He makes sure the men were still with him.

Once there, there was a man with blond dread locks and pirate attire waiting for them.
He turned, showing that he looked like Angelostro.
"Ahoy there, mate. Didja bust out my crew?"he asked
"He sure did Jack! This guy's incredible!"they said
"Well fancy that! I was just on my way to go get some help from over seas."he said, pointing his left thumb over his shoulder, while his right index finger pointed to the left

As soon as they stepped aboard, Jack pulled out a compass of some sort, and examined it in a peculiar way.
He began to steer the boat afterwards

Ganondorf takes out the crystal he took earlier and notice it was glowing now.
"That ship triggered it, it seems," he thought, "But why?"
He puts away again and continued to watch the ship.

As the ship drew closer, Jack pulled out a sword, and swung it in the air, which alerted his men to light the cannons.
Soon their cannons launched an attack on the black pearl.

The Pearl easily dodged the shots, and unleashed cannonballs of their own, hitting Jack's ship dead on.
Jack almost lost his balance, as did Will.
