I'll be honest, I have to draw what I see, I don't have the mindset to draw things off the top of my head.

I have to use references too, sometimes, so don't worry about it. But yeah, I meant what I said about not posting anymore art in that forum if I don't get a good response. I'm not pressuring them into giving me good replies; I'm just...

-Tired of being 'corrected' for something that was done intentionally or doing something that happens in real life, like changing a hair style or scarring up an animal.
-Being yelled at for something that can be easily fixed, like a crooked leg or whatever.
-Being yelled at for bad anatomy even though there are far worse drawings of bad anatomy than my own.
-Being yelled at for putting a watermark on my drawings because I like to show them off elsewhere! Now I'm wasting my Photobucket space just for that forum!
-And ESPECIALLY flaming me for drawing anime style because I COMPLETELY SUCK at realism! I can't be anymore serious!

If I get a few good replies then the rest were trashy, I probably wouldn't mind, but the responses I got were nothing but rude and pointless criticism/stuff I already know. Not one time did I get praise on anything, even on my good looking art which were just ignored. But like I said, I'll give it until the end of the month, then I'll delete that topic and never show my work there again.

Yeah. They may be expecting me to delete my topic, too. Well...I'll just delete it without saying a word to them (someday I will), and if they ask, I won't acknowledge it. Immature of me, but then what do you call people who criticize your art for ridiculous reasons, bash it when you try to explain your reasons, then leave no (good or bad) reply on your more well-drawn art? For a forum that's has more adults than teens, they sure expect a lot out of a member. Well, I'm an adult too, but I'm still not perfect.

I know, but obviously they don't. I deleted that topic a while ago, so now I won't have to worry. Anyway, this is the pic I said I was doing back in the chat thread. My character in her secondary form lying on a bed. Lack of watermark due to posting on Photobucket instead of Deviantart! Why? I never planned to post it on that site to begin with.

Thanks. ;D I had to use a tutorial for the chest and wings. Those were tough. Nothing I could do about the contrast; the more I messed with it in Gimp, the worse it looked, so I'm stuck with a light image. Yeah, I got that done on October 25th, but I wanted to see if there were ways I could improve it. ...Couldn't think of anything, so I gave up. I'm still happy with it, though!

Now, don't take what I'm going to say personally. I just need to get it out of my system, that's all.

That ridiculous quote of mine was aimed at those who nagged my art because I added blood and wounds. Um...last I checked, blood is natural in life, and wounds are natural in life. Hell, I've been exposed to this kind of stuff at a very young age, so they don't phase me! And anime, realism, or whatever...everyone has a style they're comfortable with. This year, I've dealt with unwanted criticism and bawling over my work, causing me to leave one forum and delete my art topic in another. I...HAD...ENOUGH! If you see something wrong, say it, don't spray it, and I'll see what I can do to fix it IF I STILL CAN!

Ok, angry rant over! So then, this piece was done as an attempt to break my art block, and overall, help get my point across somehow! Because of those, criticism is NOT desired. Remember that fight scene I've done with Roy and Inuyasha in an RP a while back? Well... (They have their claws stuck into each other and are rolling around. That's why I didn't add a ground.) Sorry, scanner messed with the quality.

Ok...so then why have it?

And if you're a Deviantart member and you have your mature content filter off, you'll see that there are some people who draw nudity or even pose in the nude themselves. Why aren't THEY getting bashed over it, huh? There was even a topic about it the other day on Deviantart's site. The admins wanted member's opinions about nude pics and art.

Me? I don't draw it, I don't support it, but I DO respect it. After all, art can be anything people want it to be. And for me, when it comes to 'disturbing', blood and gore are the farthest I'll go with my own art. Is it sadistic of me? I'm no longer sure, but like I said, what do you expect after being exposed to it as a child, both in movies and in real life?

I'll post more art some other time.

Yeah I understand you there. Though there was one time I almost got sick from a movie because of the gore, even though it didn't bother me.

Yes, I know I'm missing the hair piece on the side. That was done on purpose. And not that anyone would care, but...people who complain about this image due to blood or whatever, I won't get mad. Instead, I'll feel sorry for you because you have nothing better to do than to rat on a piece of art that was done way back in 2007! Get a life. I mean it!

Thanks. And here's another one I just now got done. Kouga's human and demon form. I used another person's work as a pose reference, so I'm scared to post it on DeviantArt at the moment. I KNOW the legs are crappy looking, but I can't fix those.

Good news: I've finally convinced myself to stay clear away from that one forum, since they no longer acknowledge me, no matter how often I post.

Phht news: This is the first time since Februrary 7th that I've ATTEMPTED to draw something. And yes, I'm aware the sword is in the wrong hand, but when I flip the image, it doesn't look right.
