I'm gonna take Art 3 next semester, so hopefully, I'll be able to make more stuff like that! Anyway, I made this a couple months ago. I tend to draw to express my feelings, and you can tell how I was feeling at that point. There's a story behind this pic really, which is also based off of a real-life experience.  |

Kind of. It started out as a pencil drawing, then I scanned it and painted it in Photoshop. I've been viewing Photoshop Tutorials on how to shade and highlight well. I'm still practicing, though.
Sorry about the ugly watermark, but I can't have anyone stealing my work!

Do you even know what a watermark is? It's like a signature except it's transparent, and you can do it by painting or on a computer (I find the computer easier). By placing it ON the picture itself, it makes it hard for people (Art theives) to edit the art without messing the picture itself up.

I never had a computer until I was 13, so I never had the knowledge to know things like that. That and I never used Painting things...

Oh. I can't remember when we bought our very first computer, but I think I was either in the 1st grade or 3rd grade. I recieved my own computer back in late 2003...or was it 2004? I can't remember, but it was during Christmas! My older brother got me Photoshop last year, I think, and I've been practicing with it since.

I'm so used to using a pencil....But I saw something that's like a giant verson of a lower DS screen. This computer allows you draw things on it.

Sounds cool! I use pencils all the time when I draw, mostly mechanical pencils because the lead isn't as thick as regular pencils, and my drawings come out better.
I also have some paintings I did in Art 1 last year, but they're a bit sloppy. I wasn't always good with painting to begin with! Drawing, whether it's sketching or freehand, is my strength in art.
Oh, and I also made a Stain-Glass last year in Art 2. I accidently left it in my art class all summer, but I got it back on Monday this week! My teacher wrapped it up so that it won't get broken. I put the paint on a bit too thick, but oh well! I'll take a picture of it and upload it here in a little bit!

Thanks. This is something I did awhile back, but I never took a picture of it until today! It's a little rushed, though. And yes, this is still my character, not Kenshin! Here's how you can tell them apart. Kenshin himself has a cross-scar and always wears a kimono, while my character has no scar, wears a t-shirt (Mostly black), dark blue jeans, and, occasionally, will have no shirt at all. The line below her neck is a cut.  |

Thanks! This pic is kind of based on the RP: Way of the Sword. This pose of my character is taken from when she fights that giant scorpion thing. In my opinion, it doesn't look all that great because I haven't drawn her in quite a while, so I might of missed a few details!  |

Anyway, I think I should start drawing more of my character's alternate form for awhile, but sometimes, I can't seem to get her expression right. I drew her hybrid form because I needed to update my art thread, and I was super bored.

What about browsing the Internet? You can also look on DeviantArt (or browse pictures on a search engine) for ideas as well. Reading might also help, and you can also turned to television, or listen to music. Those tend to help me get inspiration for drawing, maybe it can help you as well! ;D
