them unlocked.

Been there...I have too look at the square carefully once and it had the spot to use the painting on. It drove me nuts, but I got it.
