I didn't either, then followed.
Elsewhere, Ganondorf was looking around quickly smelling the air, then bolts again.

Jordan was trying to keep up, using his own sense of smell to try to track Ganondorf better.

Ganondorf slows to a stop a moment later, and spots a boy in the corner of his cell.
"I wonder if that's Gaara, but I can't see in that darkness," he thought.

Neji was also trying to locate Ganondorf within the darkness of the area. He didn't want to have to yell out in case it was a truly bad idea. So instead, he used a special technique of his, called the Byakugan. The veins around his eyes could be seen while using this technique. It was also like X-ray vision, and it gives him the ability to see a great distance as well. The unfortunate thing about it, was that he couldn't see past a blind spot, something that he's been practicing on every day.

Ganondorf sense that very power from him and walked out a little so he could be seen for the others.

Jordan's eyesight, with or without sunglasses, was a little better thanks to him being part animal, so with that, and his sense of smell and sensitive hearing, he was able to locate Ganondorf with ease.
"You find something?" he asked, sliding to a halt.

"In here," he said then tucked back in the area.

After Neji caught up with the two of them, he spotted a cell right next to him.
"This is the cage, right?" he asked, then, using his technique, he tried to peer through the bars to see what was inside, and spotted a figure in the corner.

Hearing his name, in a familiar voice, Neji immediately answered back, "Yeah," He tried to study Gaara a little bit, despite the dark, to determine his condition, but was careful around the cell after remembering what Ganondorf said about fire, "how are you feeling?"
That might of been a dumb question, but a lot was going on in his mind at the moment to speak clearly.

"Beside the pain my neck, and my gourd missing, just great," he said sarcastically.
"A gourd?" I ask.
"And who are they?"

"People I just met, actually," he admitted, "we'll have time to discuss it later. Don't think it'd be a better idea to get you out of here first?" He looked around the cell to see what he could do about the fire. The heat was already starting to make him sweat, so he looked around for Ganondorf.
"Ganondorf said he can take care of the fire, right?" he asked Ganondorf2.

"Yep, he's fire proof," I said and saw Ganondorf walk up the bars, then grab them, and pulled them appart quickly and easily, impressing Gaara, but not much.
"Come on," he said, and the young man walked through.

With a sigh, the ninja said, "Now we got to find a way out. ...No, not yet." He turns to Gaara now, "Would it be possible to get your sand gourd back if we look for it?"

"Hope so, I'm tired of being here with strangers," he said.
"Don't trust us?" Ganondorf asked.
"No," he flat out answered, "You're all the same."
"Bad past?" I thought.

"Nope, he hasn't changed one bit." Neji thought directly to himself, shaking his head, "still have to find that gouard, though."
He walked off to try to find it himself.

I walk off to look as well while Gaara gives Ganondorf a look over before ignoring again.
"I sense something in him, but I don't want to push his buttons either," Ganondorf thought as he noticed.
(I'll stop here for now, till Melee gets back)

{Good idea}
Neji continues peering through the darkness, focusing on his Byakugan to help him. He looked around to see if he could find the object that was missing.

Once Jordan caught scent of everyone else, he assumed everyone scattered because the scent was fading. Upon finding the area where Ganondorf had yelled out, he also caught sight of a cell, and immediately backed off from it because of the heat. He decided to go look for the others, or at least something that would catch his eye.

Gaara spots Jorden, but said nothing.
Ganondorf did too and said, "Hey."

Neji was still looking around with the help of his Byakugan. He overheard Ganondorf shouting 'hey', so it was possible that an ally had returned to them. He was also keeping an eye out for possible danger, mainly guards, but his main focus was to find that sand gourd. Since he and the others came all this way, might as well finish the job.

The dark fox was able to get a glimpse of the others in the area. He walked over to them, saying, "So this is the one we've been searching for," after noticing another person with them. Then he noticed that Neji was no where in sight, "Now where's Neji?"

"He went to find a gourd for this gentleman," Ganondorf said, pointing out Gaara.
"Hmph," he sounded.

"Oh c'mon," he growled, trying to keep his patience under control as much as possible, "it's got to be around here somewhere..."
The Byakugan didn't really seem to help that much, so Neji decided to stop using it, for now. He continued walking around the area for the missing item.

"Uh guys, I found it...but there's a problem..." I said.
Ganondorf walks over to see it, seemingly out in the open, two armoured statues standing to the sides of it, and he wasn't sure of it right away.

Neji located the source of Ganondorf2's voice, and once he arrived, he saw her and Ganondorf, along with the item. Closer inspection revealed two statues standing on the sides, looking as if they were guarding the sand gourd. This sort of thing was all too familiar to Neji.
"Looks like a trap to me," he said, though Ganondorf might have already figured it out. He turned to him on that, "so, what's your plan?"

Ganondorf's eyes change colour for a moment and he saw invisible beams of light around it as well.
"Hmm," he sounds before picking up a rock on the floor and throwing it at a beam to which the statues react to it, and look around.
Gaara shakes his head and put his arm out to make the gourd dissolve and come to him, giving Ganon and myself a shock and worry.
"Why'd you go and do that?!" I asked in anger.
He said nothing, then alarms go off making the statues turn around and target everyone.

"If it were me, I would've done the same thing," Jordan admitted, preparing to counter any possible attacks the statues made, but it was hard to tell if it'll work or not.

A growl was heard from the ninja himself, not out of spite of what Gaara had just done, but from the moving statues. He wasn't sure how he'd fair up to them, with or without weapons, and after being a part of Team Guy for so long, Neji was better at being a follower than a leader, though he'd never openly admit it. He calmly waited to be instructed on what to do next, whether it'd be to attack the statues, if that was even possible, or just make a run for it. He didn't care. He was wanted everyone, himself included, to survive this.

"They're robots," Ganondorf said, then went in a stance as well as myself with my sword, "Get ready, they hit hard."
